I have never been disappointed at Byblos. The meals are delicious, my favorite is the salmon, and the service is always impeccable. It’s a very stylish restaurant too.

The service and ambience was excellent. Our reservation was for 7:30 on a Saturday evening. We were seated promptly by the hostess and all the employees were very nice. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu explained the options/substitutions. Overall the food was good. Some of the dishes could be improved. I worked at a popular Lebanese restaurant of the same name in northwest Ohio for 14 years so my opinion might be a little biased. The kibbis were excellent but the hummus was bland (needed garlic and lemon). The kafta kabob was dry and lacking parsley and seasoning. Also, I prefer lamb kafta and this was beef. The chicken kabob was ok but both kabobs would have been better with onions and peppers . The basmati rice was just plain rice, mixed veggies were steamed so the zucchini was soggy and way too many carrots in the mix. The fatoosh was just a romaine salad with a couple of grape tomatoes, onions, cucumbers (missing bell peppers) and a lemony garlic dressing. The dressing was very good but it was missing the sumac and toasted pita chips. The veggie grape leaves were tasty but would have preferred lamb (not on menu). We will make a return visit and try something different next time.

The atmosphere and the food were very pleasant and delicious. The waitress's service was excellent, always attentive and on time for everything.

Food was amazing! Be ready to eat as the kitchen is fast here, but quality is still superior! Lots of great eats, we had the grape leaves hot and sour eggplant, octopus and the gyro, followed by baklava. Order the fig martini! We also enjoyed the Lebanese white wine selection.

Lazo (our server) was wonderful! He made us some Lebanese iced tea that was so good! I had the keftahs which came with a generous portion of vegetables. My son had the bronzino which was served whole and was delicious. The grape leaf appetizer was lovely as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will ask for Lazo again:)

I love Byblos. One of the few places my whole family likes. I think they have the best hummus. My only complaint is I miss their family meal to go. It was monthly staple at my house and came with all that we wanted in one order. Now I have to order separately which can be a little more difficult. I do love this as a lunch spot with friends.

We went for lunch on a Sunday. They had their Brunch menu, but you could also order off of their regular menu as well. Our first time there, very nice place, very clean, looks nice, nice bar. We ordered their "Taste Of Lebanon for Two" hummus | baba ganoush | labneh | tabbouleh | falafel | dolma | kebbeh | Shish kabob | Chicken kabob | Kafta, so we could try lots of stuff. Please note, my wife is Lebanese, so.... Everything was fresh, and hot, it all looked lovely. Most of the items were really delicious, and my wife was quite impressed. Personally I found the beef to be undercooked (rare), and the Kafta to be a bit under-seasoned, but definitely one of the best falafel I've had, the labneh and Hummus was fresh and full of flavor. But their Garlic paste was VERY mild, WAY too mild. But the Chicken and other meats were tender, nicely grilled with nice grill char flavor. My wife also had the Kebbeh Nayeh (Raw Kebbeh) which I'm not a fan of, but she said it was excellent. All in All, I'd say it was worth the trip into Tampa. Give it a try!
