If you expecting decent Indian food for the Wednesday summer special menu, you will be disappointed. The meat-heavy fixed menu has little flavor and virtually no spice. Although, the Ritz certainly knows it’s customer base because every table was taken. So maybe we just had high expectations. We were hoping for something a little more authentic and palatable for the price. The service was exceptional and more than made up for the food.

We did the pop up Indian dinner event and it was absolutely wonderful. While this one is wrapping up in August, I sincerely hope the Ritz continues these pop up dinner options with unique menus. It's a wonderful way to try something unique and different!

Visited the restaurant for the 5th time over last 3yrs Great place for meat lovers ! Pricy, but good. Huge side dishes (definitely to share). We shared the vienna schnitzel (16oz plus breading). The breading is thick and more dense than in Austria or Bavaria. Tasty sauce and some mushrooms with it. Somewhat disappointing that this $72 dish does not come with charred lemon that has a cloth strainer to keep the many seeds from getting into your meal. Friendly service, good drinks selection.

Our server was so sweet, but we had a lot of issues with our meal and no consideration extended. The team forgot our daughter’s cheeseburger, but when it finally came it didn’t have cheese. We ordered the chili and the team forgot the sour cream requested. We asked to split the bison burger, but the team sent out the double patty, so we had to send it back and wait for the correct dish. For the price of the meal and a specialty drink being requested as a double and costing over $40 each (charged us $19 for a shot of tequila to make the Alpenglow a double) you would expect a little more attention to detail or some consideration when we had something go wrong on every dish ordered. Not a great experience this time, but we do love the Bison Burger with truffle fries! It’s a must!

Loud, overpriced and poor quality. $36 for a Caesar salad lacking in dressing and taste. My partner had to give me half her chicken given the scarcity of it in my dish. Go for a drink, don’t eat.

Like all ski resort experiences since the pandemic, more money for less everything. Soda machine didn’t work for the kids, they were out of bottled water, cocktails were meh and started at $28. Wine list is mediocre. No salt on any of the kids’ food. Salads were super overdressed. All just ok for exorbitant prices. Used to be a sure thing. Wouldn’t bother again. Polite service but not efficient and had to explain too many things we were ordering.

Food was good but the waygu beef that is $58 per oz was very fatty. While tasty I don’t want to spend that much on fat. Strip steak was ordered medium and was very rare so had to be sent back and server was nice but didn’t pay attention too well and food came out in an order we had requested differently even after she clarified it. Overall things were good and fixed but for a restaurant at the Ritz and prices paid I expected more

Everything you would expect from dining in a Ritz property! Our sever Jose was outstanding. Jerry head of the house was stellar as well. Food quality was top notch. Highly recommend. We dined as a family of 4 coming off the mountain for a nice lunch. Would recommend for a leisure lunch for sure!

Salad came out at the same time as the main course (salad should have come out first so the main wouldn't get cold). Cocktail was diluted by standard small ice cubes (not elevated or memorable given the price of the cocktail).

Obviously new it would be pricey but the experience fell well short of the price. $72 for a dried out schnitzel with no sides. They had live music in the lobby and were playing airport type background music in the restaurant. We could here both at are table which was bothersome. We asked if they could turn off one of the two musics and they said it wasn’t possible. Would have been a fine meal at a courtyard inn but did not meet the expectations and price point of the ritz.

Very disappointing. We ordered an 8oz filet, medium temperature. It came out like a cold hockey puck with a dry but deep red center. I’m not sure if you could even say rare given it was so dry, perhaps it was cooked at lunch and let sit for the rest of the day. I did feel the need to send it back, which I typically avoid at all cost, but for the money I could not just leave it. The $20 truffle fries were also served cold and the Caesar had very little dressing. At these prices, the food and service expectations are high and both fell way below the mark. I’m really surprised that this restaurant continues to operate other than the fact that it’s clientele are a captive audience from out of town and do not know any better. Got me once but never again, the Ritz should be ashamed. In summary, bad food, subpar service, and exorbitant prices - you’ve been warned.

The Mac & cheese was literally watery. Truffle fries not hot. Not enough dressing on one Caesar. Water glasses and soft drinks not refilled. Really just not up to Ritz level. Disappointed.

We’ve eaten here many, many times over the past three years…including at Christmas. The prices this year are ridiculous. I know it’s the Ritz, but you need to have some reasonably-priced items. My favorite grain bowl is gone. There is only one veggie item on the menu. There is no chicken dish. There are no specials. The portions are enormous. Make the portions smaller and charge less. The service is always good. The food is good, but it’s supposed to be casual.

Horrible service. Just one example: I ordered soup, which was served with no spoon. My soup was cold before I got a spoon. Thanks to the disorganized staff, I finished dinner with six spoons. It's loud -often with music playing through the sound system and a bad live performer from the bar, service ignores you, food is wrong/cold/late/ruined (e.g., melted ice cream), and it's really overpriced for average food.

The service at Buffalos is first class. The bartenders were amazing. The food was great, although we learned that they just changed over to a steak concept, which didn't work well for pescaterians. The food we did have was great. We started with their pretzell, which is one of the best I have had...you have to try one. The trout was very tasty and the brussel sprouts were excellent. The cheesecake was also wonderful. Now for the adult beverages. The rum old fashion, the wine, and gin cocktails were all top tier. The ambiance was a mixed of spots bar and fine dining, with adults on date night and full families with little ones. Noise was medium. This is definitely a place you should try.
