   We have been coming to Blue Agave for years and really enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately over the past couple of years things have been declining and the food and service is not good. My wife always likes scallops and this put this place on our regular list of places to dine out. The last couple of times the scallops have been cooked poorly and over spiced. For an entree that is $50 it would be nice if they cared to prepare more thoughtfully. They have also started charging $1 for chips and salsa to start, mind you the waiter did not tell us so we sat waiting for them. I had to ask a busboy about it as our waiter was MIA most of our visit. They need to teach their staff to check on every table and not bounce back to the kitchen for just one table. We always tip well so the waiter may have thought they did nothing wrong. For the value we spent $175 on for mediocre meals for two adults and two teens. Was very disappointing and luckily Fort Collins now has more options with Los Chingones and Mas Fuego. Will be hard for us to be pulled back to Blue Agave. If it was not for their location I could not see them staying in business.

   We are regular diners at the Blue Agave Grill. Today's lunch was to celebrate my granddaughter's Kindergarten graduation. This is a very good place to bring kids. They have a great kid's menu. The meal includes a soda and a small ice cream sundae, all for $5.95! And anything I have had from either the lunch or dinner menu has been excellent!

   Great seafood nachos. Seafood enchilada was delicious. Tilapia tacos wonderful. The chocolate peanut butter mousse was grainy and had a sour flavor. Overall, it was a great experience.

    Margarita flight is great value! Super busy for a Sunday, so bar was backed up. We had a large tables so still inside. Next time we go it will only be if it is an outside table - inside is super loud. Could only talk to the person next to you.

    The food was excellent but the service was absolutely terrible. Took 15 minutes to be acknowledged by the server. He said “I didn’t know they put you here.” Took another 15 minutes to get waters for the table and another 15 minutes and two requests to get chips and salsa. Would have ordered more margaritas if we didn’t have to wait 30 minutes to get them each time.

    Everyone loved the Lavender Margarita! Ahi Tuna ceviche was terrific. Skewered shrimp perfectly cooked - and my goodness there were 12 of them on the plate! One of us had chicken enchiladas which she thoroughly enjoyed. Finally the coconut shrimp salad was completely gone! My only complaint would be the incredibly LOUD restaurant. Unfortunately we had a family near us with a wailing baby who was (incredibly) ignored by its parents. Also the ladies room was out of TP, which as ladies know, is not appreciated!

    We have been coming here for years and have always loved it. We realize that prices have gotten worse but the prices seem exceptionally high! Six dollars for kitchen staff! We will not be not be coming back as often as we did.
