Chef Tim Nicholson's menu changes daily to reflect local farm product availability. Loved the food at the Boiler Room and the ambiance was amazing. We also loved the pastry chef Mary! She was so sweet and friendly. The desserts were amazing! We had 1 of everything. Thank you for making my birthday extra special!

Amazing hidden gem behind nondescript doors. Once we entered we were met with amazing attention and hospitality. Grace the bartender created fantastic cocktails tailored to our requests. Once we were seated for dinner we enjoyed the interesting interior design of the space as we easily chatted through our dinner. The food was delicious and the deserts very well executed! Overall a evening we won’t forget for all good reasons. Highly recommend the place and we will be returning!

Not even -1- and done.
First time there, we promptly ordered a btl of Rose’ off the wine list, it took the waitress 15 minutes to locate it.
it was brought to the table room @ temperature and opened, we told the server to chill it to a drinkable temperature,
That took 20 more minutes, so we are 30-40 minutes into this thing no food or drink.
After the wine was chilled we ordered our starters, the manager served the apps and upon doing this he told us we would have
to leave by our table by 7:30! It was already 6:30.
I asked if he was joking and he rudely said “no you will have to be done eating and off the table by 7:30.” We we’re in shock as there was no
way we going to be able to enjoy our meal, let alone finish! Side note, there was 2 other couples in the entire restaurant at this time.
Absolutely one of the worst customer service situations we have ever been in.
We threw in the towel and left, not eating. Appalling is a good adjective.
In summary,
1-why would any supposedly higher end restaurant even think to serve a white/Rose wine at room temperature?
2-how could any professionally trained mgrs (or not) even think to run a paying customer out the door for their own lack timely service!!
3-we will never go back, as there are too many great restaurants in Omaha to take that kind of abuse.
4-hopefully the owners of this establishment will read this and fire the person in charge.

Excellent food! Had the skirt steak and salad. Perfectly cooked. Wonderful rich flavor. Ambience was great and noise level was low- all good. Amazing artisan bread as well. The food was priced very fair and appropriate for the high quality of it. My only complaint is that I would have liked a less expensive choice of wine in the menu. Even the cork fee seems a little excessive at $35. $25 would seem a bit more fair. $14 a glass was the least expensive glass of wine and it wasn’t good wine, of course, since it was the cheapest. And it tasted old. It was a little embarrassing to simply choose the cheap glass of wine due to the cost difference. That one thing is what would keep me from going more often. It was by far the best meal I’ve had in Omaha, so far. The more drinkable wines were well out of my budget- like significantly more than the food. But if a $35 cork fee is ok with you, then def bring your own bottle, as I think the least expensive bottle of wine was $70.

We went here on a date night and had the best food we’ve ever had in Omaha. the server was very knowledgeable and attentive. sparkling rose and port wine was impeccable and the duck confit was so good i almost cried! outstanding experience

When we arrived the guys checked on our reservations with the host and my girlfriend and I headed down to the bar. We had arrived 30 minutes early specifically to have a drink before dinner. Our friends were from out of town and we had told them how much we enjoyed the cocktails at this restaurant. Half way down the stairs we were reprimanded by the maitre die. He questioned whether we had a reservation and asked us to check with the host before we went any further. Our husbands were doing that. Our evening started out on a very bad note. After we told him that we did indeed have a reservation I then asked if we had permission to continue to the bar. The drinks and meal were great. Unfortunately after our food was served we did not see the waitress again. We had to ask to have the table cleared. Basically the service was horrible. Perhaps our expectations were too high but there are many high end restaurants in Omaha that do not embarrass their customers and have fabulous service. We won’t be back.

Terrible menu and service. Paid $22.50 for a Manhattan. Ordered one of their specialty cocktails and literally couldn’t finish it. $5.00 Appetizer, 2 cocktails and dinner over $90.00.

Arrogant, flippant millennial host and bartender who doubled as my server although I was seated at a dining table.

