I enjoy eating at the Blue Bonnet when I’m in the mood for Mexican food. Their chips are the best and I like the individual salsa bowls. For me, the Blue Bonnet is relaxing and welcoming. The service is excellent because they take care of you, but don’t bother you a lot while eating. If I want to relax, and “catch up” with a friend or family, they do not hurry you to get leave. The Blue Bonnet is a true, old fashioned place to eat that doesn’t break the budget!

The chips are a highlight! We even asked for a second helping. All 4 of us enjoyed what we ordered and the portions were substantial. The only complaint is that the margaritas were expensive for the quantity served. I’ll definitely go back but will skip alcoholic beverages.

Xiquita, te sobrepasaste! This is a love story of food and flavors. Hoja Santa is everything- smoky dreams of quesillo con hongos, a tostadita de ceniza that is everything. The Castacan is all you could wish a pork belly to be- tender and filling, the salsa was just spicy enough to wake up my senses. I highly, highly recommend it it is a new favorite in Denver!!

Overall, we had a great experience. There was live music that was a bit loud for us, but we sat on the patio which was perfect. We could easily have conversation and enjoy the band. We ordered the shrimp fajitas and short ribs and both were delicious. The service was a bit slow in the beginning, but we weren’t in a rush so we enjoyed the beautiful night while waiting to order our food. The amount of food included with the fajitas was huge. Easily 2-3 meals. We will be back!

I had eaten at 3 margaritas Downtown Denver with a friend before, and had a very good experience. We were craving Mexican food and margaritas, and so I wanted to revisit this restaurant other time. The service was extremely friendly, the food came out in a timely manner, and the food was delicious! Definitely an ideal restaurant to fulfill your Mexican food cravings! The Cadillac margarita was perfect!

Stanley Marketplace is a great place to eat and shop. My dinner at La Comida was ok. The margarita was too bitter. The skirt steak burrito filling was delicious but it came warm instead of hot and the tortilla wasn’t even warm or soft. My friend said her tamales were good but not great. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the ambiance. It was a little noisy but not so bad that we couldn’t talk.
