Our wait staff was excellent and the food was delicious.
Just glad that they are still here! Support them as much we can!
Brunch was excellent! Great food, service and live music made meal very enjoyable!!
VERY expensive. Garlic steak, at $58.00 was sinewy, chewy and really worth about $15.00 if that. We've had better at Sizzler and Ponderosa. Shrimp Scampi was more like Shrimp Alfredo. That said, service and ambiance were outstanding and we had a great time!
Amazing service, excellent food! Definitely will come back!
Great restaurant, great food, great service.
We love Chart House Waikiki.
Amazing. A must try.
The food was ok not bad for price the wait staff was great . The noise and the sun beating on everyone was uncomfortable . Very tight and hot you could see sweat running off peoples faces . Depends on what time of day when sun is setting too hot to eat.
Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic at Chart House!! As good as home made, BIG portions and delicious!! Mikey the bartender was great, what a character!!
Not updated since 70s looks like . Dirty bathrooms. Not handicap friendly . No air conditioning. Manager is clueless. Doesn’t represent charthouse i have been to in other locations . Wait staff was nice .
Wouldn’t go back….
Great time! Food was on point, atmosphere was perfect! Thanks for the awesome dinner!
The food was good but the ambiance was absolutely terrible. The restaurant is in original condition with the most disgusting/dirty carpet all over the floor. It must be at least 50 years old. The walls and ceiling are all dark brown, dirty and dingy. We love The Chart House and have never been to one quite like this. Renovate please!!! The place is filthy and such a disappointment. We will not be back.
Great service. Nice people. Lamb was to die for.
Best dining experience in all of Waikiki!
Worse steak I ever had. Grisly and chewy no taste. The pasta my wife had was too creamy and no well prepared
We had to ask to order appetizers and never were able to place our dinner order. The sat us in a corner and waited on a party of 10 that arrived after us and were not all there. I was very disappointed as I heard the restaurant was really good. The waiter finally came by and played it off like it was our fault he never asked us for our dinner order.
Food was terrific as usual , I highly recommend the mahi-mahi. I had Cajun style and my wife had the grilled. Both were great. They did mess up our drink order, we got margaritas instead of daiquiris but they corrected it very quickly. One of our go to places when in Hawaii. We will be back.
Everything was amazing but bison came out blue rather than medium rare. However, they fixed it immediately without any fuss. Everything tasted delicious and service was outstanding.
Host - poor greeting of customers (cold, not inviting).
Bar - crowded seating and poor bar service (too distracted by football games to provide a welcoming environment).
Dinning room Service - better. Nice server who did a nice job.
Cocktail waitress got the drink order mixed up and off-timed (two glasses of different wines in front of me (one red, one white).
Salad: Horrible Caesar Salad with calamari. Dressing was bitter and unfavorable, calamari as unfavorable. (IMO: that dish recipe needs to be re-worked - yuk)
Streak and Shrimp - done nice and with good flavors. Mashed potatoes could have been served hotter.
Overall score 5 out of 10. For $120 spent on myself - disappointing and I am not likely to revisit anytime soon (despite being one of my all time favs since the 1990's).
We enjoyed our first family gathering since the Pandemic started. It was so nice to be together again in such a perfect setting. Nice table seated facing the harbor, blue skies, sunshine, and cool fresh air! Perfect ambience! Everyone was so happy!
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! Prices were reasonable.
Brunch menu is a good idea!
Most memorable was the outstanding service. Staff bent over backwards to make our experience so happy. They were so friendly and helpful! You have the best staff and in these challenging times, count yourself blessed! They really went out of their way to take good care of our kupunas and that means you know we'll be back! We really had a great time! Much Mahalos!
Nice view and good location…unfortunately the taste of the food detracts from these otherwise positive notes.
Incredible service, food and ambiance! Highly highly recommend the mahi-mahi macadamia nut crusted with mango salsa. So yummy!!!
The food was even better than what we remembered. Every dish was delicious.
Our best meal in Honolulu two years ago, worst meal on this trip. Horribly sweet MaiTai, nearly undrinkable. Mahi-mahi was not fresh. Caesar salad was warm and wilted. Service was great, as was the ambiance, but sadly the kitchen and bar are going to put this landmark eatery out of business if they don’t clean up their act.
Overpriced menu for the quality of food. Service
We got to the restaurant about 5 PM, and enjoyed their three course early dinner menu. Food was great, view of the marina was enjoyable
The food and drink was very nice, but overpriced for what you got. Our favorite was the spicy ahi poke. The view of the dock at sunset was breathtaking. Didn't go crazy and it was about $100 per person.
Excellent birthday dinner. I had Queen cut prime rib with asparagus and hot fluffy baked potato. My husband had the crab stuffed shrimp. Both food and service was excellent.
We asked for an ocean view and they delivered. It's a little on the pricey side but the drinks were good, the food really good, and the molten chocolate lava cake was much larger than we were prepared for. Delicious, great atmosphere, and really good and attentive staff.
We had the $41 NY Steak. Always good.
House wine (both red and white) is NOT RECOMMENDED
Wonderful food in a nice restaurant. Ambiance was good. We ate there 2x in one day! That says something!!! Service was the best!
Everything was perfect from arrival time to departure time. I did like that a Reserved Sign stating Happy Birthday was placed on the booth reserved for my party (of 3).
Not really impressed. The ambience just missed the mark, super hard to see the menu. A super obnoxious table right next to us. Not that the restaurant could help, but we complained and they did nothing but say sorry. Food was okay but not worth the price.
Current restrictions require all staff & patrons to wear face masks. Our waiter did NOT wear his mask while talking with us & taking our orders. When he did wear his mask, it did not cover his nose. Assistant server David was excellent, friendly & wore his mask at all times.
Also, hostess told us we could buy the gift cards, receive the bonus advertised and use the gift cards for tonight. When we tried to do this when our check came, Nalu said that could not be done. Two staff members, two different answers. Disappointing.
Celebrated our Anniversary with a weekend Staycation in Waikiki. Started the weekend off at Chart House and it was awesome! Felt like vintage Waikiki with an updated flair. Good food, drinks and live Friday night music (with the awesome service) made for a great kickoff to our weekend. Mahalo, Mahalo!
The food is good. Sunsets are remarkable. Waiters are prompt and attentive. We go there on every trip to Hawaii.
