Serving fried chicken "family style" for brunch seemed like a natural fit. We think there are few things better then a big platter of fried chicken with deviled eggs, pickles, buttermilk ranch and great sides to share
Shrimp and Grits
bayou cora corn grits, asparagus, sweet corn
country ham, hushpuppies
The tasting menu is always wonderful and a really good value!
One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was so attentive, and wished me a happy birthday. They were very knowledgeable about their menu. All of our food was amazing. But dessert is my absolute favorite and I was so pleased to find they had a pastry chef in house, his dessert menu was amazing! We got the deconstructed opera cake and were not disappointed. Thank you coquette for making my birthday perfect!
We did the blind tasting menu. 5 courses which did not disappoint!! We will definitely be back.
Delicious! Excellent service and the food was superb. Casual vibe too.
Charred cabbage.. amazing! Love the whole meal. Such inventive and delicious plates. Service could have been a little more attentive but otherwise loved it and would go back in a second. .
Enjoyed another excellent overall dining experience at Coquette on March 7.
I always love coming back here again and again. The staff is wonderful. I love the ambiance upstairs when I take friends, or downstairs for a more casual vibe. And I love the blind tasting menu with wine pairing. It's not just a meal, but an experience.
We have a list of must try Nola restaurants, checking one off each week. The newest champion is Coquette! Amazing. We let them chose our food and the wine pairings. Best decision. Each course kept elevating. Highly recommend.
Amazing service - very little vegetarian food and not super filling. We ended up going elsewhere after for more food. That said - Our waiter was incredible.
Excellent food and service! We will continue to come back to Coquette.
Thank you so much for another amazing tasting! It was a great way to celebrate my one year anniversary with my boyfriend. We always look forward to dining here! The blind tasting and wine pairing were excellent!
We enjoyed the salad - light and refreshing. The crawfish ettouffe was also quite good, although I would have liked a little more spice. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was casual, but nice,
One of the best meals we've had in a long time. We decided to splurge on the tasting menu: 5 courses with paired wines. It was a lot of food but not so much we felt overfull. Dishes were creative (e.g, cold cauliflower salad, frozen ginger ale as part of the dessert) but not full of crazy ingredients you'd never eat outside a restaurant. Service was attentive and knowledgeable but didn't make us feel rushed. Dining room is a very attractive space in an old, carefully restored building.
Creative and delicious food and flavors, great service, and talented staff. Thanks for making my birthday dinner so special!
As usual, excellent food and service. The crawfish etouffee was exceptional!
A lot of money for very small portions of decent food I could get anywhere . I had to go get food after cuz left there hungry ... not cool
We had the surprise 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was great. We really enjoyed the 2 entrees, the fish and dried duck breast. The wine pairings were very nice as well. Service was very good. Price was reasonable at $100 for dinner and wine.
Atmosphere, service and the food was divine. Short Ribs melted in your mouth. Both the Red Snapper and Trout were so moist and flavorful . Our chocolate Caramel desert was crunchy and so far my favorite one in New Orleans . But don’t miss the crabmeat dip Kwith. Homemade potato chips. Still craving more ! Kevin our waiter just a real pro with a great team to assist . I only wish I lived next door. Not in Cape Cod. Love New Orleans loved Croquette
Great food. Great service
Visiting for Mardi Gras... wanted to get out of the French Quarter and have a nice meal. Booked lunch on Lundi Gras (though they aren’t usually open on Mondays). We ordered the peel and eat shrimp appetizer which were jumbo shrimp and delicious. Then we shared the patty melt with pimento cheese. Mmm. And the fried chicken platter which comes with biscuits, deviled eggs, homemade pickles, mashed potatoes and a cold broccoli salad, also hot sauce and buttermilk ranch. Soooo good! It’s what I had seen on the menu when booking the reservation and it didn’t disappoint. Chicken was flavorful and perfectly fried. The entire experience was great. The atmosphere is nice and the service is great. Very well trained staffed with attention to detail. All employees were attentive and cleared the table when they noticed empty glasses or plates even when it wasn’t their table. I always appreciate that level of service. Definitely recommend dining here. I left having had such a positive experience that I wanted to write this review to recommend to others even though I don’t typically write reviews. I’m very impressed and look forward to dining here again next time I am in town! Please go eat here if you have the opportunity.
Excellent menu and even better fare. Highly recommended.
Perfect date night spot! Excellent service and delicious food.
Great spot for wine, cocktails, and smaller sized plates. Fun for sharing with group
Waiter had no idea that club soda and sparkling water were not the same.
When explaining this to him he’d told us soda was only for use with alcohol.
We did the blind tasting menu and it did not disappoint! Everything was wonderful. The red snapper was beautifully cooked and moist and just wonderful light sauce on top. The roasted sweet potToes also were memorable as well as duck breast and a deconstructed chocolate cake that was sublime.
Incredible value considering this is easily one of the restaurants in NoLa
Being billed as one of New Orleans most romantic restaurants is definitely an overrating, to say the least! The menu is very limited and the venue is very small. The food is way over priced and the quality is less than one would expect. Overall, we were very disappointed in everything about this restaurant. It was one of the low points of our visit to NOLA. The price was outrageous and I can't remember the last time I dined and did not leave a tip except for here. Service is slow and the attitude of the staff is that YOU should be honored to be here. Would not recommend, period.
I was visiting NOLA for a couple of days and loved this place.
Excellent vegetarian options! My wife and I had a lovely Valentines dinner and were very satisfied as vegetarians eating here, which isn’t always easy to find in NOLA (especially for upscale options). We also had a chance to chat with the owner afterwards, and he was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely look forward to returning!
INCREDIBLE!! We took the blind tasting with wine pairing and we absolutely loved it !!
It was a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. Wonderful service and food. The seating was a little close and the upstairs space a little nondescript but everything else was superb. The winter greens salad sounds plain and is over the moon good.
Spectacular food and service! Highly recommend! Chef is a master at flavors and service was wonderful.
The food and service were exceptional. Absolutely loved the snapper and short ribs. Yum!
Did the five course meal with wine and every course was delicious. Loved the smoked short ribs!
1st time. Stopped for dinner before Mardi Gras ball. Great service and food was delicious. Great presentation on salad, snapper and cheesecake. It was perfect!
We had the best time! Deciding to try the blind tasting menu with 5 courses was a special treat. Unexpected flavors in gorgeous presentation...we all ate every bite. The staff was amazing and the room is New Orleans perfection. A MUST do.
we have not been here for a few years. we tried the tasting menu. It was good. However, too expensive for what was offered compared to tasting menus like August. The fist was a few carrots. Good but not impressive. The yams and fish courses were very good. The pork cheeks were too tough for this delicate meat. The chocolate dessert was fantastic, the best of all the courses. Very good restaurant. we will try again. Take an uber to this location, very hard to park around this part of Magazine.
Food is always so interesting. Always an unusual combination of ingredients. They always make the combination come out so good. Wines by the glass are excellent. Service is so good. Staff is always knowledgeable.
