If you are looking for MEDIOCRE Italian food, this is the place for you.
I had chicken piccata and it was great!
A neighbor and I went to Bruno's for "Eat for Life" - the yearly benefit for "Project Angel Heart".
We had been before so it was the perfect place to return to.
Food was great as usual, and server was nice as well.
When it came time for dessert, I ordered a "Smith and Kerns". The server wasn't familiar with it but said he'd "look it up in the book". It was perfect.
Service was great! Food was decent but being located in a strip mall was not a plus, it kind of cheapened the experience. The only reason I tried it in the first place is because it was supposedly a "Top 10 of Denver" which it definitely isn't in my opinion. I had the lasagne and it was good, friend has eggplant parm and it was good, not great.
Average food with some good dishes and some not so good. Overall, good for the price. Very limited liquor and wine selection.
We happened upon Bruno's about 6 months ago and keep coming back for the excellent service and delicious, authentic Italian food. Their veal parm is the best I ever had anywhere. My husband is crazy about their lasagna. And their Italian Margarita is great.
This was our first visit to Bruno's and it won't be our last. We enjoyed a wonderful meal reasonably priced with great service. The owner came over to see how the food was and visited with us. I would highly recommend Bruno's.
Great food. Terrific service. Warm, comfortable atmosphere. Excellent experience all around.
Very busy, thats good. service not up to the usual. Had to wati over 30 minutes for second order of bread, was told oven was used for pizza. Asked three times for oil that goes with the bread, and the second time it was never delivered.
The service was great. The food came out quickly. The food was really good with large portions. They give free desert to birthday guest. It wasn’t too loud. Great experience
Outstanding meal with friends. We were looking for a neighborhood place near our friends daughters apartment and saw the great reviews on Open Table. They were right, well worth the visit. Owner waited on us and hustled as much as his staff, impressive. We’ll be back!
Wonderful food, great service, great drinks and wine!! A hidden gem that people should definitely check out!!
Servers are always prompt and friendly. This place has traditional red sauce dishes and other seafood dishes. The seafood (clams, mussels, sole, etc) is always fresh.
Went during Ravioli month (February). Outstanding. Loved the garlic white wine sauce.
My boyfriend and I had a very nice Valentine's Day dinner. The food and the bread were excellent and the service was great. It was a nice cozy romantic place to spend Valentine's Day. We will definitely return for dinner again.
Wait staff is excellent. Food is always delicious and freshly prepared. Our server was Brad for the evening. He was attentive, friendly and accommodated our requests. Bruno's is our "go to" restaurant for an Italian meal.
This is a great neighborhood place with good, consistent food and good service. February is ravioli month! Delicious
Always can count on Brunos for a great Meal!!!
Good all around
Been there a long time
Dinner with friends, all 4 meals were excellent. The minestrone soup, which came with the entree, you can have a nice salad if you wish, was very good. So much food that we all took 1/2 Home for another meal and could not have dessert. Great specials every night, esp. if you like fish.
We have had the pleasure of dining at Bruno's numerous times with friends. It's a quiet casual venue. The food is always delicious with nightly special creations that I look forward to. The service is very good, though occasionally rushed. Someday I will try a dessert, usually too full to even consider that after one of their meals.
Good food, varied menu, and great service. We will go back.
Bruno’s is always consistently good. Easy to become a regular.
Small, quiet family-run restaurant for fine Italian dining in an unlikely location.
Bruno's is our Go-To Italian restaurant. We've been back on the mainland for four weeks and we'e been to Bruno's three times. We dine here as a couple and it's also become a favorite with our family and friends, who have dined here with us, as well.
Evan is a gem. He doesn't write orders down because he has an impeccable memory!
This restaurant is a delight!
Being from New Jersey, I have a high expection for Italian food. Bruno's is not great Italian food. I had spaghetti and meatballs because I always like to try the pasta. Sorry to say the meal was tasteless. The red sauce needed salt and was in general bland. The meatballs were poor.
Our experience at Bruno's is always superb and overtly delectable. This is the fifth time I've arranged for a dinner with friends and family in which we were all wholly satisfied and in adoration for the food, service and drinks at Bruno's. Such consistency and quality. I couldn't help but to order the veal saltimbocca, a personal favorite and rock star recipe on the menu. Also at the table: osso buco, the chicken parm special, spaghetti and meatballs, and the fettuccine. We were all able to try each other's dishes and they were all 10/10 Would try again. We all did cocktails such as the Italian margarita, enjoyed the sangiovese, and ordered a couple bottles of the sparkles, which I believe was a prosecco. It was a nice, drinkable brut. Overall our dining experience was fine and all of my guests and I are happy to return the next time we're in Denver. I have all my friends and family converted to this place; we will literally drive 596 miles to enjoy this CLASSIC Italian cooking at Bruno's. I truly love the intimate, quiet, cozy ambience. I love how this gem is tucked away in a strip mall next to the dollar store. It is so low key yet just the classiest and absolutely the tastiest. The service is seasoned and they will take good care of you.
We celebrated two birthdays and everyone totally enjoyed the ambience, food and service
Food and service great . Lovely ambiance. Will definitely go back
a real find. Excellent food, wine list, prices very reasonable and portion sizes were large
Delightful place, excellent Italian dishes. Friendly staff, knowledgeable about menu. Just a very relaxing place with great food.
Unfortunately this was the last time I will go there. I have experienced several terrible evenings now . It use to be good.
Went with the intent of having our Thanksgiving dinner there, but were drawn to the excellence of their Italian menu. Other diners seemed to like the turkey dinner while we were happy with their excellent Veal Marsala and Linguine Carbonara.
My fav Italian place ever ever ever!!! I am a foodie, you get no better than this!
Fine Italian food! Great service!
Excellent food and very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place.
Very expensive...terrible service...actually told us they were out of clean glasses so they would have to reuse the ones we had. Server was angry we asked for more bread..Not worth the price
We checked nearby restaurants at 6 pm & booked Bruno's at 6:08 for a 6:30 seating. When we arrived, they said we were not on their handwritten list & therefore would not be seated. Bruno's was not managing OpenTable bookings.
The quality of food preparation was very poor. The filet mignon served was actually sliced in half horizontally so that, according to the waiter, the "chef" could tell whether it was cooked medium-rare as requested. The ravioli was pasty and smothered in a salty sauce. The only good news about the meal was the house salad that contained reasonably fresh greens.
