   What a lovely place to sit and enjoy a delicious meal! The decor and ambiance were the first thing I noticed. Good lighting and quite cozy and welcoming. The food and drinks were also amazing. I would certainly return!

   Always delicious and perfectly prepared, one of our favorite restaurants especially for special occasions. We had the beet tart (could have eaten two of those, it was so good) and the patê plate which was a generous portion and perfect, according to my husband. The striped sea bass was excellent - flaky and moist, with a crispy skin, couldn't have been better, accompanied by nettle gnocchi and roasted cauliflower. The steak was cooked to perfect medium rare, tender and flavorful, with Yorkshire pud, roasted veg, cherry jus... And the imaginative and tasty desserts never fail to put an excellent finishing touch to the meal. Service is attentive and helpful, the cocktails are fun, the vibe is friendly, homey but polished. We walk out feeling pleasantly stuffed and satisfied!

   Cabezon is a gem! Both the food and wine menus are thoughtfully created. The service is friendly and not rushed. One of Portland’s finest restaurants!

   The food is fabulous, you can order with confidence anything on the menu. Our server was super, and took great care of us, a group of six. Our only criticism--if you can call it that--was the noise level. People were having a great time, which was amplified by the wood furnishings. We are boomers; our hearing isn't what it once was, which can make cross table communication challenging. Nonetheless, the menu alone will bring us back.

    I always have a great experience at Cabezon, and this was as good as any. The service, the food (from oysters to pot de creme), the drinks, all excellent.
