Bruno's Italian Bistro
So glad to have found this place! Loved it!
Great food. Service was wonderful! Really enjoyed our evening! Thank you
Great food, great service. Followed Covid guidelines. Overall pleasant experience./
This place is a hidden gem. No, it's not in Cherry Creek, or in the bustling area of Broadway North of Alameda Avenue, but it is surely worth your visit.
We enjoyed the calamari appetizer, along with some adult beverages while we decided on our dinner. The calamari was crispy, cooked to perfection and seasoned well with flavorful pepperoncini which was well balanced by the marinara. My husband enjoyed a traditional gin martini, while I sipped on a very good Sangiovese.
For dinner, he had the veal parm with spaghetti, and I enjoyed the nightly special of sea bass with angel hair tossed in lemon/caper sauce. Everything was wonderful! We ended up getting the Sangiovese bottle to have along with our dinner.
And, we were not shy about dessert, because we had our excellent server package up half of our dinners to be enjoyed the next day. We had the limoncello marscapone cake, which was light, slightly sweet and slightly tart.
The music they were playing was quite enjoyable, and while we visited on a slower Tuesday evening, the noise level was excellent for our date night conversation.
The cost was quite reasonable. I highly recommend Bruno's!
We absolutely love Bruno's! Always fresh, always delicious & you're always treated like family. Nick, Evan & the staff are wonderful.
Great food, awesome service. We'll definitely go back.
Great food and very attentive service!
Food and service are top notch
Dining at Bruno's is like being back on the east coast (minus all the yelling!) A must-visit for Italian in Denver.
We came for dinner to celebrate a new job. The food was delicious and service was outstanding. We’ll definitely come back!
Amazing experience! Highly recommend!
First visit to this restaurant after the move to Broadway. Very small, very comfortable and an all around pleasant experiece.
Great tiny restaurant. Service was great and food was delicious. A bit overpriced for what was served.
The food was absolutely amazing! The wine complemented it perfectly!
Delicious food. Nick, the owner, is very welcoming & warm. Evan, our favorite server, is knowledgeable & on top of everything. Whenever you're in the mood for fantastic Italian food, this is the place to go!
The food is very good and good value as entrees come with soup or salad. We loved the old restaurant and the new one did not disappoint
The food was delicious (especially fettuccini alfredo) and all came out at the perfect time. The owner and our waiter were both great. Would recommend to anyone
There Lasagna is the best we have ever had at a restaurant.
great food and service and therefore looking forward to going back
A semi casual dining space allowing to dine in jeans or shorts; however, the cuisine and service is top notch, high end and delightful.
Great food and wait staff
Considering the virus impact on the dining experience, I think Bruno's is doing quite well in making patrons feel safe enough to come inside. The food (Osso Bucco and a sole dish) were extremely tasty.
Beautiful meal, beautiful service & lovely atmosphere!
Spot on as always. A must go place for Italian in Denver.
The restaurant is unassuming, the location is up and coming, the service is friendly and on point; however, the cuisine was AMAZING. I'm Italian, I travel to Italy sometimes two or three times annually and the authentic food in Termini Sicily (where the Godfather was filmed) has nothing on the chef in this kitchen. My dish (pasta primavera in a white garlic sauce) left me wanting to lick the bowl clean. My manners got the best of me and I reluctantly managed to sop up the remaining delicious sauce with my last slice of bread.
I will be back!
Bruno's is back, and stronger than ever in their new location. The sea bass with broccoli tonite was A+, 5 stars all the way.
The best carbonara around! So good. So was the risotto of the day, linguine with clams and fish, and the desserts.
Our experience was wonderful! The food, service, ambience and recommendations were great. Amazing price for the value. Definitely our new favorite Italian spot in Denver :)
Hidden gem. Order the Saltimboca with the Gnocchi. Delicious.
Some of the best norther Italian cuisine in Denver.
Bruno's food is outstanding: tasty, well presented, fresh (or snap frozen on the fishing boat), beautifully prepared and sauced, and innovative. We had clams, sole, osso bucco, and pasta dishes, with Italian wine and beer. We chose to sit outside on the patio, to enhance social distancing, and while at times a bit noisy due to Broadway traffic, it was delightful. Not cheap, but well worth it.
AMAZING! It was delicious. I would recommend folks to try it.
This is a charming space to dine. It is cozy, warm and comfortable, the food is delicious. It reminds me of the old up-scaled Italian restaurants from the 50's and 60's with southern Italian dishes.
Piccolo posto fantastico! We all (3) thoroughly enjoyed this first visit and will be back. The food was excellent especially the veal piccata and reasonably priced. Bravo!
The food was great,as was the service. We are glad to have Bruno's in our area. We will definitely go again to try different dishes. We will encourage others to give Bruno's a try. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Ciao
I guess everything was good but not spectacular. The restaurant was empty but a few tables filled by the time we left, about 7:30. My friend and I had the ciopinno..it was ok. It had lots of shellfish but no regular fish. Dessert was expensive, $7.95 for the gelato too! It was interesting but with so many good restaurants around, we probably won’t go back.
Food was very good and very hot, prices reasonable.
Parking is a little tight in back.
Noise level made it difficult to carry on conversation
This was our first time at Bruno's since they moved from their old location. They have maintained the great service and food that they had at the old location. Parking is not as good as before, but all of the rest is the same. Highly recommended!
Great food, drink and service. I highly recommend Bruno's.
Very good meal in a nice environment. I had the shrimp Parmigiana which is a personal favorite. My wife had the butternut squash ravioli (February is ravioli month) and loved it. The service was very good as always. We are so glad Bruno’s has reopened.
