Cabezon is a bustling neighborhood seafood bistro and fish market. Opened in December 2009,
Cabezon is located near both Portland’s Hollywood and Rose City Park neighborhoods. Offering
“Coastal Cuisine with Passion” – elemental seasonal cooking driven by the offerings of the day
from local producers and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Owners, Chef David Farrell and

Cabezon consistently has excellent seafood prepared creatively with lots of different complimentary flavors.
The side room is quietest. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

We had high expectations but...meh...super salty food, so-so service, won’t go back. Too much dressing on Cesar salad - way too much, small amount of seafood in cippino, burnt crust on beet tart, blinis bland, olives ...probably from olive bar at Freddy’s ... didn’t stay for dessert.

This was our Valentines date, one day late. We started off at the bar for cocktails waiting for our table. The martini was incredible, along with my Old Fashion. Once we were seated, the staff gave us enough time to talk and look at the menu, when taking our order, the staff was very knowledgeable about the foods, and very personable and professional. This restaurant has a well put together menu, great wine list, Excellent staff, and the music played was upbeat, and loud enough so you could carry on a private conversation, and still enjoy the music. I will recommend this to all my friends and family coming to Portland, and will definitely be dinning here again.

Terrific find in Portland. I met my wife here for a day late Valentines Day meal (I was out of town on business). Excellent food, excellent value, and excellent service.

This has become my wife's and my favorite restaurant. For us it's a local gem. We both love seafood and the preparation here is inventive and always delicious. I would recommend Cabezon to anyone who appreciates fine food at a very reasonable price. The service is also wonderful.

we go here a lot and every time it is awesome- the Lamb is excellent and most of the fish dishes are amazing - the Manhattan's are the bomb... we use Cabazon as the yard-stick to measure other restaurants against. The food is consistently top notch - the bread is great (and they don't charge for it) - the services is always friendly, and the place is not a scene, and its quite.

The cioppino had a light broth FILLED with crab legs, shrimp, fish, shell fish, octopus -- ALL cooked PERFECTLY. We shared the chocolate pot u crème -- the most deliciously decedent chocolate dessert ever. We love this local place and return once or twice a month. Absolutely worth the trip.
