Service was good. My
Wife did not enjoy her meal at all.
Copelys has a very unique setting with great service and the food is very good. Would definitely recommend.
Love coming here each year. Desserts are scrumptious too!
This was our second time back in Palm Springs in 6 months. Both times we went to Copley’s and both times we loved it!!! The ambiance was wonderful, the food was delicious and the service was great!!
From the moment we were greeted until we were wished good evening, Copleys was an unforgettable evening. The restaurant is physically unique. A part of the Cary Grant estate, one can imagine the parties that were held here in the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. The wait staff was knowledgeable and focused on our enjoyment. The menu was designed for every pallet. Try the pineapple croutons. The wine list is fairly priced. Most importantly, the food was excellently prepared and well presented. This is a must go.
Always excellent food and great service.
Great atmosphere, Great food and excellent service. Appetizers and salads are large recommend sharing.
Being from New York City, Copley's was highly recommended to us as a "must" during our visit to Palm Springs. My friend from Palm Springs knew what foodies we were as we dine out in NYC very often. My friend and I could not have been more disappointed as we looked so forward to this dining experience. The friendliness of the receptionist was all the pleasantness we experienced that evening. Our waiter was not the least bit friendly. He did not crack a smile and had an attitude forward serving us. He seemed to be "bothered" that we were there. While my steak was good, it was a very small portion for the price. But my friend's dinner was a disaster. He ordered the lamb (the highest price entrée on the menu, I believe, at $39). The first few bites were all fat and he had to spit them out. Thinking it would get better, almost every bite of the meat was fatty and inedible. While he did not enjoy this meal at all, neither did I seeing how unhappy he was. About one-fourth of the meat was edible. We told the server about it. At the end of the meal, the server came back and told us: "I told the chef and he said that sometimes it depends on the person who is cutting the meat that evening." A very lame excuse indeed! Then he gave us the check. After we paid, he said: "I was hoping you would have ordered dessert because we would have treated you to it." AFTER THE CHECK WAS PAID! Why didn't he offer it to us before he handed us the check? We might have had a piece of cake had we known. No other offer was made for anything for our disappointment. I would never recommend his restaurant to anyone from NYC if they were visiting Palm Springs. Our very pleasant vacation had not ended in a very pleasant way.
First time here. Seated promptly and welcomed with smiles. Great wine list and menu. The soup of the day was amazing as were the mains of beef short rib for me and lovely rare ahi tuna for my wife. Good desserts! Super waiter! Would definitely come back next time we’re in town. Outside seating is cozy & romantic.
Got sick after eating the scallops
All around top notch
Love the setting, food, etc.
My salmon dish was fine, wife’s pasta and shrimp inedible.
Friendly staff, good wine list, poor martini.
Impressed with our first visit to Copleys - The patio is quite nice (dated elegant) with some great seating, and some ok seating - we were in the ok seats up against a back wall with no views. The server (Duncan) was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable, not pushy. The food was absolutely outstanding - I had filet and my husband had Chicken | Both tender and delicious, not very large servings of potatoes or vegetables accompany the meal, so order a salad to share beforehand.
Absolutely the best restaurant in Palm Springs!! We go at least once during our vacation. The food is delicious and the service was perfect. We look forward to it every year.
we’re a couple in our thirties visiting from Montreal, the place was packed and we absolutely loved it
We had the soup and ahi tacos to start and then we had fish, delicious. Staff was also very helpful and pleasant.
Love this restaurant from ambience, service to the food. Alex our waitress was terrific and very knowledgeable and knew her food and wine. The food was terrific from the ahi, meat dishes and scallops. Each dish was great. Love the outside and this restaurant is a treat. The host was very accommodating since two from our party were late. Appreciated the flexibility. Thanks.
Wonderful place to sit in the courtyard and have a lovely dinner or have a cocktail by the outdoor fire pit
High end place, nice outdoor seating. Food eas good but not great. Service ok.
Always great at Copley’s
Excellent for my birthday, as it always is. Great food and service and outdoor dinning is lovely.
