Kosura was amazing! Her drinks and food recommendations were on point. 👌🏾 The owner was also wonderful, coming to ask my friend and I how we were doing as we dined for lunch.

This was an expected treat. Emely greeted me with such warmth and kindness ….it made me feel like I’d been a customer for years. The entire staff was superb. Everyone was personable, attentive, and courteous. I had a delicious Tuna tartare appetizer, which consisted of a series of well-balanced flavors. Nothing overpowering the tuna (granted, I asked for the sauce on the side) and a Hendrick’s gin tonic. This is a must go-to in NoMa!

Ethiopian food is always a special "off-the-beaten-track" treat and Ethiopic has long been one of DC's best sources to experience it with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly service with good value. My wife and I just enjoyed traditional doro wat, beef tibbs and a vegetable sampler washed down with traditional, tej and a new (to us) sparkling tej. Everything (including the light jazz) was outstanding and we will return soon.

OMG! This is the place to be for delishous african cuisine. I dined on the fried filet catfish that was cooked to perfection, very tasty with Jolie rice and cabbage. All was absolutely taseful. The waitress was extremely helpful with my dinner choice and the meal came quick and hot. I felt like I was at home. I'm coming back real soon.
