I had a great brunch with my girl friends! The bottomless mimosas were impressive! The only minor issue I had was that my drinks were a little inconsistent, but still yummy!
Way, way to hot in the restaurant. Food and service was excellent, parking was difficult.
Food was great. Drinks were great. Didn’t seem like the air conditioning worked so eating spicy foods really got ya sweating.
I made a reservation a week ahead. When we got there we were seated outside, we requested to be sat inside. But the server said that those tables were all taken already for reservations?! When my husband went to use the restroom he had to walk through the dining area, and he said that there were sever empty tables inside. The food compared to the last time we were there was disappointing. Probably will not be visiting cask again.
Excellent staff, and neat brunch menu. Bottomless mimosa price was a surprise for my friends, but I had the spicy Bloody Mary - loved it! Will definitely go back.
Generous portions, great food flavor. Enjoyed our anniversary brunch!
I ordered a mojito and got a margarita. Then they were out of mint for the mojito and the drink I did end up getting was fair at best. My husbands drink was so watered down that he couldn’t taste the whiskey. The food was just ok. I was expecting more and was disappointed.
My first time here and I have wanted to check it out for awhile. Glad I did. Their food was amazing. Definitely show up early to get seating or make a reservation.
Great service and awesome food, such a cute aesthetic.
Simple menu with great, quality food and drinks.
Great food and sitting on side of deck away from DJ was good when trying to enjoy Fathers Day brunch. Highly recommend
The food and service were great. I was overcharged for the drinks but didn’t realize it until we had already left. The prices were $2 less per drink on the menu price. That was extremely disappointing
I will start by saying that our server was amazing. She was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of.
However, the food and quality was VERY subpar. First, it was VERY warm indoors, I was wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt and was sweating while drinking ice water. Second, the bottomless mimosas were awful. They charge $20 for plastic pitcher full of OJ and you can't even taste the champagne. They also only have OJ and no other juice options. Next, the food is was terrible. We were a party of 5. I ordered the Benedict with steak and the it had no flavor and one of the eggs were fully cooked and not runny. I had to add salt to my food. The salmon flatbread and the egg bowl tasted processed. The mushrooms in the egg bowl were definitely canned as well as the salmon- not fresh at all.
For South Tampa, this is a bad experience. We were not happy and had a disappointing Father's Day.
Reservation was confirmed in advance, yet when we arrived the hostess could not find. We ended up being seated outside near the bar and DJ which was not the original plan.
Food was mediocre at best. Eggs Benedict had to be sent back since one egg was overcooked and 'hard' and the other undercooked and 'raw'. The second plate was also undercooked and 'raw'. Chicken and Waffles, which was recommended was fair and served cold.
Went to Cask for brunch to celebrate a birthday and Father's Day. We were seated promptly at the time of the reservation.
We had been here before and had high expectations based on previous visit and liked the menu. Unfortunately, this visit fell short.
Biscuits and gravy: gravy was delicious but biscuits were crunchy - like they had been overcooked.
Crab cake benedict: eggs were not prepared as per order. Replacement eggs didn't come until we were finished eating. Hollandaise tasted like a sour cream sauce.
Chicken and waffles: OK but warm, not hot.
Steak benedict: steak was tender and cooked to order but the english muffin did not appear to be toasted and the hollandaise tasted like sour cream. It just wasn't right.
So while nothing was terrible it was only so so and a disappointment based on our previous, very good experience. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen but I'm not sure we'll return.
I’ve been here a few times pre-covid and it’s been good. But our first time since the pandemic was not great. Mid June dinner date, the AC was broken. So it was miserably stuffy in there. This is really unacceptable in Florida! Either close while it’s getting fixed or call people with reservations and let them know! The menu is much smaller and less diverse as well. The food was ok, the drinks were weak and tasteless.
Been a while since ive been here. Food, drink, and service was great. Amd they graciously brought out water for the puppy. Recommend.
AC was working and it was hot
I've been to Cask a few times. I came with a group for the first time and the food and service was just not the same. I'd still recommend, but was surprisingly disappointed.
We did the bottomless mimosas, they were warm, and it was like 85° inside which is miserable when it’s 95° outside. Food was delicious, accurate, and very quick for how busy it was. Making a reservation was very smooth too, our table was ready for us when we got there and it was packed.
