    We went for the summer dining menu which was delicious and an excellent value. However, our evening was marred by the place we were seated. Our table was a banquette meant for 5-6 people - very awkward for just the 2 of us, moreover, it was next to the area that every waiter went past multiple times during our meal. This was very distracting and disruptive. At one point 3 employees held an animated discussion just behind us. The hostesses encouraged us to sit at this table dispute my reluctance to do so. Even our waitress said she wouldn’t want to sit at this table. There were other tables available that would have been in a quieter area more conducive to a conversation and intimate dinner for 2.

    Very good food though somewhat expensive. Service mediocre not great attention waitress seemed unhappy Had an edge to her. No visit from the Maitre d to check on us. Owned by the same people as the bay house where the service is outstanding

    My wife and I each had the three-course summer special, and it was very good and a good value. Our waiter, Carlos, did a great job too.

    service very poor waiter could not tell what was glutein free or not three mistakes with orders waiter not at all attentive food ok but not memorable

    I’ve been attending chops Bonita Springs for at least 15 years. If there’s one thing that you can count on, it’s the consistency of how great it always is. The service is great, no matter which server we get. The food is great. I can always count on them for a great date night.

    We had a wonderful evening at Chops. Alexandria was a terrific waitress. The food , as always, was great! Since I’m a veteran they took $50 off the bill for Memorial Day which was very generous. Chops Bonita Springs is our favorite restaurant in Southwest Florida.

    I have been to Chops many times but this visit was a miss. From the poor greeting as we walked in, to the low quality cuts of porterhouse, to the so-so service - it just was not a good experience. My son’s birthday was not a total loss because the calamari and Caesar salad was spot on. He did not, however, get offered a dessert for his birthday, which is the norm when spending $100 per person. If you truly want to be a top tier steakhouse, attention to detail and food quality are a must. I will come back with fingers crossed, in hopes of a return to better experiences from the past.
