A wonderful farm-to-table restaurant with kind, knowledgeable staff and delicious meals. I am not an expert on pork, but I understand that the Mulefoot breed of pork raised on the chef's farm and served in this restaurant is hard to find in general -- it's nice to have the opportunity to try it.
Cocktails, salad and dessert were awesome. Cute little place. Radishes were the best I’ve ever had. Super fresh and great concept of a restaurant. I definitely recommend!
Because there was a very low level of air conditioning on what was a very hot day and evening in Boulder, the restaurant was not comfortable for any of us. We kept expecting things would cool down, but it never did. I mentioned on my Open Table reservation that we were celebrating 2 birthdays. There was no acknowledgment or inquiry about it it as is usually done, yet another table had cake/candles for a birthday celebration. Frankly, as someone who has dined here over the years , always receiving over the top service, I was surprised. I said nothing. The start up after the pandemic closings seems to be changing expectations everywhere about service as new people are trained. The food and drinks were outstanding and the service was attentive otherwise. I'm still a huge fan of B&H and all things Black Cat, despite these comments and would still highly recommend it.
My wife doesn’t like cauliflower but she liked my cauliflower entree. Overall, the veggies and lamb tasted wonderful!
Overall a fantastic meal! Our server had some trouble cutting the foil on our wine bottle which caused some awkwardness, and later stopped by and poured without even motioning to see if we wanted more, but both of those are nitpicking and did not diminish our overall experience.
The food was amazing. Go with your waitress’s recommendation, you won’t regret it (I was hesitating between 2 dessert and followed what she said. My husband's dessert was good, mine was phenomenal). My only complaint would be that the music was a bit loud for a cosy, romantic restaurant.
Amazing food. Would definitely come here again for special occasions :)
Great atmosphere and service! The food quality was outstanding.
Fantastic 3-course dinner (food was truly memorable) and the service was knowledgeable and attentive.
Lovely dinner and well worth the price. Great delicious meal for a vegetarian and a meat eater alike! Server was helpful with wine selection, 10/10 overall
Amazing evening! Christina was so engaging and the drinks and food too notch
really bad service one of the worst experiences i have ever had. the food was great but they rushed our meal and were rude and do not understand how to corse a meal and made us feel like a transaction. spent over 400 for two people. and still was made to feel like we were wasting there time. will never go back and suggest you go somewhere else
I absolutely loved the meal and the service. The area where we were seated was small and had particularly nice soft lighting, which really added to the nice date-night feeling. The waitress was really friendly and helpful, and overall we had a wonderful time. Can't wait to go back!
Great example of farm to table goodness
Bramble & Hare always has such unique food creations and it's all farm to table. And their cocktails are awesome.
We were seated in a two-top in what was a side hallway -- dark and chairs were cracked leather. I would rather have been seated anywhere else. Not sure what the rationale would be for anyone wanting to be seated at this location, plus the cracked torn leather was not a good feel on my thigh! Not really great for a $140 tab. We try to support all restraurants in Boulder and since B & H reopened, I thought I'd make it a point to be there for a Mother's Day weekend dinner. But not likely returning there anytime soon. Fix or replace those chairs! NOT at all charming!
Delicious and very filling vegan options! Even though there wasn't a vegan option for dessert, the chef made us a rich chocolate, pumpkin cake. In addition to the food, both the cocktails and service were phenomenal.
Great place to go for an excellent meal!
B&H is one of my Wife and I's favorite places to have dinner and we are super happy that they are open again. The menu is ever changing based on what is in season and the dishes are always terrific. What really sets Bramble apart from all the other good restaurants in Boulder is the staff. They are a big part of making the experience.

Bramble & Hare's return is thrilling. The food is superb, the beverage menu is intriguing and wonderful and the hospitality is warm and professional. The new Bramble was our first night out since COVID landed more than a year ago. We are so glad we reentered the world of dining with Bramble. Spectacular!
Bramble and Hare is one of the best experiences in Boulder. Top quality atmosphere, super friendly staff, and mind blowing delicious food. Even beer, it’s part of a farm and a community that are top notch. You’ll be glad you go!
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Bramble & Hare, which we had chose to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday! The food was divine, as were the mocktails and the wine.! We enjoyed the atmosphere of the room and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Thank you so much for all the efforts you have made to create an atmosphere and experience which was so lovely, welcoming and comfortable, and still had a meticulous plan for covid safety.
3 course menu, appetizer, dinner and dessert. All excellent! Great cocktails and wine. Happy to have Bramble and Hare back.
Great food and service. Hidden treasure in Boulder!!!
Comfortable atmosphere, low key but good service, and excellent food. One of my favorites.
Absolutely lovely! We had the beet salad and chorizo for appetizers, pork shoulder and lamb roulade for mains, and strawberry shortcake and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Everything was excellent, well paced and beautifully served. I love the concept and look forward to our next visit.
Everything was so amazing! The food was incredible and every member of the staff was so genuine and kind. I came to celebrate my little sister's birthday and they did everything in their power to make her night amazing. We will be back in the future :)
Detailed and delicious - you can tell how fresh everything is too.
Wonderful to return to a favorite place in Boulder.
Tonight’s reopening of Bramble and Hare is the light at the end of the Covid tunnel for which we have all been waiting. Somehow, they have managed to blend the very best qualities of Black Cat and Bramble into a new experience even better than either by themself. Tonight was one of the best meals I’ve ever had anywhere. Between this and the incomparable Black Cat Farm Dinners, there are two life-changing dining experiences one must have. You won’t be disappointed.
appetizers lamb and pork tasty. main courses somewhat of a let down. pork lacking flavor though tender. lamb roulade slices a bit too thin. delicious veggies though. would come back to try other dishes.
AMAZING!!! The linguini appetizer was incredible and the bar tender's choice drink was perfect. I will be visiting over and over.
This is one of Boulder's best kept secrets.
It was good quality and great service just not my type of menu. The food was ok and pricey but high quality and farm to table. They're trying too hard.
Outstanding service and food!
Great and interesting food and drink and attentive, friendly service in a warm, pub-like atmosphere. I made the rez but didn’t pick up the tab :) so I don’t know about the value ....
Eric and Jill's true, deep, farm-to-table ethos permeates every ounce of the experience. You taste the commitment to stewarding a noble, thoughtful legacy of local regenerative agricultural practice. B&H is the most comfortable, welcoming, intimate, joyful and delicious dining experience in Boulder. It is my wife and my refuge. Always a place to restore, body and soul.
I highly recommend. There is good value for the food quality. The kitchen does a very nice job. Limited menu helps keep food quality high which I appreciate. The menu rotates so there is always something new. Farm to table keeps the flavor rich. Thank you for a nice evening and great food! Ts & Bw
The most unusual appetizer featured foie gras bread pudding. With a name like that, I had to try it. Actually the foie gras must have been liquified and blended into the pudding - I could "almost" taste it. It was served with an excellent apple compote; intriguing concept! Also had the chicken pot pie - slightly oversalted but with abundant chicken and peas. Atmosphere is perfect for date night. Quiet enough so that we could easily converse.
Everything was wonderful as always!
