The food and service was very good - tasty dishes and our waiter was great about accommodating our gluten allergy (although the menu offers a very limited gluten free selection). The music was too loud and primarily rap that included profanity — the restaurant is clearly going for a hip vibe, but the music was just too edgy for us and it tainted our experience.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the refreshing Osaka 1986 cocktails to start, then the edamame, pan fried gyoza, softshell crab, spider roll, dragon roll, handroll for two platter, and chased down each bite with a sip of the bottle of Haikkasan Yukimorbu sake (sp?). Definitely got our fill. Excellent quality, flavors, and authentic ingredients! See you next time!

Highly recommended for a romantic sunset dinner. We went at 6;30 and were seated with a view of the Pacific from the balcony. We celebrated our anniversary with the world's award winning Mai Tai, and a bottle of nigori sake, Miso soup was the best I've ever had , we also had "surf and turf" between us (sharing the lobster tails and the thickest strip steak ever,) paired with asparagus and delicious laminated scalloped potatoes, amazing flavor and presentation all around. The service was top notch 10 out of 10, and the server must've heard us toast with our drinks because she surprised us at the end of our meal with a happy anniversary dessert plate! What a thoughtful gift! The date was perfect and within walking distance of the Outrigger Reef.

We were thrilled to have Chef Kakazu's full attention and care for my husband's birthday dinner. We do an annual sushi omakase for his birthday and agree this was THE BEST ever! We felt as if we were in Japan! Chef went above and beyond from the appetizers, to the sushi and the aburi dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to return-- often!!! We want to support this neighborhood gem to make sure it will be here for YEARS to come!

We invited our friends from the mainland for dinner to Sansei. I'd have to say, they were not disappointed. We enjoyed everything we ordered. What's more, our server did such a great job catering to us.

We were able to make a last minute reservation here on a Friday night. We had ordered from them before thru DoorDash and I like their chirashi bowls the most of anywhere I’ve tried because they have everything I want, so wanted to eat there in person. Although some of the parking stalls are a little challenging to get out of, the food is definitely worth it. All of the fish is high quality and tasty. The beef tongue and edamame were also really flavorful. We enjoyed everything we ordered and would like to return so we can try more.
