Food and service was excellent. My husband didn’t like the dill hollandaise sauce on the corn beef hash; but everything else was amazing!
The food was very good but the service was absolutely terrible this time. We were so excited to go back for the brunch and it has been two years since we moved and of course the menu options changed. They used to have a few options that had three courses, one was a desert and now the desert is separate. We wouldn’t have minded except we were ignored after we finished our entree. My husband wanted more coffee and we wanted to order desert but had to actually wave our hands in the air to get someone to notice us, since it had been 20 min since the last time someone even spoke to us. Wouldn’t go back now especially with so many great places in the city. I’m sad to say it but spend your money somewhere else.
Great food, great ambience.
Our server, Randy, was an absolute professional. He has a great voice and a sparkling personality. The food and presentation were wonderful. The ambiance was lovely. The oyster plates on the walls were a particular treat. All the table-side service and presentation was wonderful as well. I will definitely return.
Great as always! A “must stop” for breakfast when in NOLA!
Delicious. He had osso bucco, I had the local gulf fish almandine, we had chocolate entremet & praline bread pudding—every flavor came together perfectly.
Joe are waiter was amazing!! Food was very fresh
Excellent food - wonderful service (the best we have received in the US, and we are on a coast to coast road trip). Highly recommended
Manager was so rude
One of the best! Makes our New Orleans trip fantastic!
Absolutely beautiful restaurant, great service and good food! Would come again.
Quintessential New Orleans. Dinner was everything it should have been.
The only thing I would do differently is to request a table other than the semi-round booth seating option.
My daughter and I had dinner here and we can not stop talking about it.
Every element was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, good natured and gracious and the restaurant was elegant without feeling stuffy.
I can’t wait to go back.
I absolutely love this restaurant. Have for many years and it never disappoints.Servers all make u feel at home
It started out great then we noticed a couple who came in 15 minutes after us getting their food before us. My dinner was lukewarm and wasnt good. The appetizers were great.
Both sets of grandparents celebrating the birth of our granddaughter!
The bread is to die for. Great wines by the glass.
Such a wonderful meal. The staff were amazing!
Excellent food and waitstaff with a beautiful environment.
Solid 4.5. The service was 5+ and the 3 course option a great value at $50. We opted to add a soup starter, and sadly the gumbo missed the mark, however the butternut squash soup was very good. I had the local sheepshead, which was a bit dry and over cooked, however the accompaniments were delicious. My date had the pheasant, which was flavorful although it was accompanied with a rather flavorless purée of some sort. The bread pudding was a custard style, more like creme brûlée. Quite nice as long as that’s what you’re expecting, and our server was good about explaining that so that there were no surprises. In summary, the ambiance and service really hit the mark, and although the food quality could improve a bit, Brennan’s is still a solid choice for a more upscale meal in the quarter.
Everything about our experience was outstanding. It was great trying new things (turtle soup, sweet bread, venison and pheasant to name a few) and everything was nothing less than delicious. Even our picky eater friends were impressed! The service was professional and polite. Come hungry, patient and ready to enjoy your company.
We had an incredible dinner. Every staff member made a point to wish us happy anniversary. Service is warm but not intrusive, Sean is an amazing server.
It was our anniversary. They went all out to make our evening special. So friendly and attentive. Thank you to all.
Brennan’s is spectacular. The food is the best I have ever had, anywhere - every time.
We had a fabulous brunch at Brennan’s. The food, the Bloody Mary’s, and the service were outstanding. But my favorite was the atmosphere! Go! Pricey but worth it
You can't beat Brennan's when you are in New Orleans! We loved our dinner and of course Banana's Foster! We loved it so much we came back the very next day for brunch! The service and food is top notch!!!
Best corned beef I’ve ever tasted. It was a busy atmosphere. Food was pricey but excellent! Bathrooms needed a little attention. Our server was very sweet.
The wait took a while! Food was wonderful
Not satisfied with the coffee, sugar substitutes. No espresso available and French pressed coffee had grounds in it when poured. Splenda or sweet and low not served. Not impressed with the service. Food was okay. Gumbo was thin and lacking. Osso buco was okay, overall had too many greens, risotto was weirdly green and the porcini was absent.
We had a delicious dinner Saturday night. Everything was very special. The service was also excellent- the kind of service New Orleans is famous for. I look forward to going back!
I saw all the great reviews which is why I chose to go. The service was excellent and good ambiance but the food quality was just not up to the standard I’ve come to expect from NOLA. Spend your money at Emeril’s.
The food was delicious, but service or cooking was very slow. Ordered drinks, but it was a while before they showed up. It was a 2-hour long dinner, which we hadn't planned on. We were late to a show at the Saenger.
Food was cold. Should have more lunch items for a 1pm seating (besides eggs). Waitress didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. I had to ask for coffee. If food had not been cold, we would have enjoyed it. Great seating by window.
Brunch at Brennens is always the best in New Orleans. The food is outstanding. My bbq lobster appetizer was scrumptious!!! As well as everything else we ordered. The reason I give this a four star overall is due to the service. Our waitress was very distracted with many tables it seems. She forgot my beverage and my husbands at two separate times. She then forgot us in general, as we sat there long after our meal was eaten. I asked the other waiter to get her and that I now didn't have time to enjoy my bday dessert. It was packaged nicely to go for me, and I was able to enjoy it (with my fingers) in my room. It was delicious, of course. Still will go to Brennens everytime I'm in the N.O. Love it!
Delicious as always!
A New Orleans GREAT!!
Fabulous as usual!
Elegant dining room with beautiful courtyard. Great creole offerings. A must when visiting New Orleans.
