Had brunch here recently and really enjoyed our meals; husband had the short ribs tots bowl and said it was fantastic, I had the corn cake pancake and it was delicious. Though portions were not huge they were really savory and filling and we both took home leftovers (unusual for me especially!). Coffee was also robust and hearty. Only thing I would have liked is a bit more space between tables at the booth seating (could easily have reached out and touched my neighbor and also heard every bit of their conversations, even with music also playing in the background); for me felt a bit close rather than cozy. Hostess and server were also really flexible when we asked to scoot one table over despite it being a busy brunch time. All in all really good service and tasty food.

The hostess, server and waitress were very kind and welcoming. I ordered from the Brunch menu. This was my first frittata and it was amazing. The banana walnut bread is fantastic. The breakfast wine selection that day was brilliant and is a great option if mimosas aren’t your thing. I will definitely be back and bring my young 20’s sons and their significant others , this will definitely be their vibe.

The Restaurant is beautiful and a short walk from DPAC. They have small and large plates which is defined as appetizers and entrees. A small plate can be a meal. Service was wonderful. First visit and will definitely come back. Wish glasses of wine were slightly less than $17-19 each since two glasses is almost $40. Besides that my friend had a strawberry martini and loved it. Thank you for the corner booth. 😊

Great service on Mother's Day but the food was a mixed bag. Very good banana bread. Devil egg's had multiple competing flavors which was a bit strange. The breakfast sandwich had baked egg which was interesting but not the best flavor. Super nice people and I like the location and setting.

Nice appetizers. Rushed service. Waitress removed 1/2 our dinner plates while the rest of us were still eating. Fish special was very bland. Pork chops and braised rib were enjoyed.

Three people at my table ordered the noodles but one substituted the tofu for chicken and she loved it. The other two, ordered it as is and both thought the tofu needed seasoning. The spice level was a little too high for my mom but just right for my son.

We love the Counting House for breakfast and lunch. I was not as impressed with the dinner. My noodles did not seem soft enough. Also, we did not like our seating. The side I sat on was uncomfortable. Next time I will ask for chair seating, Breakfast there was the best. Oh, I almost forgot, I loved the salad. The service was excellent. Sorry, they are not doing lunch any more.

The portions are very small and you need at least 3 dishes. For a high end restaurant I would expect service personal to wear professional outfits. The service woman was very friendly and ambitious. Please next time do not take the champagne glasses with you before the customer had finished drink.

A nice restaurant. Ambiance was good. The bathrooms were ... interesting. Unfortunately, one was "used" ... and you could see it from the hallway. Service was good. The "greeter" was awesome and full of energy.

I drive an hour to eat in Raleigh at least once a month. Countinghouse is my favorite place to have dinner. The menu changes frequently and the service is unsurpassed. The ambience feels like Soho New York.
