Service was excellent!!! Jovana J. was the best server we had had in a VERY long time. She was excellent and made my wife's birthday special.

It was almost a perfect night. The only issue was the hostess couldn’t find our reservation and said there was nothing she could do because they were booked. I asked her to look again because I received confirmation of the reservation but didn’t have it with me. I mentioned it was my husband birthday and it was a special occasion. Still she said sorry we don’t have any room for you. So we left and within a few minutes she came running after us and said she made a mistake and found our reservation. She said the reservation screen was on the wrong date. So the good news was we had a great dinner but it was just a shame that we had the stress of being turned away at the hostess desk.

This is the second time I have dined at Council Oak and the food was just as amazing the second time! The server was very polite and gave us a free glass of champagne since it was my girlfriend and I's anniversary. The only negative was we waited over an hour to receive our food.

Terrific meal and top-notch service. First time there and definitely will go back. Parking and navigation of all the construction a challenge, but I suppose to be expected as the campus grows.

The menu, staff and ambiance is superior to Broward. The last time I was at Broward the bar staff were belligerent as they knew they were one of the only restaurants open. There was a female bar tender at Broward that was so rude. We almost didn’t go to this one in Tampa because of that and we would have missed out on a real gem!!!! The service was fantastic and the change up of items on their menu were awesome! Sitting and watching the kitchen crew was an awesome addition !!!!

The atmosphere was amazing, food was delicious, and our server, I believe her name was Chelsea, was great! I had noted that we were celebrating our anniversary on OpenTable and our server brought over champagne and chocolates at the end of the meal. It was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!
