   This classic French/Spanish bistro would be right at home in the 16th arrondissement. The food as always is outstanding, and the wait-staff has moved up from “very good” to “excellent”. The ambiance is what one expects in a bistro. Kitty and Angeles take the time to greet and coddle the guests and are genuine and personable. One of Houston’s most unique restaurants.

   First time dining at Costa Brava Bistro. I’m so sorry I didn’t know about it sooner. The scallops and shrimp over risotto dinner was delicious and cooked to perfection. The restaurant staff was lovely and the ambience and decor were elegant and comfortable. Yay that they don’t cram as many tables as they can into the restaurant! I enjoyed every bit of my first time dining there. Brava to owners, Angeles and Kitty!

   The quality of the food and service is and has been for several years ...at the highest level. The Chef can really cook and they run the front of the restaurant with a friendly and efficient staff. The bill may be higher than you expect from a restaurant in a strip center but you are paying for the quality.

   I’ve had many wonderful dinners here. My first time here for lunch. Excellent as always. Top notch service. We had trout, salmon and my personal favorite, paella. I’m sure we will do lunch here again soon.

   I love this restaurant. Before my wife died, this was her favorite restaurant as the staff was attentive, the atmosphere was delightful and of course the food is phenomenal. I took a date here last night and she loved the meal. This is a very special place for me now.

   The food was okay the wine was good but I felt they were rushing us to finish. My wife and I were only there for about an hour and half.

    Everything on the menu looks delicious. We enjoyed the outstanding gazpacho, the delicious romaine salad with manchego, the wonderful red snapper served with jumbo lump crab and haricots verts, and one of the steaks, and everything was absolutely fabulous. It's quiet and dark and very European in feel. We will go back!
