We had such a great time! Went for Sunday jazz brunch. They sang Happy Birthday and allowed a request. The shrimp and grits best we ever have had. Bottomless mimosas were wonderful addition. Service was fantastic. We'll definitely return.

Nice place for having lunch or brunch. The food was tasty, the service reasonably good. Special offer (bottomless) of drinking Rose was very good all through the brunch.

One member of our party was disappointed with the pork belly appetizer. That was the only food issue. Service might have been a lot better. Wait staff was attentive but not in the way things were in previous experiences at restaurants with a reputation like Broussard's. We ordered a bottle of wine at the same time we placed our food order. I had to remind someone that we were still waiting for the bottle of wine after our appetizers were served.

Broussard's is a place well known by New Orleans natives. It came highly recommended to
us, so we thought we'd give it a try. The service was excellent and attentive. We loved our choices, spilling the main course, thankfully; then chose our separate starters. I got my favorite foes gras! It was superb. I really loved being there; such a friendly, knowledgable staff. We'll come again AND recommended to our friends and family!

Dined at Broussard's two nights in a row. Both nights the food and service were excellent, and the staff was very flexible for our large group. The fish and poultry dishes were all delightful, as well as the Banana's Foster! Skillful and knowledgeable bartender made wonderful cocktails. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Large party of 9 folks. 5 people ordered Prix Fixe and had shrimp penne. All five had to return the pasta because it was so salty it was inedible. Restaurant took them back and remade them. Second time, still very salty. Not one person was able to finish the pasta. While the service was great, overall, the food was just not that good. I could not recommend this restaurant. While restaurant offered a cup of soup while it was remade, made no effort to comp anything on the bill. So many other great choices, just skip Broussards.

It was a really nice evening the food was excellent as was the service. I would recommend it for a special occasion. It is a little pricy but worth it. The only negative I have was the $8.00 price for a cup of tea.

Excellent Sunday brunch on their very lovely patio. Introduced my husband to Brandy Milk punch. "To die for". Food, service, Jazz trio all excellent. What a lovely time, couldn't ask for a better way to spend a leisurely Sunday Brunch. Highly recommend

Chaos, as completely overbooked. No good communication of problem, staff pulled back and did not offer complimentary drinks e.g. Only after asking. Not a good maybe. The food however was good.

The food was delicious. The service was very slow. Maybe this is to be expected in the French Quarter during a big convention. The manager did give us complimentary glasses of wine for our long wait!

The restaurant is nice, good food, but only if you get seated on time. We had a 7:45 PM reservation and we got seated at 9:15 PM, all of this after we got a confirmed reservation on Open Table.

Terrible. We were seated almost immediately which was the best part of the dining experience. The wait staff seemed distracted and took ages to get us water and drink orders. There was a wedding reception in the courtyard as well with blaring salsa and dance favorites making it hard to hear anything going on at our table. Food was cold and bland and staff inattentive. We asked at least 3 times for refills on drinks that never came. Save your time and money.

No bar table service. We had five different servers. None came back to pour wine after initial pour. New server tried to serve regular water when we were drinking sparkling. Extremely noisy so One could not hear a person across the table. Main meal served 45 minutes after appetizers. And they only had 100 meals to serve as per one waiter. Food was good but all else made the experience poor. I have been to New Orleans over 30 times buy this was my first and last at Broussard’s.

Having eaten at some of the other traditional Frech Quarter restaurants (Arnaud's, Antoine's, etc.) was looking forward to Broussard's. Highly disappointed. To begin with, despite an empty dining room, my wife and I were seated right next to a wedding reception party of 13. Poor front of the house planning- and my mistake for not requesting another table. Our server was also attending to this large group and not getting any help from anyone else- so we were pretty much ignored the whole night- except when we were asked how everything was- with nothing in front of us but bread. Add to that being served soup without a spoon. Again, poor attention to detail.
The food was good, although the menu could use a bit of updating. Unfortunately, the poor service probably also affected our enjoyment of the meal.
Looking back, I probably should have stuck with what I knew and taken my wife, who had never been to NOLA to one of the aforementioned places. Fortunately, this was really the only bad dining experience we had on our trip. With the changing reatuarant landscape, with new up and coming chefs taking things to the next level, places like Broussard's need to be doing it better on the service end; they didn't, for us anyway.

Our group of 9 waited 2 hours for our entrees. Service was poor. Food was good, but not worth the wait. We were in a large room set up with large tables for large groups. The good news is that they could handle our group with little notice. Then again, there is a reason they weren’t booked in advance like our other options.

Food was delicious, especially the cream of squash soup that was served that was on special the day I went. Would recommend! The onions on top of the filet are slightly overpowering, but by no means ruined the dish.

I brought my wife for our one-year wedding anniversary this past October 30th, and every detail I asked for was taken care of to perfection. Our server, Don, was exceptional. Everyone from the staff from the girl who took my reservation, to the manager (who came by twice to personally check on our dining experience) was hands down the most well trained and professional I have ever encountered. Thank you all for a magnificent and beautiful experience. We hope to visit New Orleans again soon, and when we do we will certainly be dining with you. Cheers.

Brroussards was the dining highlight of our visit to NOLA. The food was sublime and perfectly cooked. Jeff (Manager) and staff including two of our servers Lionel and Ariel, as well as others who attended our needs were just great. We ate in several well known dining institutions while in NOLA and Broussards stands out by far!

Somehow, in all the years we've been visiting New Orleans, we missed Broussard's! Beautiful building, more elegant than Antoine's or Arnaud's. Fabulous service, great wine list, wonderful food. Bananas Foster is not to be missed - the traditional NOLA classic, but very well done. Nothing "new" or surprising, just an elegant, old world meal that takes you out of the everyday bustle.

I recommend starting with cocktails at the Bombay Club, then strolling over for a glimpse of Old New Orleans at it's finest!

It was refreshing to visit a restaurant with very professional staff. They did everything right. We had just one issue where our after dinner drinks for our coffee were delayed coming from the bar (though we had our coffee immediately) and the server immediately replaced the coffee with hot coffee, without being asked, as soon as they realized the delay. The food was outstanding. The drinks are a bit pricey if you plan to drink as much as we did (hey, it's New Orleans!), but otherwise we felt the value was very good. You can easily see why this is a classic NOLA restaurant. We will go back again the next time we return to the city.

Phenomenal waitstaff, better atmosphere, and even greater food. My wife and I went there for our honeymoon at the suggestion of a colleague. It was the last night and the best meal of our week-long stay in New Orleans. I would write more, but I would only be rambling with delightful reminiscence of mouthwatering food and fantastic conversations with my wife and the waitstaff.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. Pale pink walls, ornate crown molding, furnishings, all lovely. The food is OK, it is not what I come to New Orleans for, but not bad by any average standard. The service has a LONG way to go. Several people come to your table to introduce themselves as your servers and they are all very pleasant. But the execution is lacking. Water glasses, wine glasses, cocktails all take a long time to make it to the table and don't even think you will get a refill. Food service is the same, very slow and inaccurate. It's a one-timer, at this point, for us.
