The chef Jose is amazing cooks great and is great company. We request him any chance we get.

Our server was talking to other servers quite a bit of the time so it was hard to get his attention to get more drinks etc. Our party and then one next to us didn't get part of their meal, but since we hardly saw our waiter, we just paid our bill and left. Oddly the was the second time this has happened at Chomps. They raised their prices again btw. The cook was excellent and did a good job with everything. I guess you go into Chomp knowing the cost is going to be huge, but still you'd think they would match it with the same service.

I wanted to give them 5 stars but was disappointed with the bar area. While waiting for my spouse to get to our rsvp I waited at the bar, I figured I’d get a drink. No one ever came to attend me although the hostess went to the back to let someone know I was waiting. If it wasn’t for the great cook at the Teppan grill (jose) kudos to him! for making it a great dinner.

Better than Benihana most definitely! Always my go to spot for a great dinner well done 👏🏼

Waited for more than an hour with a reservation. Did not end up stayed, who knows how much longer we would’ve had to wait to be seated.

I've gone to Chomp many times and never disappointed. My last visit was the best ever.

We went for my daughters birthday and we always have a nice time when we are there. Kyle was our server and he was great and so polite. I truly appreciated that. Our chef was great too. I have a gluten allergy and he accommodated that by using gluten free soy sauce on everyone's. I appreciated that too. My only complaint is the menu changes and the price increase. Especially for myself, with an allergy, I missed out on a couple of the items and still had to pay full price and there wasn't even an option for something different. If that could be changed, then I think it would of been a full 5 stars for sure. I didn't feel like I got my moneys worth. Also now that I know you offer gluten free soy sauce, Im more inclined to come enjoy some sushi. Thank you

So we make a reservation for 7:15 at around 6:30pm which was available on the open table app. I got the confirmation and headed over. When I arrived, the hostess said that they don’t honor reservations made less than 2 hours before arriving... ok???! I kind of put up a fight and they reluctantly sat us down. They give us the menu and leave us alone for around 10 minutes. We picked out what we wanted to eat only for the first waiter to show up and say “we can’t serve any food from the grill because it’s too busy and the kitchen is backed up. It will have to be sushi only”. I was shocked and if that was the case, why didn’t they tell me from when I showed up? I would’ve left and gone elsewhere as I had my 3 year old who definitely doesn’t want sushi. They allowed me to order some fried rice with the food so when that showed up I let my kid have it. We ate some of the food that showed up but AN HOUR later, our appetizer, the kids meal, and one entry still hadn’t shown up. I told the next waiter to just forget it , please give us our bill so we could leave. It truly was a terrible experience.

The music was so loud that we could not converse with people in our own party much less try and carry on a conversation with the people at our table. We asked 4 times to have it turned down. We almost got up and left, but the music was adjusted so we stayed. The food was great but the service was a bit lacking -- to go boxes and the bill took forever to get to us. The price is very expensive and the menu is misleading in saying a 10 course meal, a pineapple slice is not a course.

The sushi was amazing and service was great! Can’t wait to go back

First time at chomp. Loved. Loved. I didn't know a regular baked salmon roll can be so flavorful!

My Valentines date went off perfectly; we show up 10 minutes early and were seated exactly on time.
Starter menu was fantastic, drinks were perfect, dinner was great. Recommended date spot.

They keep raising prices, I think it’s the third time this year the prices have gone up. When I think about going to teppan in the future, Benihana’s will be first in-line. And Benihana’s sucks!

We went there to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday. We sat at the regular tables and ordered off the menu. They got our orders out pretty quickly with only one or two that took a little longer but we weren’t in a rush so it was fine. The food is good and we all enjoyed our choices. Maybe we would have liked a little more participation from staff in singing happy birthday to make it fun. We definitely liked the buy one wine or beer and get 2nd for a penny. Overall enjoyed the night.

We were driving around looking for dinner so I used OpenTable to book a reservation for 6 people for dinner. The reservation was made for a table 15 minutes from that moment (clicked at 6:45pm for reservation @ 7pm). Perfect... that's the power of OpenTable.

We got to the restaurant, kids in tow, and the hostess saw the reservation on their system, but then told me that I'm not allowed to "do that." I was told that I can't book a table 15 minutes before the reservation. I pointed out that OpenTable actually allows just that... which brought me to your restaurant in the first place. When I asked what the problem was, I was told that "it isn't fair" because people are waiting for tables already. I simply said that they should then update their open reservations so OpenTable doesn't offer me a table, but the hostess told me that OpenTable doesn't work that way and doesn't allow them to do that. Uhm… yes it does, that's exactly the purpose: to connect people to open reservations.

I asked her is we should just wait or should we leave... she actually told me that we were better off leaving. Wow. At that point, I said fine, turned to the family and said we need to go elsewhere, but then I asked the hostess to bring out the manager so I can at least explain the frustrating experience.

The manager tried telling me the same story about OpenTable, but he at least told us to stay as he would get a table very soon, which he did. Still a very frustrating experience with people whom are clearly not trained in OpenTable operation. The interaction ruined my mood for the family dinner, so hope that it doesn't happen to others. I'll avoid the restaurant now.

Great experience. They offered some additional noodle options I haven't had in a hibachi-style restaurant before. The spicy Udon dish got rave reviews from our group.

You can order sushi with the Tappan section but you can’t order tappan from the sushi section. Drinks are slow steak and food is average. Good sushi

We at the Teppan table . Food overall was good. My wife and I both had filet & shrimp which were very good. This is the first time I had the Yakisoba noodles and I didn't really care for them because Chomp uses cinnamon which I thought was an odd ingredient. Also, I would like more vegetables and less onions and potatoes but overall the food was good and there is always enough for a second meal the next day.

Food is delish but the wait time to take your drink order and food order is ridiculous. We waited so long and it wasn’t even busy also I order some French fries and they tasted like fished they were horrible maybe add clean oil from the fryer or use different fryer for fries

I made reservations on OpenTable they call me five minutes before where to be there and saying sorry we don’t except open table reservations when they’re busy I said but you excepted it. She said will do the best we can do it we had to wait 45 minutes they took other people in front of us. Took a long time to get waited on, then the waitress spilled two beers of our, not intentionally but trying to carry too many items. the food came out all wrong, Not very organized

Had to wait a bit for our Teppan table but to be expected since we were there on New Years Eve. Teppan chef was entertaining. Service & food were both good. Would definitely go back again.

Our server Kevin was amazing, our chef Lorenzo on the other hand, we had one of the best date nights in a while. He was great. Do yourself a favor and make sure you ask for Lorenzo.

We come here a lot. And we are actually here right now 2/7/20 but this will be the last time. They keep changing the menu and hiking up the prices. Way to much now

We celebrated my husbands birthday. The best choice of foods for everyone to choose from. We all loved the food and the waiter and waitresses were all great.

Hostesses were very rude. Waitress never checked on us. Our food took forever. We ended up just wanting to leave because the service was so bad.
