    I came in for brunch to celebrate my birthday, which was noted in the reso…however, no acknowledgment was made of the occasion. Chicken and Waffles were great! The grits were lacking in flavor with a weird texture, eggs overcooked and the Crème Brûlée was soupy. I was still charged for the crème brûlée and the eggs despite me pointing out the errors and not finishing the food. Overall, just an underwhelming experience.

    From the moment we walked in we were dazzled by service. Lionel saw us waiting and immediately checked us in and walked us to our table. He gave us excellent recommendations as we navigated the menu. Once we ordered he noted my colleagues allergy and gave her a side of our appetizer and even split up the chicken and waffles that we shared for our convenience. Now for the actual food, the cornbread is AMAZING, the star of the show. The grits and the chicken and waffles were FULL of flavor. The food was so good I started looking at the dinner menu to plot another trip back. 10/10 service and good! Definitely will be back! Thank you and shout out to Lionel for making our brunch one that we will talk about for ages!

    We attended a Friday jazz brunch. The staff were all very friendly. The service overall was a bit slow, and I expected better of the food considering the price. We tried several of the starters (the skillet cornbread was phenomenal), and the shrimp and grits main was also very good. The rest of the food was okay, but we ate better brunches for less elsewhere during our stay in New Orleans.

    Sorry for 50 dollars per person I expected better than turkey roll for Thanksgiving dinner. Didn’t even eat it. The glass of wine and the bread and sweet potatoes were delicious.

    Impeccable service from arrival to departure! Ordered the traditional Thanksgiving meal, which was a lot of food but just "ok". We felt we would have been better off ordering a meal Broussard's does on a more regular basis.

    Our reservation for 2:30 pm brunch was very nice, while also a little disappointing. I booked for patio seating via the app but very quickly received a call from the restaurant that the patio area dining was closing at 2 until it reopens for dinner service. We did agree as we always enjoy this restaurant but disappointed as I had gotten my hopes up. I love their patio area. Everything was delicious, as always. We started with turtle soups with a nice topping of sherry. It was a perfect start. I enjoyed the crab cakes that I ordered while the rest of the table ordered shrimp and grits, which were spectacular. We also ordered the baked breads appetizer which were also amazing, with a combination of both savory and sweet. As always, I would recommend the Bottomless mimosas, which at the end of our meal, were a little more challenging to get refilled. I must admit that it is somewhat expected as the restaurant does close in between brunch and dinner service. This was my only complaint that I had and a minor one at that. We did not have dessert during this visit as we simply could not eat another bite. Absolutely recommend this restaurant.

    Outstanding place for Sunday Jazz brunch. Great southern dishes (try the fried green tomatoes) paired with great service (Thank you Joyce, James and Jocelyn) and live Jazz. Courtyard seating with good weather and Jazz band playing requests at the table.

    We were disappointed that there was only brief interludes of Jazz during a "Jazz Brunch" as the group traveled from room to room, playing one song for each new table that was seated and took frequent breaks. We heard only 3 songs during our 90 minute seating. Otherwise service was excellent and ambiance refined.

    Very nice restaurant in a city filled with great restaurants. The service was outstanding. Higher prices than some other comparable fine dining I’ve experienced here, but overall a solid choice if you’re in New Orleans.

    We went late on a rainy Mon night. Food was decent , pork chop great, scallop dish was mediocre. There was a large party there celebrating something and they sat us right next to them despite the restaurant being empty. They were very very loud and so we were unable to even speak to one another. Made no sense to seat us next to them. Strange. On a different night, earlier, I’m sure it’s a lovely place.

    We went on a rainy Monday night - we were one of only four tables seated in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our table was broken when we were seated so they quickly moved us. We did notice some walk ins try to get a table but they were turned away and offered the bar as an alternative. So highly recommend booking reservations in advance. We loved the fried oyster appetizer - absolutely delicious. We also ordered the camberet but decided it wasn’t for us. I had the shrimp and crab stuff founder and my husband had the bronze fish - mine was better but both were tasty. They made me a tasty mocktail that wasn’t on the menu which was appreciated. Probably won’t be back - it was on the pricey side for what we actually got. But I’m sure it would be lovely on a fall evening, when it’s not raining to dine in the courtyard.

    Incredible as always. The food is out of this world and the service is amazing. I would highly recommend for brunch.

    Fantastic place! Live musicians were fun, and the wait staff were REALLY pleasant and equally fun. Food was more expensive than I would normally pay for, but it was REALLY good, so it was at least worth the splurge. I didn't like that people were walking into a high end brunch restaurant in sweatpants, but that's up to the restaurant to moderate and doesn't hinder the experience in the end.

    Awesome. Bottomless mimosas- our glasses were never empty. The short ribs were phenomenal. I don’t usually like sunny side eggs but the hard fried them and left just enough yolk for flavor. Cornbread appetizer was delicious and light. Probably won’t do turtle soup again. It was good but not best Elgar before and so much food not needed. We will definitely go again.
