    Excellent service and food. The scallops and calamari were great. Very fresh and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back to Bristol. Our waiter (Brett) was great.

    Bristol is my go to place for birthday and anniversary celebrations. They always have great food and the service is spot on. With my last experience they acknowledged our anniversary and celebrated it with us.

    As we are frequent diners at the Bristol, this was an unusual experience for us. We were greeted by a clearly frustrated host as we announced our reservation. We were seated in a busy section with servers moving behind and on both sides, and the restaurant was half full with several tables in a less busy area available. The server was nice and friendly, but frequently absent. We have not had a negative experience like this before, and unfortunately, we'll probably hesitate returning in the near future as a result.

    We’ve never been disappointed with a meal from Bristol. The staff, and especially the servers, are knowledgeable about the food being offered, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. Not surprisingly, the special fried lobster tails were wonderful, the cocktails spot on, and the Caesar salads were large and tasty.

    My waiter was kind of gruff and I didn't appreciate that he came over while I was eating my salad after my entree had arrived and telling me how to eat my food with my salad and pointing in my plate with his finger so closed to my food that he almost touched it. I gave him a look and he was like" I apologize" because that was just overstepping to me with his finger in my plate. Other than that, the food was superb as always.

    We often choose the Bristol for group birthday gatherings. We requested and were seated in one of the small rooms at the front of the restaurant, so it was fairly private and quiet enough to easily talk. Our server was attentive while ensuring we had plenty of time to chat and enjoy our cocktails. One thing I really appreciate is that the staff bringing out our dinner dishes knew which of us had ordered which meal. None of the “auction” method some restaurants use where they stand there with a dish and ask who had the salmon or whatever. It is always first class. And delicious.

    The main course that I ordered came in cold at room temperature. When I brought it to the attention of the waiter, he just took it to the kitchen and microwaved it and brought it back. Usually they will prepare another new dish rather than microwaving your cold piece of fish which now was over cooked.

    They have the New England Clam Chowder back which was a welcome surprise. The food was very good but not as good as it has been in the past. Our server, whom we have had a few times in the past (Eric) was amazing and very attentive. They’ve raised prices from what we both remember, significantly; but, who hasn’t?

    It was the wife and mine Anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and the wait staff was on point. If I had to give a negative it would be that the food took a little time. No fault of the waiter. We would go back again.

    We ate outside on the patio, which we always enjoy. It was a beautiful day. Todd, our waiter, was excellent. We had ceasar salad, surf and turf and salmon with birthday carrot cake. A great meal and a great day!

    I love Bristol! The food, service, and ambiance are great. I'm not a big fan of fish. And definitely not salmon, as is can be a fishy tasting fish. But in the seafood mixed grill plate, its amazing!

    We've always enjoyed our dinners with friends at The Bristol. Our most recent visit was a bit of a disappointment. Between the timing of our various courses and cocktails and the quality of the food, it just wasn't the quality of experience that we are used to receiving at The Bristol. There were at least two large parties, so perhaps that threw some things off. We really enjoyed our seafood platter, but the lobster bisque was only lukewarm and fairly bland, even with the addition of a lot of black pepper. And our salmon and scallop entrees were overcooked. Hoping this was just a one-off, and it won't keep us from returning.

    Celebrated my birthday by dining on the patio on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Kelly, our waitress, was especially friendly and helpful in choosing our meal. Food was excellent and the patio was a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. Will definitely return.
