We were very, very fortunate to obtain a reservation for Christmas Day, and Broussard’s did not disappoint. In my view, it is testament to the quality of a restaurant by the manner in which it handles a large number of diners on a holiday. Broussard’s handled the challenge with aplomb. We were greeted with profuse apologies that our table wasn’t ready upon our arrival, which was about 20 minutes early in any event and really was of little concern to us. We simply repaired to the bar for cocktails and were greeted by very friendly bartenders and very good drinks. We were having such a good time that I confess to being a tad disappointed a very short time later when we were told our table was ready. Our pleasurable experience continued, notably due to the high quality of the service staff – more than one server attended to us to ensure that drink orders were taken and our wait time for anything we wished was minimal. Highly professional, yet friendly. Fine dining, yet not pretentious. Every dish we ordered was phenomenal, again, notwithstanding the holiday hustle. Not one dish missed the mark. Not one. Broussard’s deserves its reputation as being among the best of the best creole restaurants in New Orleans, and it does have high quality competition. I would recommend Broussard’s to anyone visiting NOLA, and we plan to return when we visit again.

My husband and I had Christmas dinner at Broussards and it was fantastic! The service was great, the ambiance was great and the did was excellent!

Although it Was Christmas, the restaurant was a little under staffed. Service was slow but friendly. Food was delicious.

Restaurants on Christmas Day are always a gamble. Happy we chose Broussard’s this Christmas! Everyone was trying their best to make it a wonderful experience. From the pleasant greetings to the smiling faces everyone was doing their best to make sure we enjoyed our Christmas lunch. Wonderful experience!

We had the redfish which was excellent and the barbecue shrimp that was good. The service was very good.

Christmas Eve Dinner. We experienced a 3-hour delay between the appetizers & soup and our main course. 2-hours is an extraordinarily long wait between courses. Not only our waiter, but several staff apologized for the delay, but it certainly dampened our dining experience. Brousard's is typically a fine dining and well-respected restaurant, but they fell short this evening.

For Christmas Eve they were so understaffed it was embarrassing. Made reservation for 8 6 weeks in advance and sent us to a table laid for 6 and had two in our party standing for several minutes until I had to ask for chairs. Food was tasty but cold. Advertised a Revillion menu-in fact sent it to me when I reserved- only to find out they don’t serve it on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Do you know what Revillion is? The lack of service really marred the evening.
