Even my husband is a believer now. He loved their sushi even though he doesn’t usually like sushi.
First time visitor to CHSC, but we are huge sushi snobs. It is our favorite food group. Despite that self-proclaimed moniker, and tremendous quality of sushi in Denver, the CHSC is a winner!
Their focus on hand rolls and sashimi is really nice. The fish and service are superb. The scaled down unassuming menu and sushi bar is also an enjoyable respite from the overdone hipster scene at the more expensive sushi spots in town.
Bonus that prices are moderate, yet again, the fish is excellent.
We are fans and will be returning regularly.
Great food. Great service.
Probably one of the best sushi places we've been to. Food was awesome and the wait staff was very helpful and attentive
We made a reservation for 7:45. We arrived at 7:35 and stated we had a reservation. We’re told there were 10 other couples with reservations in front of us. Never asked or confirmed our reservation. We ended up leaving.
Great atmosphere, delicious sushi, Brad was super cool, the rest of the staff were just as awesome, didn’t happen to catch names. Will definitely return.
Love this place!
My husband and I decided that CHSC was about one step above dining at a food truck. Food served on paper plates, miso in paper cups, plastic spoons -- just ick. Two young adults working the restaurant, rolling hand rolls in the middle, warming up the eel rolls with a hand torch, did not appear to have any special skills in terms of what you might have had in other sushi bars. There didn't seem to actually be a full working kitchen anywhere. Miso soup was sub-par - I imagine it was an instant soup mix. Seaweed salad pretty bad. Assuming it was dished out of a bulb container purchased in food service. Spicy tuna hand roll was good. Ambience not for me, I would prefer to spend the money at an actual restaurant that isn't creating multiple pieces of trash (paper plates, napkins, bowl, plastic utensils) with each customer. So wasteful and not what I want when I go out to dine. Also, no points awarded at this restaurant and they did not honor reservations - you just show up and sit if there's room at the bar.
Very tasty sashimi that they put their own touch on with a sauce or topping and the hand rolls were toasted and made and served immediately and all tasted wonderful
It is not a "high class" sushi as I thought it looks, food was not bad but paper plates, cheap seaweed and not much drink selections disappointed us. The "chef" was walking around with rolls of sushi in hand, it didn't look professional and made me feel not care to come back. It is pricey for what we get.
Great food and wonderful service. The menu is simple and the food is excellent.
Great neighborhood spot. Fresh sashimi and wonderful hand rolls. Would have liked a bigger selection. Great selection of Japanese whiskey and sake.
Always a great meal and perfect quick location for a casual weeknight catch up with a friend! the staff knows my order by heart and it never disappoints!
Always great food and great service in a fun atmosphere.
Very intimate and amazing! They have a great selection of Japanese whiskey and beer. Will definitely be returning frequently
Always good! Knowledgable staff, and really great food!
Always amazing! Tried the wagyu this time in addition to our norm of almost everything else- so good! Always bringing people here and everyone loves it!
Came here for my birthday dinner and as always the food and service was perfect.
Great Sake selection, fresh fish!
I have always had a great experience at Cherry Hills Sushi Co. Everyone behind the bar is friendly and on top of your order, so it can be quick if needed. Most importantly, the sushi is amazing!
This is our favorite little neighborhood gem! The sushi is top notch with unique offerings. The staff is so friendly and always recognize us when we come in. And the saki is awesome too!
Great place to go for date night. The ambiance was unique and the service was very personable. I highly recommend this place for not only the experience but the great tasting sushi as well.
Love this little gem. Small bar top seating only with great interaction with the staff who do a wonderful job bringing traditional street sushi to life.
Always great food and service. Love the different set-up and atmosphere.
One of our favorite neighborhood haunts that the whole family enjoys!
Never fails to be amazing. Service is great and friendly, food is spectacular. Chili tuna is still my favorite.
The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They knew the menu for both alcohol and food. The food also came out very quickly and is probably the best sushi in Denver.
Cherry Hills Sushi is amazing!
What a great little place. Very friendly staff, excellent food, and service. Small and effective menu that hits on all points including Sake.
This is my favorite sushi spot in Denver!!! We had the BEST hand rolls and sashimi ❤️ I think we have referred this place to 10 people just tonight. Staff is so nice and the owner is so helpful and explains the flight menu / best hand rolls! I will only be coming here for sushi in Denver! Hidden gem, really wish this place was in Rino or Downtown!!
It was great. The hand rolls were tasty, the staff was on top of it, and they sat us early, which was nice.
Always a wonderful dinner at Cherry Hills Sushi Co. The yellowtail and tuna sashimi are delicious.
Go while it is not busy the food is great I made reservations last Friday and it was pointless there was still a 30 min wait that’s just bad business
Great food and wonderful welcoming service! Will definitely be back!
My husband and I frequent this place because it is an easy meet up spot for impromptu dates or meet ups with friends. The snow kept us close to home so we celebrated a special birthday with our kiddos (first time with kiddos). The staff could not have been more accommodating to the boys, the food and drinks were delicious as usual. A perfect family outing
The sushi was absolutely wonderful. It was flavorful and rich plus it came out at all the right times. The service wasn't ideal, though. My server had a bit of an attitude and visibly scoffed at me when I told him I liked sparkling peach sake. I mean, I know sparkling peach sake isn't necessarily made for foodies, but I don't appreciate being scoffed at for liking it. The sushi chef, though, did an excellent job, was polite, and cleaned up our table when our server didn't.
I went to CHSC when it first opened over a year ago, and I loved it. The service was impeccable, but I don't know that I would go back now given the attitude of the server I encountered.
We love this place. The service and food are amazing. Great place for date night, casual night out, or night out with friends.
Amazing food fun servers - always a treat and never disappoints!