It was amazing!
My main reason for going to cask was for bottomless mimosas. I had went a year ago, and they served them strong and frequently. This time it was not the same at all. They brought a pre made pitcher that was 90% orange juice. We ended up paying 25 dollars a bottle for 4 bottles of champagne to mix with the mimosa/straight orange juice pitcher they gave us. Probably won’t go back.
Our first time to try Cask. Parking was easy, our table was ready for a party of 8, our food came out quickly and it was very reasonably priced! We did brunch and we would eat there again!
My favorite restaurant in Tampa!
Overall, I had a good experience at Cask. It was my first time there! The food was great! And our server Marley was amazing!! Very accommodating. I would definitely go back and request her! She's great! The only issue i had was, I felt like my friends and I weren't treated right with regards to seating. We arrived right on time for our reservation, but as so many know, we didn't because it was our first time..., the parking was not the best. So I had my friend and her boyfriend go inside to let the hostess know that we were here. And I thought they would be seated. It was only 4 of us and normally most places seat half of a party.... It took my husband and I maybe 10 minutes to find a parking spot. Once we did, we came inside and I was confused as to why my friend and her boyfriend were still waiting... She told me they said, we couldn't be seated until everyone in the party arrived. She also told me, she had mentioned to the hostess that we all drove together and that the other half of the party was only parking the vehicle. Apparently that didn't matter. We were seated. But then we noticed two parties who were seated and their full party was not there either. First it was a party of 6, only 2 were seated. The rest of the party arrived maybe 15 minutes later... Then another group which were only 3 people sat down... And I thought that was their full party, I look up like an hour later and 4 more people arrived to sit in their booth... I just thought that was interesting. I am all about fair treatment and I just hope the rules were not changed because their race was different from ours... We made this reservation a month ago, and were so excited to try this spunky place we had been hearing great things about! But the seating situation really put a damper on the overall experience... I understand all restaurants and places of business have rules... I just hope discrimination didn't play a part in how our experience started out..
The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous however the staffing seems to be inadequate. Employees are all running around frantic even bumping into guests. Normally a limited menu is a good indication of higher quality meals, this is not the case at Cask. The chicken may have a nice crunchy batter but it is extremely dry and all the unique combinations such as sauce / dressings and sides seem to miss the mark on flavor.
We went for brunch to celebrate our son's graduation. The food, it's presentation and portions were good.
Super cute restaurant had really good music playing. Everybody was very friendly and my waitress Jill was super awesome can’t wait to go back and try more off their menu.
The ambiance and food was amazing. I had the chicken and waffles . The chicken was over cooked but even so , I would return back again. Very friendly staff.
Not enough servers. Food took 45 minutes to arrive
Although the menu is small our food tasted well. They would benefit from adding some regular appetizers to their menu — a spinach dip or something that people want to actually eat. The Nashville chicken was delicious. The service was good before our food came out, then after we couldn’t find a server to save our lives. Tables should be pre-bussed throughout the dining experience, which did not happen. Servers should also check on tables after the food gets delivered to ensure everything tastes okay, drinks topped off, etc — did not happen, without having to flag a server down. One server was on her phone, walking fast through the restaurant. I’m sure it wasn’t a business matter. That was unprofessional. Overall it was an okay experience. Only ended up here because it was the only place that wasn’t booked on a Friday night in South Tampa — now I see why.
Destiny was great!!
It was so noisy we couldn’t carry a normal conversation.
The food was outstanding, service very friendly! Will definitely be going back!!
I was so impressed with the ability to swap out items on the menu!
My friend ordered chicken and waffles but asked if she could get pancakes instead of waffles. The server said yes and that the chef was ok with, not all, but most swaps!
Host had a terrible attitude. The menu was incredibly small (maybe 6 entrees to choose from) and half of the menu was sold out. I wouldn’t go back.
Went for a Mother’s Day Brunch and the service, food and atmosphere was amazing! I’m never disappointed, Thank you for being consistent!!
The food was delicious and the service staff were all very nice!
Great service and great food!
Very nice evening due to Covid however may be warm add sitting outside may be an issue. So after sundown would be better
