Bramble & Hare, the original Farmhouse Kitchen and Bistro, opened its doors in July 2012. Founded by Chef Eric Skokan and his wife, Jill, as the sister restaurant to their Black Cat Farm~Table~Bistro.

Bramble & Hare has a lively, warm atmosphere in its three charming dining rooms. It is located in the heart of Boulder, CO, just off the historic Pearl Street Mall.

Features a 3-course prix fixe menu with choices for each course, Hand-crafted, seasonal cocktails featuring artisanal spirits and local ingredients show the talent of our incredible bar team who make our restaurant spring to life.

The variety of produce and meats grown on their 425 acre certified Organic farm allows Chef de Cusine Heraclio Garza Silva a limitless palette of flavors, colors, and textures from which to build their award-winning cuisine.

From the minute we walked in the team took excellent care of us. Jason, the sommelier, and Ian, the mixologist, were both amazing. They spent time not just explaining the menu, but also letting us get to know them as people. The entire experience felt like you could have been dining in someone's home- the front of the kitchen was visible and added to the ambience. The menu was phenomenal and well paired.

Wonderful food! As good as I remember it before the pandemic. Wishing we had a table not at the window, maybe in the old Bramble and Hare section rather than in the old Black Cat section ... my fault for not insisting.

We were 3, myself, my son and his girlfriend. We were looking for a farm-to-table meal with amazing food and ambiance. The Bramble and the Hare was amazing! It was quiet, peaceful with a soothing music track playing quietly. Our 3 courses were all different so we got a good sampling of their food. What a cozy restaurant!?

Best meal I’ve had out in a long, long time. Delicate flavors, wholesome food, and non-pretentious environment. This will be our new go to anniversary dinner place.

It is humbling and reassuring to know that some restaurant professionals are willing to work this hard to produce high quality local cuisine. The farm to table concept is an added bonus. The price fixe menu was impeccably put together, and the resulting taste combination was nothing short of sublime. Excellent and knowledgeable waitstaff without a hint of pretentiousness. Thank you Bramble & Hare… we hope to be back for another special occasion!

Lovely building and ambience just off the Pearl St Mall. We used to go to the Black Cat back when that was the restaurant, but hadn't been back in many years. I was expecting more from the food, however. We got the pork and lamb and neither was exceptional. The side of vegetables WAS super fresh and I don't think I've ever tasted such good beets. The dessert was nice. But with tax and tip (excluding wine), it's $100/person and not really worth that.
