They do not accept OpenTable. I have no idea how the food is. My bad review is for open table, not Brix.

They did not honor the on line reservation - got there and no seat available. Went to another place. Weve been there before and had a great time. Thought we would use this service to guarantee a seat - sadly no.

Brix did not receive the reservation from Open Table. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had no record of our reservation. Very frustrating.

It used to be a fun place last couple times, it did not measure up!

We discovered this spot by accident while spending the night in Sunset Beach, before travelling further south for a wedding on Sunday. Brix was really busy Saturday night when we got to town (8 pm), so we decided to come back the next day for brunch. This is now our favorite spot in Sunset! Great craft beer selection, extensive wine list and the food was amazing! Steve (server/beer tender/conversationalist extraordinaire) was awesome! He was really friendly and knowledgeable, my boyfriend and I had a great time chatting with him! We can't wait to come back!

Service was helpful with just the right amount of attention. Great beer selection as always and I tried the Brix breakfast burrito, it was excellent! Definitely a place to come back to soon!

Were there mid-week for lunch and no other patrons...so I don't know about noise level, etc on a busy day/evening.

Fun evening with great food, music, friends and service. Thought the very busy bartender/waiter was specially good.

Place was nice. Food was good, but most importantly. I loved the service. Excellent. I took my 6 year old daughter for a luncj date. The service again was wonderful.

Great little casual spot in Sunset Beach. I've been here a handful of times, and the food had always been very good. The server was very courteous and attended to our rambunctious table. Love Sunset Beach, and really enjoy the sleepy ambiance of the town and this cute little spot.

Birthday Celebration...the appetizers were great and the meal was fantastic. Can't go wrong with the pastrami on rye. The Happy Endings Band was playing and totally completed the night. Perfect celebration evening!

This place was more a bar than restaurant. The food was OK when we were able to order. Nothing from the online menu was any longer available "Oh thats old" so remove it!

We had a Groupon for 30$ worth of food, and that got us 2 sandwiches. Food was good, but seems quite pricey at full value. Our server was nice though

Just a Local Dive Bar! Don't be fooled by the website. Made reservations on a week night to hear a local musician and have a little dinner with a friend. There is no check in, just a couple of guys working the whole joint. No one was interested in my 7:30pm reservation at all and there was no place to sit. One table was reserved for 7:15pm but it was a "no show" so one of the guys let us sit there. The party of 2 showed up at 7:50pm and I was told I had to move to another table. Must have been a regular. How about that for customer service! I never said a word just let them move me. Tried to order food after the move but no luck. Was never approached again until I got up to find a guy to take an order. 30 minutes later, we got our food. At 10pm, I had to find a guy from the back room to give me a check so I could pay. The bottom line is, if you're not just running up a tab at one of the bars, this establishment is just not the place.

Drove an hour to eat the best pastrami on the west coast. The waiter was alone working on a Saturday nite. He was soooo joyful, brought wine, told us his ploy being alone in the Restaurant so he was the bartender & the waiter. Thank goodness he was not the chef. However, the food was just OK. The Pastrami was just ok, we have dined their before at lunch & the Pastrami was Fab. However not this time, just ordinary. Good music, we made our own fun. Thanks K

Decided to go to last minute Mothers Day brunch with the clan and found an available reservation at Brix. When we got there the place was just about empty, maybe 2 or 3 other tables. The server came by and we ordered coffees and waters. About 15 mins later we are thinking "where are our drinks" and the server shows up with the water and said he was brewing a new pot of coffee and it would be a few mins. We added mimosas to our order and then proceeded to wait 20 more minutes for those to come out. By the time the coffee and mimosas finally arrive I'd lost track of how long it had been...but it felt as if we may grow old and die before we get drinks, let alone order. During all this time, just to put things in perspective, another group shows up and sits down, and waits, and waits, and waits. They finally got up and left without anyone ever saying a word to them. After another eternity 3 of our 7 breakfasts show up. We sit patiently waiting for the rest, assuming them must be right behind these 3. Nope, another 15 or more mins pass and 2 more breakfasts show up...missing main components of the dish! By the time the final 2 plates show up most of us had finished, and were very unhappy. We had mentioned something to the server and he became very rude and basically disappeared. The owner, or manager, not sure which she was, walked by and we mentioned to her what a horrible experience we were having and she made a few excuses and blamed it on the kitchen at first. Eventually gave up the excuse and apologized and proceeded to make things right, which left us not so upset, but it was still not the way we'd hoped to celebrate Mother's Day. On a positive note, the food was very good, but I'm not sure if I'll ever go back.

The bratwurst on a pretzel bun was delicious. Very disappointed in the Fuhgeddaboudit pastrami on rye with swiss and cole slaw. Very little pastrami mostly slaw.
Would go back for the bratwurst as well as many other interesting items on the menu.
Was seated in the small bar with no atmosphere . Looks like a nicer room next to it for evening diners. Good beer and wine selection reasonable prices.