Do not waste your money

We always request and have always been seated at a table overlooking the kitchen. We love watching the food preparation and presentation! We were pleasantly surprised with the “Happy Birthday “ greeting on our menu acknowledging the event we were celebrating 😊 As always the food was delectable and our server Emily was efficiently professional and attentive. We always have such a wonderful experience here. It’s truly a gem that Omaha is very fortunate to have.

Just love this restaurant! We were here for the CWS in 2016 and loved eating here. We couldn’t wait to return! Not sure how the rating works for noise level but it’s perfect! So easy to talk to table mates. Food is exceptional! Can’t believe how the natural flavors of the food are so pronounced without a lot of additives. If we could make the 13 hour drive from Texas every week to eat here, we would do it!

All aspects of our dinner for 6 were outstanding from start to finish. Starters, entrees and deserts were perfect. The wine list is extensive so some study before arriving is helpful. Their policy of corking a bottle free if you buy a bottle is very wine friendly.

Our entrees were very salty & our service just adequate. Our waiter wasn’t very helpful & then slid our check onto the table without a ‘thank you for coming’ or ‘have a nice evening’, nothing. The seating host was very friendly though.

Great food from the steaks, fish (gnocchi excellent), the polenta delicious , cheeses, wine list. Service was great, fantastic ambience. I wasn’t to crazy about the lemon dessert cake ; a bit blasé overdone by presentation- needed more cake. Definitely worth the experience here.

The Chef is amazing, and the food interesting, beautifully prepared and presented. Tastes and combinations I had never experienced, and yet were not off-the-wall strange, made dining an excursion into a new zone. Also, the portions were just the right size: not too small or too large.

Dined here as a group of 6; so just a heads up that there is an upcharge for groups over 5. That said should I get great service? The food was excellent but not the service. Server ignored empty ice tea glasses. When requested she seemed really put out that she had to refill.
I never complain about paying for great food but when you are in the service industry give me great service!!! A smile goes a long way.
The sirloin steak and swordfish were prepared perfectly and had such great flavors. Atmosphere is very cool. We were seated upstairs, but if I return I will probably just sit at the bar and hopefully the bartender has better customer service skills.
Great food and poor service.

The Boiler Room is always excellent. The environment is distinctive, the food is innovative and delicious, the wine list is broad and well-curated, and the staff are highly professional. Our server helped us select the perfect wines for our meal and we had an amazing dinner.

At one point in the evening, there was a disruptive customer. It was handled perfectly, these situations are rare and challenging. Dealing with them effectively is a strong indicator of service commitment and quality. My confidence in the front of the house to provide an exceptional environment and service was already high, now it is absolute.

Between the food and the service, this is one of the most consistently excellent dining experiences in Omaha.

Really nice experience at the Boiler Room. From the greeting at the door on, they had their act together. Great looking space. Red Snapper with a crisped skin was excellent. All accompaniments were very good. They were accommodating in switching out one of the components for me. I should mention the server as well. I wish I could remember her name. She was very friendly, knew the menu and made good suggestions. She was there at the right time without being overbearing.

This would be a great spot for virtually any purpose. Date night, celebration or a client you need to impress. I should also mention they actually paid attention to my request through the OpenTable reservation for a table in a quieter area. Much appreciated as that doesn't always happen.

Our server was excellent and helped with suggestions for dietary changes necessary for one GF person at our table. Each entree was interesting, tasty and well prepared with unique use of vegetables. Fun atmosphere. Snapper was delicious and two ordered the Wagyu beef entree and one had halibut. The wild rice blend was delicious. Large variety of wine and cocktail choices. We enjoyed trying The Boiler Room when visiting Omaha. Slightly off the beaten path of the usual Old Market dining options but worth seeking out.

Second time back and glad we made the reservation. Berkshire weekend obviously a busy weekend in Omaha and Boiler Room was awesome. Drinks at the bar, table service, wine selection, and food execution were all on point. Couldn't recommend it enough. See you next year!

Great food and service in a unique atmosphere. I had the Sea Bass and it was amazing. The other members of my party had the ducks and halibut. Everything was prepared perfectly.

It was to celebrate my wife's birthday a week late, since we were celebrating with family on the day of... so we enjoyed the private seating and quietness of such open space. The food was very good with great presentation, all together making it a very nice evening together
