Bristol Seafood Grill – Leawood, KS Ratings and Reviews
Nice place. Good atmosphere and very nice service. I had never been here before, decided to check it out for KC Restaurant Week. I don't know... Maybe they don't work too hard on the restaurant week meals. It was okay but would have been disappointing if I was paying full price. Desserts had great descriptions and mediocre execution. Clam chowder was indistinguishable from canned. Bisque was outstanding. Pretzel trout was good but not 35 a plate good. Overall fine but will pass on the future due lack of value.
Received a birthday offer and we enjoy eating here so we decided it would make a good weekday lunch. We were seated in a cozy booth in the center dining area, quickly offered beverages and fresh biscuits. Our waiter, Eduardo I believe, was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. I had the fresh grilled ahi tuna (w/asparagus and Yukon potatoes) my wife the almond encrusted tilapia. Both dishes were excellent, cooked to perfection, nicely presented and very tasty. We shared the key lime pie which was accompanied by a lemon sherbet, cherries and watermelon pieces ... also excellent. Great place for seafood!
My boyfriend and I hadn’t seen each other in a month, so we wanted to go somewhere nice. When we pulled up to the restaurant we were afraid we were too overdressed, but when we got inside we felt at ease and comfortable with the environment. The food was delicious and it came in a timely manner!
We had an amazing dinner at The Bristol to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The table was decorated, service was excellent, and food was great. This location is large, but manages to have a cozy feel and the noise level is such that you can actually converse with those at your table.
The Bristol never fails to satisfy. This was my wife's birthday celebration so the staff provided several little touches to let her know this was a special meal. Our food was excellent - I had swordfish cooked just right, not dry and not undercooked. We split a piece of the Bristol's justifiably famous carrot cake. We were glad we split as the portion was at least large, maybe even huge.
The prices have gone a little high. What was an $80-$90 meal two years ago is now in the $100-$120 range. For a special occasion it was worth it, but not for regular night out.
I am always enchanted each time I visit the Bristol.
Love the location and gracious staff.
This recent visit was entertaining as we had several banana fruit flies or little gnats lingering around the particular booth we occupied near the coat rack against the back of our booth seat near the kitchen entrance way.
However tasteful they maybe, I was hoping not to ingest one while trying to enjoy our meal.
While sitting across the table from each other the conversation strays from our lovely evening together to the swarm of gnats hovering between us.
I love the food and staff, hope to visit again soon.
Thank you for the great service and excellent food.
