Waiter had no idea that club soda and sparkling water were not the same.
When explaining this to him he’d told us soda was only for use with alcohol.
We did the blind tasting menu and it did not disappoint! Everything was wonderful. The red snapper was beautifully cooked and moist and just wonderful light sauce on top. The roasted sweet potToes also were memorable as well as duck breast and a deconstructed chocolate cake that was sublime.
I was visiting NOLA for a couple of days and loved this place.
Excellent vegetarian options! My wife and I had a lovely Valentines dinner and were very satisfied as vegetarians eating here, which isn’t always easy to find in NOLA (especially for upscale options). We also had a chance to chat with the owner afterwards, and he was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely look forward to returning!
INCREDIBLE!! We took the blind tasting with wine pairing and we absolutely loved it !!
It was a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. Wonderful service and food. The seating was a little close and the upstairs space a little nondescript but everything else was superb. The winter greens salad sounds plain and is over the moon good.
Spectacular food and service! Highly recommend! Chef is a master at flavors and service was wonderful.
The food and service were exceptional. Absolutely loved the snapper and short ribs. Yum!
Did the five course meal with wine and every course was delicious. Loved the smoked short ribs!
1st time. Stopped for dinner before Mardi Gras ball. Great service and food was delicious. Great presentation on salad, snapper and cheesecake. It was perfect!
We had the best time! Deciding to try the blind tasting menu with 5 courses was a special treat. Unexpected flavors in gorgeous presentation...we all ate every bite. The staff was amazing and the room is New Orleans perfection. A MUST do.
we have not been here for a few years. we tried the tasting menu. It was good. However, too expensive for what was offered compared to tasting menus like August. The fist was a few carrots. Good but not impressive. The yams and fish courses were very good. The pork cheeks were too tough for this delicate meat. The chocolate dessert was fantastic, the best of all the courses. Very good restaurant. we will try again. Take an uber to this location, very hard to park around this part of Magazine.
Food is always so interesting. Always an unusual combination of ingredients. They always make the combination come out so good. Wines by the glass are excellent. Service is so good. Staff is always knowledgeable.
The food was incredible and enough. I asked for the beef ribs. So soft. The bread was really good too. I asked for a cider. Very good too. Everybody was so kind and attentive. I enjoy every moment! Ohhh the homemade icecream amazing!!!
My mom, a young 77 but not a “foodie”, is from here but lives in Phoenix. She requested, no, insisted we eat there.
Service is attentive yet relaxed. Small plates are always fun. Trust the menu. It may not look like much on paper but the dishes are always delicious and thought out.
Food was very good. Our waiter was excellent. Our best restaurant experience in New Orleans.
Highly recommend the blind tasting
Food and service were outstanding
always amazing! never disappoints, not even when it’s crowded or busy.
out of town friends
We have been patronizing this establishment for awhile now and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and our dining experience.
Wonderful food with a different twist that can be puzzling until you taste it. Wait staff will fully explain any ingredients you don't recognize. Service is excellent and noise level never more than moderate. OH, the best baked in house bread period. Served warm with soft creamy butter.
Ate there a few years ago and loved it, so I was excited to go back on a recent visit to NOLA. The food is wonderful, the wait staff attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy. We both loved our dishes, but we both felt that they should have been served with a vegetable side. When we inquired about ordering some sort of vegetable as a side dish, we were surprised to learn that is not an option. Otherwise, LOVE Coquette!
Lovely and romantic spot. Service was exceptional. Food was very good.
Really amazing experience , food and wine plus the cocktail where al top best negroni in New Orleans , and service outstanding .
Fantastic find on Magazine
Excellent bartebder and food was multilayered and superb
Outstanding dining experience from start to finish.
Not sure why I waited so long to try Coquette. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time.
Coquette is hands-down our favorite when we visit New Orleans, which is saying a lot in a city that has so many great food options. We love the modern Southern menu that uses fresh, seasonal ingredients in innovative ways. Service is stellar, and the intimate size of the restaurant makes it feel like a special occasion.
A must try in New Orleans not far from the CBD on Magazine. The food is unique and some of the best I've had. Everyone in our group said it was truly a great experience. We will certainly be back again.
We came as a couple for a birthday and tried the blind tasting menu with wine pairings. We loved the creativity, thought the pairings were great, and appreciated that they acknowledged the bday. We would definitely come back! We slightly preferred the ambiance of the lower bar level to the upper restaurant, but both were lovey.
It was a superb experience !
Great birthday dinner and first time visit. Will definitely return
Amazing and innovative food changing seasonally. Service is warm and inviting. If I could only have one meal out it would be the feed me here.
Seated on time; service was attentive. Ambiance great as usual - sounds of a restaurant in Paris for me: moderate sounds of conversation, the bartender, just comfortable background. Waitstaff presented specials effectively, meals came after just enough time for some enjoyable conversation; we ordered our favorites; meals were consistently enjoyable, as always. For, this was another excellent experience at this fine restaurant. Of course, we will return.
Located on a peaceful section of Magazine Street; parking close by with ease. The beautiful interior and ambiance provided the finest setting for a wonderful meal. The food was outstanding, from the small plates to the entrees, thru the desserts. Dinner isn’t complete without dessert. Someone always eats it. The service was excellent.
Leaving and stepping into the evening, enveloped in the Garden District makes for a memorable occasion.
Phenomenal. Blind tasting with wine pairing was lovely.
Shrimp and beets were fantastic. The short rib, however was overly sweet and not at all savory. A little tough to cut but not too tough to chew. The table we were at downstairs was so distracting as my direct view was the blinding street light and discount zone gas station.
Absolutely fantastic all around!!!
Our first meal in New Orleans was a great success. Lovely restaurant. We sat upstairs where things are a bit more quiet. The fish is fresh and prepared perfectly. Service was first rate. Highly recommended.
