And then we discussed the various Scotches and how they are made in both Ireland and Scotland. We loved him and hope to see him again. The tea service was very nice. Food was good and presentation was nice. We opted for Prosecco and beer rather than tea. We do recommend this service.More infoThe Glasshouse Hotel, EdinburghPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Edinburgh•4.2
- PPaulEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review4.0Dined on Mar 29, 2025It was very quiet when we had hour booking, only 3 tables being served, we felt as we were being rushed out the door. We would have had 3 courses and a drink in less than 30 minutes. We asked the waiter/host to give us 10 minutes between courses and he was happy to oblige as we wanted to enjoy the food and chat at the table. The food was lovely, really tasty, well presented and proportion sizes were great.More infoAmalfino Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Edinburgh•3.2
- JJohnEdinburgh/Midlothian •8 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025We had a very good meal and the service was excellent. It was marvellous to get a proper French meal with escargots, chateaubriand and tarte tatin - an excellent set dinner with a bottle of red Bordeaux wine. The price, however was more elevated than it might have been, but I am perhaps a bit out of date.More infoBistro du Vin EdinburghPrice: Expensive• French• Old Town•4.1
