Overall good, but disappointing to hear a male manager(?) berating a waitress out in the dining area.
Our server was absolutely amazing. She came back with the bottle of Grey Goose La Poire to show me that they serve my favorite and hard to find vodka. We were there during a huge thunderstorm and enjoyed sitting outside watching and listening to the crashing rain. I enjoyed the cauliflower and quinoa cake and coconut shrimp appetisers, although the shrimp would have been better if a bit bigger. We had a great time :-)
Beautiful view, lovely ambiance and delicious food. Thoroughly enjoyed almost every meal. Of our group of 6 all but 2 were outstanding. The red snapper however was very dry and flavorless, and the salmon was over done. The steaks were perfectly cooked, the grouper and scallops were delicious, both risottos were fantastic and the brussel sprouts were also great!
Good was way over priced.
Coast is in a Naples Beachfront hotel that caters to sophisticated European clients so the Chef better be up to snuff and he is. Not every dish is perfect but most are. His red snapper in a Macadamia nut sauce is brilliant. The appetizers, particularly the salmon poke is amazing. The portions are large. the wine list decent and the view of the Gulf wonderful. When the Chef goes wrong it is with weird experimental stuff. I ordered a dessert pudding that was not good but we also ordered a chocolate macaroon with mousse that was amazing. The wait staff is warm, friendly and gives great advice. This seafood restaurant is better than any of the better known 5th avenue restaurants. It is comparable to Sea Salt in quality.
Restaurant week menu was very good, with a macadamia crusted snapper filet that could've fed 3 people. Restaurant is basically a part of the hotel lobby, but nice water view & very good service.
Staff was very friendly but service was sooooo slow. Food was unimpressive
Unexpected surprise. Varied menu and vegetarian options as well. Service and am I ace very nice, not the typical hotel restaurant
I am dumbfounded by the words some of your reviewer's use, like yummy and delicious. Where have these people eaten before. Coast is situated in a beautiful location, with very nice views of the Gulf. The food, however, is diner food served at 4 to Five Star prices. I don't understand this as they should be able to compete with La Playa and the turtle club. They do not. Come on guys, upgrade your food and maybe more people will show up for dinner. Use your location to an advantage and take some pride in the food you serve.
Excellent place with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Excellent service and great food. Will return.
The Ribeye was not great but the service and other food was very good.
This is our second visit and it’s been an amazing meal and sunset
Great setting and service - classic/chic beach view restaurant.
We come every year during Easter week because we love the sunset, outside kiddie games, and food. It’s our family tradition! See you next year!!( if not before!)
Went for Easter Brunch. Sat outside on patio which was quieter than inside. Brunch buffet tasty and service good. This is a great place to go at sunset time with the pools lit up and the beach but we enjoyed the brunch.
Food and atmosphere were fine. Service was TERRIBLE. Very inattentive and unhelpful waiter. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
After making reservation on Open Table for Easter brunch, I called to find out what they were having and cost per person. I was told $30 for the buffet. When we arrived, they had no record of our reservation. They did find a nice table for us and we enjoyed the meal. However I was quite shocked to get the bill for $75 per person plus 18% gratuity (for a buffet?) or almost $100 per meal (and coffee and juice was extra!).
Wonderful place with view of the Gulf. The snapper was amazing! All the sides were perfectly nuanced. The service is just as amazing. Our server Brendha was knowledgeable, friendly, and anticipated our every need. 5 star experience!!!!
Enjoyed a cocktail down at the pool bar, went for a walk on the beach to enjoy the night. Went back upstairs and was seated pretty fast. Awesome service and food was great! Great place to catch a sunset.
I had cold potatoes and asparagus with my warm steak. The prices were high and the menu very limited. Service was adaquate. Request outside if you make a reservation.
There were very few tables reserved on Thursday night. We ordered our food and it took over 30 min to be delivered. During that time the waitress only checked in ya 2 times. Disappointing for a pricey dinner.
The restaurant has nice views of the beach and pool area. You can not make reservations for the patio which is unfortunate for larger parties. The food was just okay for the price. Our steak was supposed to be medium and it came out well done. It was very difficult to cut. The grouper was dry and the the potatoes were Luke warm to cold on the plate. The bread and salad were the best part of the meal. We will not be returning to Coast. It is not worth the cost to see the sunset.
We had a very enjoyable evening. It was a birthday and Coast made it very special.
Lovely night. My birthday with beach and sunset views and food and service wonderful.
Meal took forever to be delivered. We were joking that they may have had to catch the fish. On the other hand, water glasses always full. Wine glasses never empty. Our ginger ale guest never was offered a refill. Waitress took our photo...twice! I don’t know whose fault about the late delivery of food.
Yum. Loved the grouper and the arugula salad. Really enjoyed watching the sunset. It was a lovely evening and we will definitely eat here again.
It was our anniversary, so we requested a table with a view which was honored. All parts of our experience was outstanding. The waitress was charming and accommodating. The food and wine were excellent. We chose the snapper and a Washington state Chardonnay. We stayed for the sunset which was a wonderful culmination to our celebration.
Amazing view and the red snapper was some of the best I’ve had.
Enjoyed dinner at Coast. Seated outside and had a nice view of the pool and beach. It was raining but good seats. Service was very good and while the menu had limited options, it was delicious. We had shrimp and crab ravioli and the baked chicken. The gentleman’s Manhattan was very good and desert was tasty; coconut flan and key lime pie. Prices are high but worth the experience.
Will definitely return. Waitress was very professional. When someone ordered a dish served over risotto she explained how the risotto was cooked al dente so she knew what to expect.
A hidden jewel in Naples
Amazing setting for a beautiful meal to start vacation!
Food was just “ok”, not a lot of interesting choices. Based on the location, we thought there would be a water view and/or a nicer ambiance. This was the first place we stayed when we first came to Naples 25 years ago.
Food was amazing along with the view. Can't wait to return!
The food and view are wonderful ! However the service needs a great deal of work. Training for everyone involved would be a great idea .
Coast was very a nice restaurant with good food & beautiful views. However, there was a large communication challenge with our waitress. We had a lot of difficulty understanding her when she spoke and she clearly did not thoroughly understand us because of how she responded to our requests. For example, my friend said her drink was a little strong & requested the bar add a little lime juice or orange juice to her Mai Tai. The waitress brought back 2 limes!! She must have just comprehended "lime juice" and brought the fruit instead of fixing the drink. You might want to stress that she listen more carefully & better understand English. Other than that great experience. Thank you.
Hiorrunle overall experience. We waited an hour and a half for our feed. When the food was finally delivered it was all lukewarm. The wait staff was incompetent and couldn’t split the check equslly 3 ways. They had the audacity to apply 20% gratuity. We will never return.
Lovely dining out on the terrace. Delicious salads. Great service. Can’t beat enjoying a meal outside in the Florida sunshine with family and friends!
Lovely view, very nice service, not crouded was the bigest plus
Don't really want to let this local gem out to get overpopulated like all other dining establishments in Naples
A great place to see the sunset while dining. Good cocktails. Excellent salads. We both had fish, snapper and halibut, well prepared. Risotto the downfall of the meal, gummy, not much flavor. Will still return!
