This European-inspired restaurant impressed us from start to finish. We sampled a wide range of dishes — scallops, oysters, mussels, croquettes, saganaki, short ribs, and the standout of the night: the duck special with truffle. The duck was nothing short of a masterpiece — perfectly cooked, beautifully tender, and elevated to another level with the rich aroma and flavor of truffle. Truly unforgettable. The croquettes were another highlight — soft, creamy, and beautifully balanced with a cheddar custard and just the right tang from the ketchup. Every dish was well-executed and bursting with flavor. 🙏🏻 thanks to the Chefs for our night. The service was top-notch — warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The cocktail list was impressive, and we tried four different creations, all unique and well-balanced. We also brought our own wine, which was handled seamlessly by the staff. The ambiance was lively yet intimate, perfect for any occasion. We even saw a couple celebrating their engagement — a clear sign that this place is suited for everything from casual get-togethers to special celebrations or group dinners. Highly recommend Wildgrain — it’s a true gem in Mornington, and we’ll definitely be back.

$29.95 steak was delicious & very good value. Staff were very friendly & helpful & the Peppermint dessert was to die for!
