City Pork Brasserie & Bar
One of our favorite places to go. I've never had a bad meal here, and I know if I was ever unsatisfied, they would make it right. Had their in-house smoked salmon today at brunch and it was amazing. Their charcuterie grand board is always a great way to go, as well.
Father's Day Brunch was hectic at City Pork but our food came in a timely manner and was delicious
Our server was excellent. He knew the menu and gave ya suggestions. He was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our Father’s Day lunch so much.
I made a reservation for brunch for Father's day online, at Open Table. We arrived and were seated promptly, and while the restaurant was very busy, service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Dad had an open faced pork debris sandwich with a poached egg, and I had the pimento & cheese grits with BBQ shrimp.
The staff was really awesome. The food was very delicious. Everything was really great. Just the bartenders were overly loud but being small it does carry.
Pleasant experience as always. So many interesting and creative choices on the menu.
The server was attentive and the food was very good. The menu is varied but obviously pork centric. I enjoyed the Blue Cheese Bibb and Steak salad. My business associate enjoyed the Big Pig. I made a reservation but it was not necessary given the time. Arrive early to avoid potential parking issues.
Stopped by before Bayou Country Superfest for a few small bites, everything was perfect, food was delicious and being able to sit outside on the patio was great. Our hostess was amazing, service was spot on.
Thanks for loving Pork !!!!!
Great food as always!! First time for brunch and like the rest of their food, it was amazing.
Delicious ribs & pulled pork- great sides & appetizers- the waiter was very helpful with extensive beer offerings- great experience!
Food and service are very good - unique menu. Biggest downside is that this must be one of the loudest restaurants in town. Difficult to have a conversation even across the table.
I love City Pork! I go there more often than any other place in Baton Rouge when I visit (which is multiple times a year). Cocktails are great, wine list isn’t extensive but is good, and the menu has so many great choices! I am always conflicted - should I do charcuterie and wine, should I do appetizers and meat, or should I do fish? All have been wonderful in my experience. This time it was salmon saltine for appetizer, and grilled seafood (black drum and shrimp) with a side of scrumptious greens!
Best ribs in BR! Really enjoyed our meal as did the others at our table.
Our waiter was great. He handled our table of 8 with no problems. His suggestions were spot on for what each of us might like. It was a great experience.
We had a good time
We were so excited when we arrived and saw that there was a new menu. We tried two of the new appetizers and a new entree. We have never been disappointed before, and tonight was no exception. It’s my favorite place in town to eat.
Great food want one here in New Orleans.
We love City Pork, food is consistently outstanding!
My friend and I decided to eat there during our girl’s day out and it was amazing!! We sat out on the patio and it was perfect for our conversation and laughter.
Perfect in every way, even if you don't order BBQ. Clean. Bailey is fantastic! Lenten menu served perfect fish with perfect purple rice. House made fries are crave-worthy. Perfect food and people!
Now that I’ve been, so disappointed I haven’t been sooner. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. We went for Sunday brunch with family. 1 teen and one 9 year old was included in the 6 people mix and there was something for everyone. I have to go back. We want to try the charcuterie and cheese boards.
Excellent! The Crab & crawfish Max n cheese is to die for!
Food was delicious, service was excellent, if we are ever in town we will definitely eat here again.
Food was very good. I had lamb chops which were cooked perfectly. My wife had the filet it was delicious and you could have cut it with a fork. Cheese tray for appetizer was unique.
Yummy and interesting dishes. Creative, sufficient quantity and tasty. Service attentive. Everyone ordered different items and all were satisfied. One of our favorite restaurants.
Our waiter was very nice, answered our food and drink questions and made suggestions. If traveling in the area again, I would definitely return.
Good place for ribs. Most foods heavy. Don't go for French toast. Too sweet, consistency all wrong and cold.
Had the filet and it was not the quality ( freshness) I expected. Everything else was Fantastic!!
I was disappointed. Very noisy and food was only so-so. Had the lamb chops, very small and tasteless. Can't believe they are rated number one in Baton rouge for BBQ.
Food was amazing as usual. The server not so much. At one point talking with her coworkers was more important than taking our money for the bill
Great food. Fun casual atmosphere. We enjoyed the steak salad and the chicken fried duck. Noise level is too high but that seems to be most places now. Don’t know how the help can stand it!
City Pork is always a favorite for us. Whenever we have family in town, we take them to this restaurant, because the service is reliably wonderful and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented on the plate.
Delicious! Love the charcuterie but today’s special was amazing- the brisket burger with a Sriracha peanut sauce, pickled onions, and a fried egg... it was soooo goooood!
Dining before a theater event. Friendly server, nice atmosphere and unique menu. Will return!
Good food, innovative menu.
City Pork is reliably delicious every time. My husband and I visited most recently for Valentine's Day, and they had an incredible 3-course menu for the night. But we have been many times previously, always good. The wild boar flautas and the big pig sandwich are not to be missed!
Great food. A little loud as it is one open room but overall great value
This place is awesome and our server Jacob was outstanding, we definitely will be back!
