Copley's on Palm Canyon
October through June we are open 7 nights a week at 5:30
GREAT ahi tuna Victor the waiter was the the best..
This was a celebration for selling our house and entering a new chapter of our lives, which was very important us, and the evening was very special. Thank you.
Our waiter Victor was terrific along with the entire staff. Copley’s is our favorite restaurant. We have never had bad service or a bad meal. It is always terrific. It is so soothing to eat there. It has a really nice ambiance. We can’t wait until they return the end of August.
Absolutely amazing experience - the food was amazing, and ambiance cannot be beat. Cannot wait to come back to Copley’s the next time I’m in the Palm Springs area!
Our favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. We have had a hard time finding a regular spot we like and this so far has been the only place we've been to more than once. The service is great, and the food is outstanding.
Beautiful location: pleasant outside grounds; room to walk around; dining inside and out; I think I remember an outside bar as well as the main dining room. Inside the low ceiling and handsome decor and low conversation level make for an intimate, comfortable experience. Amiable waiter was cheerful and helpful. I think the biggest mistake was mine: I ordered a steak on a day that had been 117º - it was still over 100º when we got there. Probably not the best choice for the weather. In any event, delicious soup with a strong dose of truffles. Then came the steaks: beautiful cuts of excellent meat, expertly cooked. But mine, at least, was just barely warm when I got it. Must have sat while my friend's meat cooked longer. I wasn't half through my steak before it was stone cold. Came with truffled frites - again, properly cooked - but tasted tired, almost like old motor oil. Maybe the truffle oil had seen better days?
For all that, I'd still recommend the place. Good spot for an intimate dinner. Just keep it simple, be mindful of the weather, and know that the clientele - at least indoors - tends towards middle age and money.
Excellent service and food. The outdoor seating was great, but some additional lighting is needed.
Beautiful setting with outstanding service and wonderful food. The best of classic Palm Springs...exactly how I hoped to celebrate my birthday. Copley's did not disappoint!
Copley's on Palm Canyon is a unique setting for romantic meals, business dinners or special occasions.
The dining room is warm and inviting with wide plank Pine floors and 1940's architecture. The beautiful patio has a water feature and definitely takes you back to Old Palm Springs.
The menu features beef, chicken, pork, lamb and fish offerings and all are prepared with fresh and flavorful ingredients.
This is not "your cheap night out", it's a little pricey and you'll want to savor the experience.
We took a friend for her birthday. Food was great, service excellent and we never feel rushed - it’s a gorgeous setting to sip a good wine or cocktail and chat!
Great Food, Great Service, Great Ambiance along with enjoyable conversation with the boss.
I'm never disappointed! This is my favorite restaurant in California!
Was there for restaurant week and a friends bday. The food and service were both incredible. Thank you for a great celebration
Excellent Service, Great Food. Great Setting, Great Ambiance.
Everything was very nice, but I was annoyed by the paper on top of the cloth tablecloth. Every time I reached for something on the table, my arm rustled the paper. It was actually distracting from my conversation. For a $150 + dinner, a paper table cover was rather insulting. Everything else was as expected from the caliber of restaurant that we chose.
Beautiful, simple, amazing experience. Wonderful service, wonderful food, overall beautiful.
We try to visit Palm Springs around this time each year, and we always arrange an evening to have dinner here . It’s always terrific and this year was even better. Sitting inside is great , but the patio is absolutely wonderful as well. Everyone is friendly and the service is great , and pleasant. This year we were here during restaurant week, and Copley’s menu for this event was superb. It reminded me that’s it’s one of the best places in town to dine. Thanks again for a great evening .
Pleasant to sit outside with the misters. Our waiter was attentive, but the meal felt rushed. The food was delicious & the portions were generous.
Had dinner during Restaurant Week- as always, everything was outstanding
Always a pleasure to dine here. Food, while not adventurous, is always prepared perfectly. And the service is top notch as well. One of my favorite places in Palm Springs.
It was my husband’s birthday. We had an absolutely fabulous dinner and highly recommend this restaurant for its food and service!
