We go to the Bathers regularly so we know exactly what to expect. The Host is always friendly, even when we forget to book, and he food is reliable. The young servers are always helpful (even though in some cases we know the menu better than them). A great setting for a reliable casual dining experience.

Excellent venue. Someone had recommended this so I arranged for some friends to take a friend to Bartiga for a ladies lunch to celebrate her 50th birthday. We opted for the $125 banquet menu which was superb and excellent value for money. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We weren’t rushed out either so it was a perfect way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon celebrating a friend’s birthday. Will be back another time.

Bills never disappoints. Great ambience, consistently good food (though portion size on some menu items has reduced). Wine chosen was different to the one on the menu (a Riesling) but still delicious. Perfect spot for a family celebration (30th). We’ll continue to frequent Bilks, Surry Hills. Double Bay is our local and tend to go there but prefer the Surry Hills vibe.

A very nice Sunday Roast on a bleak and wet Sunday. Very comforting and the staff were very friendly and efficient. A nice dining space that will be beautiful in Winter with the fireplace going.
