Crab-Crusted Mahi Mahi

My daughter and I enjoyed the views but Caesar salad was average but mahi with crab was very good. No bread was weird. Went to this restaurant before Covid and it was much better. Very average. Try harder to get repeat customers. Service was excellent. But average in the food.
Excellent atmosphere and food. We will be back again!
The food was excellent, but the hostess (Lauren) was horrible and rude. Our server was great (Ashley), something came out of the kitchen wrong, realized what happened and immediately took care of it.
Food took 30 minutes to arrive then was cold for the whole table
The entrees were good but it took a long time to get them. The prices were relatively high for Naples
The service was slow. The waitress was nice but was very slow, especially with drinks. The meal was absolutely fantastic and worth the wait. I had the filet minion and even though I ordered it medium well, it was the most tender filet and full of great flavor. The salad was delicious. The muscles were good. The tuna Polk was also very good. We also had the Mahi mahi with crab and that was delicious! The ambiance is beautiful. This is a must visit restaurant every time I come to Naples.
We had dinner with our friends. Outside of the fact the kitchen seems a little slow, we were very happy. It could be that we were a party of 6 and the outside seating and bar were quite busy.
That said, we ate inside where we could see the gulf comfortably in air conditioning. The food was cooked to perfection. We had the steak flatbread which was on a thin dough, not a cracker type crust - very good. We also had salads and either the grouper or crab mahi-mahi, all were very happy with their meals.
Went here for a Valentine's Day dinner. Coast is advertised as waterfront or water view, but it really overlooks the hotel swimming pool, with the Gulf of Mexico off in the distance. The restaurant was fairly full, but not every table, however the service was poor. After being seated we waited more than 10 minutes before someone asked us if we wanted a drink. We were moments away from walking out. Despite the poor service, the food was actually pretty good, although the menu was quite limited, even for a prix fix.
Cool mad men vibe but unfortunately this was a miss. About 8 kids were seated at one of the only other Indoor tables with guests at our early dining hour (with my senior parents). Some kids were running around their table screaming while the hostesses did nothing. No idea where the parents were. Our table while lovely was next to the opening to outside and two of us were seated closer than six feet to guests at an outdoor table. My husband saw outdoor guests get up and move due to proximity only to have the hostess seat another party there. I am used to Naples restaurant prices but it seemed steep for screaming kids and just pretty good entrees. Highlights were the crab cake, grouper entree and asparagus. Waitress did accommodate my mom nicely when her meal wasn’t as described.
Nice, intimate feel for a hotel dining experience. Also has outside dining option.
Our server, Louise, was professional and excellent. The food and view were great.
Disappointing would best describe our dinner at Coast. The service was slow. The waitstaff would completely disappear. Were they somewhere getting instructions on how to serve? The food was marginal. The chicken entree was a breast and roasted potatoes smothered in the same sauce that we had with the coconut prawns. The steak was tough. About the only positive was it was outdoors and there was a beautiful sunset.
We love this place! Great menu, great drinks, great view!
They hadn't been up and running so service was slower, the bruschetta was really good. We were there for happy hour, services was friendly, just a bit disorganized, I guess still from covid shut downs, watched the sunset, great view! Valet is nice.
The service was extremely slow. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks and 40 minutes to get our food. They were not busy either. Looked up at the bar and the bartender was just waiting for her next customer. I think there was a language barrier with our waiter and inadequate computer training. He spent most of his time keying in orders. I think the bartender would’ve made our drinks if she had the order. Food was pretty good once we received it. The gentleman who delivered our food was very apologetic, after I proceeded to inquire to the waiter about our order. Restaurant was extremely loud even though there weren’t many people there.
Venue OK. Servers excellent. Chef awful. Fish waay overcooked, risotto beyond recognition as origin. Salad acceptable. Everything else better prepared at Cracker Barrel.
Worst of all was Prix Fix Menu. They organized as simply as possible and could not execute even that.
