The service was awfully slow. We waited for our drinks for 30 minutes and the server said that it cannot be faster cause he is serving other customers.

We've been to Blu Ember twice before and had a nice time. This time, the receptionist was grumpy and short-tempered, the carpet where our table was located was dirty and the door leading to the outside, next to us, was very loud as it opened and closed repeatedly with Associates coming and going. The food was all right but not wonderful, as is usual. The Caesar salad was all Romaine stems (there need to be leaves on them, at least), plus that awful brown thing in the salad (WTH was that?), and the mashed potatoes with the New York and Petit Mignon steaks were watery. Service was fine but we won't come back, again, since the cost did not justify the experience.

Our family had a great evening dinner. We watched the sunset eating outside on the patio. The cauliflower bites small plates is amazing! It will surprise you. The ahi tuna is delicious and the wedge salad was so refreshing on a hot day. Great experience overall. I highly recommend it.

Sitting outside with the wonderful weather and gorgeous atmosphere of the hotel is a wonderful experience at the Blu ember’s. Can’t wait to return.

Ordered a Caesar Salad, the New York steak and Filet Oscar. New York was cooked to a perfect medium rare, tender and tasty. Filet was a little undercooked from the medium that I ordered and did not have any crab Oscar on the top. They re-seared the steak and brought a side of crab meat which was good but a little skimpy. Filet was very tender and delicious as well. Server and bus staff were pleasant and attentive. As proprietary owners and golf members at Rancho Las Palmas CC, we get 50% off dinner on Sundays at BluEmber so the value is outstanding for us.
