Copley's on Palm Canyon
Valentine’s Day. CrAzY weather and lots of cancellations due to rain storm and flooding. We were headed to Palm Springs from Seattle on Feb 14 and couldn’t land @ PSPS so were diverted to LAX to refuel and hopefully make it back to PSPS on the same plane. A friend picked us up (he had CrAzy weather conditions to deal with in that) yet for us home and on the way suggested we call Copley’s and see if they could get us in on our original reservation for Thursday night. Called and Greg answers the phone and said we can make it work, the sooner the better. Ended up having a fantastic evening, met the couple next to us and had some fun conversation (like a real conversation...) the meal and service was excellent as always, our bar-none favorite restaurant not only in the valley (Palm Springs 😳) but period!
It was a fine experience. We were just hoping for more. Food was the biggest disappointment. Perhaps if it was not a set menu, it would have been better.
Our expierence was as wonderful as we expected it would be. Yael greeted us warmly, Alex provided us with a great service and the meal was amazing. Thank you for another great dinner.
Every dish was filled with a variety of subtle flavors, not the least of which were that of the natural
ingredients . The service was attentive but not intrusive. A great experience. Definitely going again!
Food is always excellent. Server was friendly, helpful & professional.
Went here for my 25th birthday. Food was delicious. Ambience was great. Our waiter was so nice. I also loved how they were dog friendly (I brought my 80+ lbs german shepherd)! Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
Delicious food, beautiful place... always a top pick for a special occasion! Love it!
Beautiful view of the fountain and fire, great service and fabulous food. Hope to return in the near future.
From the wine list to the potato corn soup (with or without smoked salmon!), filet mignon and lamb t-bone, to the attentive service and ambience, Copley's customizes your meal, doesn't scrimp on details or portion size, plates the dishes artfully and will make you want to return soon.
Always a great choice. Service, quality and good is excellent
We had a wonderful meal and great service. The setting was so comfortable.
First time and it was excellent. The preparation and quality justified the prices. We tried the fish, chicken, and pork, and all were wonderful. We also ordered two salads, which were literally some of the best dressings and ingredients we've ever experienced. This was a wonderful dinner experience and will definitely try Copley's again.
Superlative food and ambience/atmostphere. My partner didn't like our waiter, though I saw nothing wrong with him. But we both LOVED the food! Each dish in each course was sophisticated, complex, and absolutely delicious. We definitely will go back. Even though it's rather expensive, it's worth it.
(Why is only one star showing above? I want to give this place 5 stars, five stars do you hear
It was great to return to Copley’s Our waiters Marc and Omar were fabulous!
Great service and delicious food! The evening and dinner were perfect.
Geoffrey, was an excellent waiter made the evening easy with his choices of wines to go with each meal. He also took the time to give us a suggestion about getting a good piece of cheesecake since they did not have it on the menu.
The food was delicious and the portions were well-sized. We split a salad for a starter and still had plenty. The service was friendly and very accommodating.
Copley’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Springs and always a must go to when friends are in town!!
Lobster appetizer was nice but had just as much shrimp as it had lobster. Lamb was cooked perfectly and just gamey enough to remind me that I was eating lamb. Vegetables cooked perfectly. Pound cake was warm and divine but the basil ice cream was more interesting and memorable. The whipped cream was light and not too sweet, complimenting the cake perfectly. Outstanding meal. Best I’ve had in Palm Springs this trip. Only would have loved to see more Cary Grant memorabilia.
Always great food, beverages and service. It is a go to for us when PSP. Chef and his staff are warm
We love all the seafood served,
as well as meat dishes and salads.
Vey nice wine list. Great desserts.
Copley’s never disappoints. Good wine list, interesting menu, good service. The only negative was that it was too cold to sit outside - the patio is lovely.
The ambiance of Copley’s was outstanding, low key yet upbeat. Our server was attentive and timely as well as helpful. Our food, scallops and a filet, was done to perfection!
Paul is a great server. Great wine selection and menu choices
Fabulous meal from start to finish with impeccable service. Lovely evening. Look forward to going back next time we visit the area.
Would have been perfect except for very large party seated next to us after we were seated...
Our server, Dario was excellent as was his support staff.
What a treat this restaurant is. Everything was cooked to perfection. I can not stop getting their ahi but the scallops and steak were great from my eating partners. Love the environment and the service.
Wonderful time celebrating our parents anniversary.
Food was ordinary.
Copley's is a wonderful place for special occasions. The food is prepared perfectly, the wine list is extensive, and the service was superb. We ate in the courtyard which was lovely, and brought our little dog along for supper. She was the hit of the evening - among staff and guests, alike.
Looking forward to going back.
Beautiful courtyard setting, the food was the most tasteless I've ever had. The barrumundi was so bland we both sent it back. Our replacement meal, the lamb chop, was cooked to our request which was med rare but was very tough. The waiter was unattentive and the chocolate sampler plate was unappetizing. The mousse was like the film you find on homemade jello pudding. Expensive, SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO ELSEWHERE!
Courtyard is lovely and the atmosphere is great for a date night or special occasion. Food was delicious and the service was great!
One of the best meals we had in Palm Springs. Highly recommend.
Visit with our son.
The first time we went to Copley's it was a wonderful experience. This time was completely off. First off, I think I waiter was either serving too many tables, or had an off night, because he was hard to find when we needed him. When we ordered a second drink we sat watching it sit at the bar for 15 minutes, while we tried to flag someone down to find him to bring it to us. We considered getting it ourselves, but just didn't. My husband ordered his lamb chops medium. One was almost medium, the other was almost raw. Again, we tried to find our waiter to no avail, while everyone else was almost done with dinner. He took it back and told us Chef was in the kitchen that night and would make it right. In the meantime he did bring my husband some soup to eat, which was appreciated. When the chops came back (they did make both fresh) they were well done, not medium. At that point we were all done, watching him eat dry chops. The waiter offered us a free dessert, but we were done and ready to go at that point. Another observation--while the ahi tacos were delicious, and we understand the petite portions of fine dining, two tiny tacos were a little absurd for the price. And, the waiter told us that the salads were big enough to split, so my daughter and her boyfriend did so. It ended up being like four tablespoons of salad each. We would have been just fine ordering a salad for each--it was the waiter's suggestion. So, like I said, perhaps just an off night for all, but $300+ later, we had hoped for the lovely dining experience we had had the last time.
Best place in Palm Springs for a special occasion. Top quality food, great ambience, impeccable service, and a night you will not forget.
I am a vegetarian so maybe this wasn't the best choice of restaurant. The salad I ordered was so small it was barely a "side" salad for $14. My husband's dinner (not vegetarian) was a good size and he enjoyed it. The servers were wonderful. The restaurant area is very pretty at night. There just weren't enough vegetarian choices to justify the prices.
Not much of a menu, mostly fancy food with small portions and high priced. Also did not accept opentable points, not sure why.
Our 1st time here and we loved it! All the food was incredible, great service and fun atmosphere. Couldn’t ask for more!
