Cirella's an italian bistro & sushi bar - Bonita Springs

Oh how we used to enjoy this place. Cirella’s held such a special place in my heart. Where else can you get delicious Italian food and fresh, innovative sushi? Going forward, the answer is, not at Cirella’s. Times have changed. To say I was disappointed is a gross misrepresentation of the word disappointed. Restaurant was at capacity and 90-94% of the patrons were indulging in an alcoholic beverage, yet there was only one bartender for the entire establishment. Krissy is a supreme professional, but it was a little ridiculous to expect her to handle drinks for the entire restaurant and bar. Four people in our party ordered martinis and they were served in stemless wine glasses. We were happy to have glassware. The table next to us received their cocktails in styrofoam cups.
Food took forever and was mediocre at best. Service was sub-par due to staffing issues- I know this because our server told us that she went to the ladies room twice to cry.
Most definitely the worst experience I’ve had in a long while
Overall experience was good but we didn’t see the waitress for 15-20 minutes at least a couple of times during the meal, one member of our party requested
a lime for their drink and they got it 20-30 minutes later, and finally 3 of the 4 members of our party got dinner served at the same time and the 4th member got theirs served 10-15 minutes later. We’ll probably come back but you might want to keep an eye for improvement on some of your service staff.
Horrible. They interpreted my reservation note that said “highchair” as “hightop” for some reason. They then told us when we arrived they didn’t have anything else available for us. They generally did not seem apologetic about this. it was absurd that they couldn’t figure something else out. Terrible customer service for a restaurant. Their last excuse was that they are not on open table anymore. Probably because they don’t know how to handle reservations correctly.
Our family of four adults and four children had dinner at Cirella's last Wednesday at five o'clock. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday. The food took over an hour to reach our table after asking many times for it. We had small children, were there early so we could have good service, and were very disappointed. The food was not up to par either. The arugula salad had very little dressing, hardly any parmesan cheese, and nothing special about it. We have had it before when it was fresh and delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs was just ok and the sushi ok too. The table was not cleared and we were fighting with dishes everywhere. There was not even room for the cake when the waitress finally brought it out. We usually love Cirella's but not this time. It was a big disappointment.
Always reliable for food quality. Had an awesome Cosmo too.
Third time is not a charm. This is three times in a row our service has been slow and inconsistent. Not enough servers to wait on the amount of tables they have filled when they are busy. This used to be one of our favorite “go to” places. We will not be returning anytime soon. They had their chance!
We arrived at the restaurant and were informed by the not so nice hostess that we didn’t have a reservation . I made it on open table and she said they don’t use open table. There were plenty of tables available to seat us. Unfortunately her attitude made our decision not to stay. We were to dine at their new location and Open Table said nothing about they don’t use open table at that location. Very confusing and disappointing.
Both service and food outstanding. Best chicken piccata ever plus very good sushi. Nice evening. Highly recommend.
We’ve been to Cirella’s many times. Always good! Doesn’t disappoint. Gnocchis are very good.
we had a great nite w/ friends......rest. was full but service was good, food was delicious and good value for the price....we'll be back
We had guests from up North with us and they loved every mnute
Our experience "exceeded expectations". Would strongly recommend to others.
Good service, good wine, calamari could have been cooked a bit
A bit noisy, but the food and service we're great.
Other than not being acknowledged for a few minutes when we arrived, everything else was good. The hostess kept typing on the computer for an irritating amount of time without saying anything to us.
Sushi was the best in Naples. Food was plentiful ! I highly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy
Delicious food. Veal Parm is excellent, both the cutlet and on the bone. Our server was very pleasant and efficient.
Definitely a return trip will be planned.
The sushi is excellent will go back in a minute drinks great too
This was our first bad experience with service. We waited over 15 minutes before our server came to the table. A server next to us was rearranging tables and dropped several dishes. The noise was awful and there was glass everywhere. Having said that, the food that was served was very good. And once the crowd was reduced, our server was attentive and engaging. He was very apologetic.
I wouldn't recommend Cirella's during this busy season...
We had a wonderful time and as always the service was great!
Cirella's is always a go-to, fun place for us - wonderful food, great service, lively ambiance. Reservations always recommended, as I've never been there when it wasn't full. Every Italian dish I've had was delish - and although I'm not a sushi fan, my dining companions who are say it's outstanding for this as well.
Always good..love going to Cirella.s love the Happy Hour
Everything was wonderful! The waitstaff was pleasant and extremely attentive. The food was delicious. We had a great time. We will positively be going the next time we are in Southwest Florida
Always consistent food and service, a neighborhood family spot.
Still the best Italian Restaurant in Southwest Florida! Always return!
Cirellas is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants.
Good service and great food.
Great happy hour drinks and lots of food choices. Very busy at that time.
We love happy hour at Cirella’s. Good value! Good food!
Our waitress outstanding one of the best friendly and very accommodating
Portions are excellent. Shannon provided excellent service. Our Go To place
Not the first time this season.... hate to say it but, the experience isn’t what it used to be. Cirellas has been our ,”go to” place ever since it opened, but has lost a bit since the second restaurant opened. Table service is not sharp...a waitress actually asked my wife if she wanted a glass for her Prosecco or was going to drink it out of the bottle....happy hour drinks are light....pasta over cooked. I’m not ready to give up on it but am not alone with my assessment.
Always enjoy Cirella’s...love it for dinner or happy hour...always lively. Good food, either Italian or Sushi. Everyone loves Cirella’s
Server was friendly and good and food was excellent. Good value for the money.
Cirella's is GREAT. Never disappointed. Food, service, menu choices always bring us back.
Outstanding dinner for. Food is always exceptional. Noise level loud but didn’t want to wait for outdoor seating.brought new people who were very pleased.
Sushi is always fresh and the portions are huge!! The scallops were delicious.
what a great place. wonderful food and good service
The Sushi is surprisingly good considering it’s an Italian restaurant. The sushi rolls are huge, so be aware when ordering, but they were delicious and creative. It can be very loud during crowded times, So don’t expect to have an intimate conversation over dinner. But the food is so good, you’ll be too busy eating to talk much. :)