A perfect evening. The weather was beautiful and the outside seating makes the ambiance extra special. It was New Year's Eve so they had a preset menu with four entrees to choose from. My wife and I got two different ones and both were exceptionally good. After our meal we strolled down to the end of the pool area where they had a nice robust fire pit going and had a very nice conversation with a father and his twelve year old son. Just great.
The food wasn’t much for the price it was. I don’t know if it’s maybe time of year but we couldn’t even see the sunset from our table. I thought we’d be able to which was why we booked it.
The ambiance and view were amazing. However, the food was just okay. We were there on Christmas Day, so they had a $75 pp pre-fix menu. For that price, I would have expected better food. That said, I would love to stay in that hotel and enjoy drinks and appetizers at Coast!
Everything was fine, The restaurant was empty. We were the only customers in the main dinning room. The service was good beings there was only one waitress.
She did fine.
Atmosphere was very nice, had dinner outside. Excellent service. Appetizers were good, main course was just ok and for the price we were disappointed.
Beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Service was slow but I assume that was due to COVID and a lack of servers and customers. We tried to get a drink at the tiki bar after dinner and despite the fact that it was only 8:30 and the bar had about 6 people at it, they said they were closing early and their attitude was very terse. At the restaurant, the server was nice and food was delicious!
Excellent Fish. Great staff. Great location. Nice facilities.
A very over priced meal at a very high cost. The eggs on the avocado toast weren't cooked well, and the toast was soggy. We asked if they could play music and we got a sharp no response. Just overall the staff seemed rushed and it was not an enjoyable meal. I used to stay here with my family years ago and now live down the street. They definitely are slipping in effort and execution.
Beautiful sunset views!
The steak flatbread was the best we have ever had.
Horrible, the electrical power went down and they didn’t even bother in contacting us to cancel or at least to offer to go to another place in the area instead.
It was my girlfriend’s 55 birthday.
Definitely management needs to be trained to say the least, fired should be the best way for the future of the hotel.
The view was the best aspect by far. The shortage of staff left us waiting for about 45 minutes before our drink order was taken. The menu selection is slim, and I felt the food was way overpriced for the quality/presentation. At best I would return to watch the sunset and order drinks/ appetizers.
Not what I expected :( no one was there, it overlooked the pool. It was nice for a midday apps & cocktails, not dinner per day. The service was very good, very sweet woman. They need to perhaps make it more warm as far as ambiance. It felt strange
Excellent as always
We love Edgewater and Coast! It’s our happy place !
Wonderful meal and of course sunset
My girlfriend and I had dinner at an outside table overlooking the pool the beach and the ocean. We were there before and after sunset so the setting was fabulous. Louise, our server was efficient and friendly. We each had a glass of wine and my friend had a Petrone margarita, which she said was very good. I had the soup of the day which was mushroom brie. My girlfriend had the tuna and I had a Caesar salad with salmon. I was mistakenly served mahi-mahi instead of salmon so when Louise realized that she brought me a good portion of salmon also. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh and high-quality. This is my third time to have dinner at Coast and I will be back
Bartender way too chatty
service slow for how slow it was
prices rather high
Delicious , fresh and blue zone options for our dietary restriction guest.
Hidden waterfront dining gem right on Gulfshore Blvd. The very best sunset spot in Naples. The crowd is upscale and far away.
This may be the town's best kept secret for a quiet sunset dinner away from the madding crowd. Enjoy this old-school establishment in action.
Horrible. The food was not good, bread was brought with dinner. Food was cold and at the end the waitress put our credit card in her bra for “safe keeping”.
Setting with backdrop to water and sunset was lovely. Food was excellent and smaller dinner setting quite nice.
Not what was expected! I booked a table here thinking it was a nice Oceanside spot, but it ended up being inside a hotel (and not a super nice one at that) with a view looking over the pool... Service was very slow, and while the food was fine, it was pricey for what it was. I wish it had been more clear that this was inside a moderate hotel.
Beautiful sunsets, delicious food and terrific service.
