Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Kansas City
Wine club member enjoying a birthday lunch. Great service.
Don’t keep pushing wine monthly subscription. Just mention it once.
Great food, great drink, great service. Both chicken dishes we had were great.
The wine is always amazing! I took my daughter with me and she loved the burger and the pretzel bread. I would definitely go back for just the bread, wine and appetizers alone.
I made a reservation for bar seating. I arrived 10 minutes early, and they said they did not have any openings at the bar. It was a Monday lunch time, and I specifically made the reservation for bar seating. They did not ask if I wanted to wait a few moments for a spot to open up. They asked if we wanted dining room seating, and I said that would be fine. They took us to a table in the corner. I asked if we could have a booth that had not yet been bussed, and the host said no. The waiter was informative, but did not clear our plates as we completed courses. We had to pile dishes on the end of the table to get them out of the way.
As usual - everything was really good and up to their usual standard fir sure
Overall VERY GOOD.
The food, expectedly consistency tasty!
I think our waiter needed a bit of cocktail training, but he was "young".
I have yet to be seriously disappointed with dinner here.
I have to say, we were blown away that their Restaurant Week menu wasn't smaller portions of their menu items. The appetizers were full, share with the table size portions and the rest were full size as well. I don't know how anyone could have gone home without leftovers. We sure didn't.
The service was also very good. Our waitress was friendly and conversational. They did a great job of spacing people out so you didn't feel like you were too close to anyone (something I can't say for a lot of restaurants in the area), which made us very comfortable to be out.
The food, as usual, was delicious. All-in-all we had a great night out.
Our server was fantastic. Appetizers came out quickly, there was an extended wait for our entrees. A patron seated nearby was talking extremely loud and it kind of echoed throughout the restaurant. Food was good.
My wife and I went to Cooper's Hawk for the first time. We had had a rough weekend at "Restaurant Week", being very disappointed in a couple places.
Cooper's Hawk turned out to be wonderful, relaxing, great food and exceptional service from Cenecia (our waitress.)
We will definitely go back many times - THANK YOU!
First time there and was very enjoyable.
Went with friends during Restaurant Week. Food and service were both amazing!
Everything was fantastic from the Apps to the main course. I’ve never had a bad meal at Coopers Hawk.
Everything was outstanding. From the expedited seating (we did have a reservation), excellent & attentive service, awesome food. I can’t say enough how wonderful everything was.
Wonderful dinner. Loved the restaurant week offerings and size of our meals.
Service was very slow. We waited 15 minutes at our table before even being acknowledged.
It was awful. I have already reached out to the restaurant. Saddens me, it was one of my favorite date places. It will be some time before I go back...if at all.
Burke was very nice and checked-in on us quite frequently! 10/10 would recommend.
Food was fantastic. Portion sizes are great. Our service started out slow — we waited 20 minutes at the table to place our order. After that, service was fine.
They have big portions and a big menu. Their mashed potatoes are amazing! Everything else that we ordered was also very good.
The quality of food is excellent as well as the atmosphere. I recommend becoming a wine club member.
Our family was finally able to celebrate Christmas the other night. Although the service started out slow..our waitress was very good. She had several tables keeping her busy, but she did a good job of keeping attention to everyone. The food was really well prepared. Only draw back was the COVID rules of 2 hour time frame. Due to the busy nature of the evening we were a little worried we would not be finished with our meals in the 2 hour allowed time.
Recommended, good service! Great food ! Had the lobster bisque, was delicious. Gnocchi carbonara delicious.no waiting took us right at our reservation time.
food is from scratch and delicious! we loved the truffles
Cooper's Hawk is a great local winery with good food but the service is not ideal. Our waiter was hard to track down and the kitchen must have been behind as our lunch took over an hour to arrive.
The dinner was delicious. More food than we could eat in one setting. Our waiter was helpful and friendly definitely a do over.
Our favorite place to eat in Kansas City! If you can get Katelyn as your waitress, you've hit the jackpot. Best service we've ever had!
I love Cooper’s Hawk. They have an amazing wine flight. Their chocolate cake was to die for.
Will be back soon! The menu offers a wide variety and the food was wonderful!
Had never been, but heard raving reviews... Went for restaurant week 2021. Husband ordered the leonard burger. Top patty was extremely rare and bottom was well done. Was cold but fries were hot and very good! I ordered chicken medeira and it was super sweet, chicken was leathery and lukewarm. Asparagus and potatoes were good but also lukewarm. Truffles were included at the end of our meal and they were super cold and hard and starting to sweat. We will not return.
Did restaurant week and it was wonderful! Will be back again!
Great place for special occasions or just great night out with fantastic wines and food.
Impressed with covid detail and cleanliness. Excellent waiter, very accommodating, friendly and professional. Allowed us to sit in the corner by a window with a view.
Went for restaurant week at lunch. Crab bisque was so flavorful! All 3 entrees were also delicious. Chicken Madeira, parmesan chicken and chicken sandwich. We had an excellent server. Food came quickly. Quiet table in the back of upper level. We left very happy and look forward to returning!!
We went here during restaurant week and were very pleased. The special menu offered nice choices at a reasonable price. Highly recommend the crab/lobster bisque! Our waiter was very nice, although I think they asked him to wait on way too many tables. Even with that, he did a nice job and took good care of us.
Cooper’s Hawk is a great place for lunch or early dinner. The menu gives lots of choices, the food is delicious and it just feels like the place to be.
The food was absolutely phenomenal and they gave you so much, too! I also had the red wine flight and they were all so good, I couldn’t choose a favorite!
We returned back to Cooper Hawk's after a recent visit in which we had a delicious meal and great service. This night didn't disappoint either. We had the surf n turf in which we had the parmesan crusted medallions and Ginger Soy Salmon. The food was outstanding and our service Tim W was excellent. Will definitely be back soon. I also joined up for wine club.
Delicious food with friendly service.
This was our first time to visit, and we used the Restaurant Week menu. It was amazing? Our server was very kind and she regularly checked on us. We will absolutely eat at Coopers Hawk again, and encourage others to do so.
The atmosphere was great and the food was great! It was our first time. We went during restaurant week, and we plan to go back!
