Excellent food and service as always. Never let us down

My partner and I dined here for the first time last Sunday and it was a delightful experience. Liza was incredibly warm and welcoming on arrival and took time to explain the Sunday Lunch menu. I had the roast sirloin with all the trimmings and my partner chose the Sea-bass and seasonal veg. The portions were generous and left little room for dessert but we did manage to share the special pancakes with ice cream. Will certainly be back to sample the dinner menu soon.

We enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere of the restaurant as we were able to sit on the terrace and appreciate the view. However the booking I made seemed unnecessary as no one confirmed our booking on arrival. The waitress was very lovely but did seem a bit under pressure so maybe the other waiter that appeared later should have been there the whole time as the place was quite busy.

Authentic Indian food. The puri's were divine. The samosa's were served with a chickpea sauce - not something I would choose but turned out they were delicious. Shared the meat platter which was all cooked to perfection and spiced beautifully. Wine by the bottle was reasonably priced and, if i recall, all under £30. I didn't have a child with me but was delighted to see that the kids menu was all authentic Indian food also - no fish fingers/burgers or nuggets here Service was relaxed but professional, if a little hectic - but they did have a birthday party to tend to which seemed to be around 50ppl of all ages, which they managed very well and didn't impede the other diners. Overall, a great restaurant which i will definitely be going back to.