Food was very good. The fish was near perfect. The service was good. This is Carey Grants old guest house. We ate inside. It was a bit noisy, but not too bad. I think it is a bit overpriced.
We were here to celebrate a birthday. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and the overall service from all of the staff was fantastic. Both of our dinners were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Outstanding!
Amazing atmosphere. Romantic. Quiet. Beautiful views. Food and service was exceptional. I appreciated the host giving us recommendations on the warmest seat as it was a chilly night. Will definitely go back again next trip!
Such a pleasant way to spend an evening. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Had dinner there on Friday. Got seated in a very out of the way spot that was very cool and breezy. Waiter wasn't very friendly. Food, particularly the sauces and vegetable spices were terrific. Beautiful courtyard.
setting is very nice. my wife loved it. my dinner came 1/2 hot 1/2 cold. the help were very good. i expected more than what we received. we were there about a year ago and as i remember it, it was very nice. this is not a negative, but for over a hundred dollars i expected more.
From the moment we walked into Copley's the evening was perfect.. Very attentive staff and we never wanted for anything. Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and made some great suggestions. And he was spot on. I had the New York Steak and my husband had the Lamb...Both were incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. They also had a corn chowder with crumbled bacon on top (I forget the kind of bacon but it was OMG delicious). Copley's is definitely on our list of favorite restaurants in Palm Springs now.
Filet was the best eat I’ve had in ages. Dario was an attentive and fun waiter, adding to the enjoyment of pur meal
Dined here with friends as a special evening out. We had visited Copley’s many times before, and knew it to be a consistently excellent experience that we wanted to share with our friends on their visit to Palm Springs. We ordered wine and cocktails, all generously poured, and a combination of entrees from both the menu and the daily specials. All were well prepared and nicely presented. Our waiter was attentive but certainly not intrusive, a professional who obviously takes pride in his rapport with the guests. As usual, a great experience.
Wonderful food, beautiful outdoor seating & great service!
We had a perfect dining experience. After a friendly greeting, we were seated on the pretty patio under the near-full moon. It was a cool evening but the portable heaters were on for diner comfort. Our waitress was great--pleasant, helpful, and attentive. My wife and I shared a good and unusual Caesar salad with bacon (requested anchovies) and grilled fresh pineapple instead of bread croutons. We each had the pork chop entree which was delicious. This was our first visit but won't be our last.
Going through the motions. Over cooked salmon. Salad over dressed when asked for light dressing. My wife’s pasta was mediocre
Wine selection an embarrassing lack of interest. Lousy California private label selection and a Kenwood by the glass sparkling wine.
There are so many better options in the desert
Don’t bother going here
Anniversary 29 years
We had an excellent meal, good wine and exceptional service from our waiter, Paul!
Great night with excellent friendly service. The weather was cool but the heaters worked great. We were celebrating my wife’s 61st birthday. The food was really good.
We had been looking forward to dinner at this historic restaurant and were disappointed. We had been here for two Hppy Hours and both were very enjoyable. Dinner however, not so much. We dined indoors as it was a very cool night in Palm Springs. Outdoors may have been a better option as our table felt cramped and the next table was extremely loud. Perhaps we should have asked to move, but did not. Food was just OK. We had to send the truffle fries back three times to get them hot and crispy. The fries were not on the bill.
So, I would recommend for Happy Hour but not for dinner.
Excellent. Thank You. Food was very good. Criticism is one of the dessert item is not a soufflé, just a small lava cake/torte.
We were seated right next to the entry way into the kitchen hence all the servers were continually shuffling by w dishes coming & going. It was LOUD as some silverware was dropped all that noise detracted from the ambiance. Plus the tables were close together and we had a couple sitting next to us who were loud. When the waiter was helping them, his backside was right in our face so that too detracted from our dinner. Tables were too close.
Our service was slow but the primary waiter was friendly and was helped out by other services folks who helped w bread, and bringing out dishes which was OK.
I am hesitant at recommending Copley’s for these reasons and given that it was a cool evening, despite the outdoor heaters we didn’t want to sit outdoors.
Just an OK ( not a WOW) experience.
