Horrible is too nice to describe the food. The picture’s don’t reflect actually restaurant. They charge prices like a very nice restaurant but in reality you probably get better food at red lobster around corner. Ordered, edamame and came out completely unseasoned no salt or anything.. my son ordered calamari extremely lightly battered no seasoning at all not even salt. We ordered two filet mignon’s one for myself and one for my daughter to split. They decided to split the fillet before they cooked it and just cut the steak in half. Just so you’re clear, not down the middle. They took a 3 inch steak and then cut it in half so that it was only about an inch and a half. So when you order a medium filet mignon, but you cut it down to an inch and a half it doesn’t really create the same type of taste.. not that it even mattered. There’s probably better steak at Walmart. Was poorly seasoned and poorly cooked. My wife ordered the fish and essentially no seasoning.. Our waiter was actually great. It’s not his fault. The food is just so far, especially considering the price if they charge. Feels like a New York City tourist trap. We had so much good food while we’re here. It’s unfortunate. This is one of our last experiences.

The food was good at a respectable price, the seating was pretty hot as the only two seat tables are outside; the service was good until it wasn’t. We arrived early so was directed to the bar where the bartender was less then enthusiastic about taking an order, soon after we got our drinks, two beers we were told we could cash out then ben seated. The busser was quick to bring us water and clear the table throughout the dinner. Our order was taken quickly, the courses placed well. This is when the service went down. We asked the busser to have our waiter come over, instead he took the message that we would like the dessert boxed and the check. After 15-20 minutes my wife went back to the hotel and I had to stop him at the table he was serving to get the check and the rest of our food…

The Chart House is one of my favorite restaurants, going back to the '70's. A lot has changed in that time. Sadly, the prices have skyrocketed. I'm used to Hawaii prices; I live here. But $49 for fish and $65 for steak is pretty up there for a casual dining restaurant, even in Waikiki. Hopefully, this is going toward paying their staff well - a very attentive group, I might add. I'll probably go back, but people should know what they are getting into, so here it is.

Average to below average experience. Started by seating us in a corner table, that quite honestly, should not be used, as it is in a cramped space. Water was brought promptly. Waited several minutes for waiter to come to ask for drink order, but it was somewhat busy, so no complaints here. No bread service was offered, but noted that every other table had received. Food order placed and received in sufficient amount of time, but here is where the dinner goes wrong. Stuffed Ahi was under seasoned and very dry. Poor cooked and poorly presented. Scallops and Shrimp Scampi was drowning in garlic cream sauce. Pasta accompanying the dish was overcooked. I didn’t eat 90% of the dish because of the exorbitant amount of cream sauce put in the plate. Three shrimp and two scallops was all that was included in this $50 plate. Wait Service was acceptable, highlighted by waiter who kept of water and beverage glasses full. Overall, low rating was mainly due to low quality of food, as we expected a better meal for the higher price paid.

Service and ambiance were great, the food was just ok. The prices of the food didn't match the quality of food you expect.

Calamari was tender and opting for the kimchi calamari was a big plus. Poke was spot on!!!

Really enjoyed the avoshrimp tower. Thought the caesar salad lettuce was wilted, parmesan insufficient (though server did bring more). Though our seating was great next to harbor and boats and view of sunset good, we won't be back until after all renovations are completed

The overall experience was disappointing. I’ve eaten at many chart houses and it was always a great experience. While the food was excellent, the service was subpar. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and additionally too long to get our wine order. Our drink order was not right but we didn’t want to wait to get it corrected. I ordered some extra ice and it finally came when our drinks were finished.

Hadn’t been in years. Heard it was renovated. Food and service was excellent. Only down side due to construction work on the building the awning was removed, the sun was beating in and 3 out of 4 of us were sweating.