We celebrated our 50th Anniversary with you. Everything was awesome, as usual. It was just our "pick" to celebrate the special day at your wonderful establishment.
Be sure to check about whether they are only serving the very limited restaurant week menu. It's limited.
We had a wonderful time during my sister’s visit with our grand niece. The ambiance, the food and the wonderful service provided by Victor made the night very special. The night could not have been more fun. The relaxed and professionalism of all of the staff and the thoughtful care of diners makes Copley’s such an enjoyable experience. As locals, Copley’s is definitely a favorite and we will continue to visit often. Thank you!
A little $$ but the food was very filling!!!
A great spot for outdoor dining. Great food, cocktails, and location.
Awesome place great food and the nicest staff.
Our visit was during Restaurant Week. That fact did not diminish the quality of the food or the service. Alex, our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Short ribs special and the Scottish salmon were outstanding. My husband had the sorbet special for dessert and he loved it. We’ve been to Copley’s several times and it has never disappointed us.
We have wanted to go to Copley's, and Restaurant week provided the perfect opportunity to go. The atmosphere was great and the staff was welcoming and upbeat. The biggest disappointment was the speed of service. We received our appetizer and were barely finished when our main course arrived. My salmon was almost raw and I ended up sending it back. When we had completed our main course I asked that they wait a bit for our dessert, and they accommodated us. We felt rushed and it greatly diminished our experience. It felt too much like a fast food restaurant.
Copley's has been and will continue to be one of my favorite Palm Springs restaurants. The food and ambience are wonderful. However, on this most recent visit we had the worst waiter and the worst service I've experienced in any restaurant. With Andrew Copley's exceptional food and amazing ambience it's hard to imagine him hiring anyone of this low calibre. We had a party of 7 for a very special out of town birthday. To start the evening the person waiting us did not even welcome us to Copley's. The first words out of his mouth were "Who wants a drink"? From there it went down hill. No personality, no warmth, no checking in to see how thing were going. The bus boys had more personality than the waiter. He even spilled red wine on two of the guests. I reminded him mid-meal that it was a birthday so when the dessert came out please light a candle. The desserts arrived and guess what...no candle! His response..."I forgot". He did come back with sorbet and a candle, but the moment was already ruined.
I will return and continue to recommend Copley's. It's a very special place. However, if this waiter continues to be employed there I will NEVER EVER sit at a table he's serving.
Best restaurant in Palm Springs. Food is great, service is great, ambience is perfect and the restaurant is consistently great. I have never had a bad or less then perfect meal there.
Do not miss the ahi tuba but everything else is great.
Amazing in every way. My friend and I came here for Restaurant Week. She had the Caesar salad, which has the best croutons...made out of pineapple. I had the lobster mac n' cheese which was the best I have ever tasted. My filet was tender and cooked to perfection, served with bleu cheese mashed potatoes. So delicious! Dessert was also wonderful: peanut butter chocolate bar, apple pie and a peach creme brulee. I will be back again soon!
My husband came here a few nights ago & the food was excellent, however the service was lacking. Our server Gary seemed to be bothered by us asking questions about the menu & was not engaging at all. When he brought our check, he casually walked by putting it on the corner of the table & kept walking. No "thank you for joining us" or "have a lovely night". Disappointing considering the amount of money we just spent on dinner.
Delicious food. Great ambiance. Great wine list. A Palm Springs treat.
Restaurant week, good value the ahi tuna tacos were delicious!
We have been here many times for different occasions and regular dinning. It is always friendly, good service and great food with an interesting menu.
It was good, fun atmosphere and great staff. The restaurant week food was good, prefer the normal menu. But nonetheless great experience!
As always we had a great time at Copley's! We went specifically to try the restaurant week menu and it did not disappoint! Food excellent as was the atmosphere and service! Thank you.
Perfect evening. History makes for good speculation conversation. Outside dining was so perfect. Plenty of room for our friend using a walker. Spacing between tables allowed for private conversation.
Charlie, our server, was superb. Answered all questions professionall and with knowledge. Food was outstanding; presentation and tastes.
Thank you for a wonderful, special time.
Awesome service, fantastic food.
