    We live locally. We came to the Quarters to hang out for the weekend. This was our first time eating at Broussard‘s. The waiter was attentive and the service was good The food was good, but cool to temperature. I was very disappointed. I absolutely love hot French bread and a good glass of wine. The bread was cold. The butter was hard. The music was too loud and not appropriate for a nice dinner. I left feeling disappointed, in what I thought was going to be a great dining experience.

    We started off with the Deviled Eggs and the Oysters. Both were very tasty a 9/10 on both. My husband had the. Grilled Shrimp with marscapone grits. They were another 9/10. I had the Josephine the poached eggs were beautiful and the crab cake was amazing with the bernaise sauce it was so rich. We did not option for the unlimited mimosas since we both drank a little much the night before. Next time I will know better. Broussard s staff was amazing and the three piece band wandered through the tables and played music. Broussard’s is a must for a brunch. TV

    Jazz Brunch was great! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the music of the Gumbo Trio.

    Incredible meal last night paired with outstanding wines from Silver Oak and impeccable service. My only complaints: volume was really loud! And Sometimes servers were a bit over eager to clear plates!

    I attended a wine dinner in connection with New Orleans wine and food experience. It was a four course dinner with Wine paired from Silver Oak winery. The food was absolutely amazing. Kudos to the chef and his staff. If the flourless chocolate cake and onion coated filet aren’t on the menu, they should be – amazing!

    We had an incredible meal with some of the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant! Great food, amazing cocktails, perfect ambiance. We will be back!

    Venue is in a great location and is beautiful inside. The menu on paper looked good. We had the goats cheese salad and the the shrimp to start, both excellent. The mains were not so good. The mahi mahi while cooked perfectly was bland. The chicken was over seasoned with pepper. I asked to substitute creamed spinach with broccolini, was informed no substitutes allowed. Finally my daughter got the fried chicken and fries only for it to come out with mashed potatoes. When I asked I was informed that is the offering for children even though their menu stated chicken and fries. Overall we wouldn’t return.

    Service was poor. First when we entered there was no one at host stand and we had to wait a few minutes before anyone showed. We had two waiters- one doing drinks and one on food, they told us. Both seemed to be green and untrained. Messed up where items went even when audibly counting the seat number. Did not promptly clean the dirty dishes. I just expected professional waiters in a place with such a long history but that was not the case. The food was all solid- appetizers oysters, crab cakes, shrimp were all hits. The meals were fine- appetizers were better. While we were indeed a large table (10ppl), food arriving just warm with sauce congealing was not what I expected. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable where we were seated, a kind of indoor patio. The timing of everything was just so extended, and I wonder if part of it was they forgot about us? 10 people appetizers and dinner (no dessert) took us 2 hours and 45 minutes. Just a bummer I thought this would be a great New Orleans dinner spot for those who’d never been and was embarrassed by my choice.
