   Had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The fettuccine was good, chicken not so much. A bit chewy. Finished with a crème brûlée which was runny. Took 15 minutes to get a replacement, which was a bit runny but better. I must mention that they were busy.

   I brought my two daughters here for a nice pre Mother’s Day dinner and it did not disappoint. We had made reservations which I definitely recommend and they were very welcoming when we walked through the door. We were seated upstairs and a nice booth and were welcomed warmly by our waiter who was so kind and friendly. The food was amazing. The bread was delicious and the ambience was lovely. I will definitely eat here again the next time I’m visiting Huntington Beach. I highly recommend this place.

   Great for date night or even family pizza. Has decent window tables and atmosphere. We had the chicken pam (was good), spicy fusilli shrimp (sub linguini which was great). Service was a little slow to bring wine and made a couple of small mistakes on dish changes, but was a very pleasant experience and we will be back.

   First time here as I was visiting my son. Loved the olive oil and pesto for the bread! Food was well prepared. My pasta was slightly Al dente with a nice chew. Will definitely be visiting again on my next trip out!

   We have gone to Cucina Alessa for many years, we enjoy the food a lot. We have our favorites: Calamari, Ravioli di Zucca and Tortellini Prosciutto. However, the service this time was really lacking. I have never seen this waiter before, perhaps he was new. We could never find him when we needed something. The noise level is something you need to be aware of, it gets loud. Downstairs and upstairs. If you want something intimate, and quite, not the best place (unless you go for an early bird dinner)

    The lasagna came out cold in the center. There was an error on one of the orders, and when they sent it back to be redone, it came back poor quality. The server was not attentive in these delays, not making sure that we could all eat together. The manager did take one meal and one drink off the bill. We will not be going there again.

    As always the food was terrific. Sal is one of the best servers I’ve ever had. He is timely with his approach. Jovial in his respectful style and just a great guy. I highly recommend Cucina Alessia for special occasions or just a Tuesday dinner with your sister.

    This Huntington Beach Italian restaurant is amazing. The food choices are vast, and everything we've tried over the years has been great. Nightly specials are excellent, and the servings are more than adequate to satisfy your hunger. The service has always been very friendly and attentive.

    Our waiter was awesome. He was attentive and kept us updated on our order The place was really really loud. The kitchen struggled with the orders. It took 45min for our food to come out. Meatballs were great and so was the spinach ravioli.

    The short-rib tartalone in a white mushroom sauce was excellent as was the seafood (shrimp, mussels, clams) linguine dish with a white wine sauce. The meatball lasagna was a bit salty and flat.

    The fresh pasta was delicious. The wait staff splendid. Just a note for next time we ordered a salad w/ light dressing. When we received it was drenched in dressing. I could tell the produce was very fresh, but couldn’t eat her about a third of it because of her dressing. I truly believe if I asked the waiter he would’ve taken it back, but I didn’t.     My husband and I came in to eat with 2 of our boys, as our 3rd son was at winter formal-the service was really slow, both drinks and food. Typically, we’ve had great experiences here but not last night. Our son that was not with us has allergies to nuts. Long story short, we ordered CARAMEL gelato and they accidentally gave us PISTACHIO gelato. Had our other son been with us, he could have had an anaphylactic reaction. So BEYOND scary! The only explanation from the server was that the girl in the back just scooped the wrong flavor because they are similar in color😡 Food allergies are serious and can be life threatening! We did not have a manager come speak to us to apologize nor did they take the dessert off of our bill. Beware, if you have serious food allergies.

    Our dinner here was great! We started with a bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay and it was delicious. For appetizers we had the carpaccio and the clams. They were both great. The broth from the clams was so so good! For our mains we had spaghetti and meatballs and the raviolletti. The meatballs were so soft and perfect. You could tell they were freshly made.     +Some of the best Italian food I've ever had (lasagna, meat ravioli, & tortellini prosciutto). +Very nice decor and lighting +Large wine selection, including pairing suggestions +Free bread and amazing olive oil/pesto! +Truffle fries are a GREAT appetizer -Quite loud inside -Service was a bit slow being that they were fairly busy -My daughters lasagna came out slightly cold on a hot plate... Sent it back and they brought her a fresh piece, but it still wasn't "hot". Sure tasted delicious though!!!

    Alfonso was almost completely absent from our table. Other reviews mentioned that service was hit or miss and my guess is that our miss was having him as our server. Otherwise, exceptional time. We'll be back and specifically avoid Alfonso. Hopefully, it was just an off night for him.

    Finally got the opportunity to dine at my client's restaurant last night and it was a.life changing experience! Each dish was perfectly balanced with superb, fresh ingredients and seasonings. Every bite was heavenly. Alfonso, Jose, and rest of the staff were the best hosts. I have found my new home for Italian cuisine. Many thanks to the Cucina Alessa Huntington Beach family.
