Really enjoyed our lunch on the patio on Saturday. We had the place pretty much to ourselves for most of the meal. The food was really nice, not traditional Mexican but quite good. Quite a variety of fun margaritas! Casual but upscale. I will keep this on my list of places to dine in Clayton!
Lots of sirens, kind of noisy, but can't do much about that.
Under-staffed and over-booked. More than 30-minute wait for a server. I’m sure the staff was doing the best they could; but no one appeared to be actively managing the situation.
Food was great
Looking forward to them getting back to their typical high-quality service soon
Hello Michael, thank you for your review. We are sorry that you had that experience. you are correct, we are understaffed and we had a surprising number of guests in addition to a large party and could not keep up. We are endeavoring to find sufficient staff but it has proven a slow process. We look forward to seeing you again, and hopefully we will once again be back at a proper staffing level.
Service was great, G money was fantastic.
Drinks were great.
However, the food was terrible Saturday night.
I work across the street and eat here often.
Two of us had pescado and the fish or sauce was rancid.
Another the fish taco and way over cooked.
The cabbage, mango and other veggies hard & chewy.
Others had fajitas that were better but way over cooked.
I’ll be back, but hope it was a one night happening.
Hello, we are very sorry that your experience was disappointing. May i ask who is "G Money"? We don't have any servers whose names begin with G and do not allow Servers to use nick names at work.
Great restaurant, great food friendly workers. Meals were better than expected. Recommend the mango flange for desert. I took my fiancé here for a date. The menu is moderate, but I prefer quality over quantity. We spent near $100 including tips, Price A lil but up there, but worth it.
Our waiter was very attentive and did a great job. Our margaritas were very good. The ceviche was awesome! Our main entrees were ok.
Excellent food and an excellent server
Visiting our son at WashU for the weekend. We all had fajitas and they were very tasty. It’s a great upscale alternative to busy, noisy El Burro, another nearby Mexican restaurant.
Great service and food. We had drinks at the bar and ate in the dining room which was a bit more secluded.
Great meal from the chips and salsas (one nicely smoky and the other perfectly spicy) and the made to order guacamole to the tacos and quesadillas. Service was pleasant. Just a little slow given the lack of a crowd at lunchtime. All in all an excellent experience. Will certainly return.
Service was great, food was good but not as good as previous time. House Margarita delicious.
So good! I would totally go again. Nice people, good food, great environment!!!
Halibut was excellent! I cannot say enough about the exceptional taste of the sautéed halibut and mango salsa. We also received great service. Thank you very much.
Lights off in most of restaurant. Superbowl Sunday almost felt like they were closed
Love their Sunday brunch with the complimentary Bloody Maria's.
Love their brunch with the complimentary Bloody Marías.
We partook in Restaurant Week. The food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. We will return.
Overall pretty good. The specials on the menu are pretty good
Cantina Laredo is OK. Unfortunately not many great options in st. Louis for Mexican food.
I made a reservation in advance and felt silly when we arrived and the restaurant was nearly empty! Paris was very friendly and attentive until the restaurant began to fill (including a party of more than 15). Unfortunately, I’m afraid he had too many tables to continue to be attentive and the kitchen was unable to keep up. There were five of us and 3 of us were served food that was literally lukewarm.
We have dined here several times in the past but definitely will need to forget this experience before we return again.
Nice atmosphere, quality service and excellent food! We especially enjoyed the table side preparation of our customized guacamole, which by the way, was amazing!
We decided on this restaurant for New Year’s Day. Food was amazing. Service was great. We will return!
Wonderful time as always!! Elyse was great!!
Server were top notch. Great margaritas. Excellent food. Adult Mexican. Sophisticated Mexican.
Great venue and food for the price point. However, I have yet to have a good experience with service. Three dining experiences and each time was mediocre to poor service. Thank you.
Nice place, good food, friendly and efficient staff.
Water boy was a bit feisty
Waiter was good could of checked on us more
Great tableside guacamole. Wonderful frozen margaritas, and fabulous entrees. Thank you for a great experience...again!
Really loved the food.
Very slow service despite several requests for assistance.
Went specifically for the tableside Top Shelf Guacamole but would rate it just OK - nothing outstanding. Chicken fajitas were similarly fair - very skimpy on the green peppers. Happened to luck into Wine Wednesday so bottle was half off, making it a good value. Would not go out of my way to go back.
Great experience for kid’s birthday. Our waitress was outstanding.
Good food and service.
It was great, a little loud.
Very good food. Delightfully fresh and prepared. Take a break and try this fabulous place.
Relatively average or slightly above average Mexican restaurant. Ambiance was nice and our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was fine but nothing special. I would go back for a casual meal but would not go out of my way.
Expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants. Small portions. Tiny margaritas. Service and ambience was OK.
Overall satisfactory. Good price for the quality of food. Top shelf guacamole is a must; beef plates are all very good; shrimp dishes not as good. Waiter was nice but mixed up orders twice.
It was freezing inside - other than that, good as usual.
One of my favorite restaurants- however I probably will not go back on my own accord. It took an extremely long time for our drinks to come, plus the waitress had to come back to our table twice to let us know they were out of Coronas and Blue Moons. Waitress seemed very busy and apologized for the wait, and I have served before so I understand a busy night. It was just not a great experience to take my friends for a birthday dinner. The experience killed the vibe for the evening.
