Welcome to Bleu Provence, award winning French restaurant, where elegance and hospitality are one, and the marriage of wine and food is a delight. Zagat-rated and Wine Spectator Grand Award recipient, Bleu Provence was opened by Jacques and Lysielle Cariot as a labor of love in 1999 after retiring to Naples, Florida, from Provence, France. They count their patrons more as welcome guests than customers, and you will see that expressed not only in the wine selection and menu, but also in the level of service you receive at Bleu Provence. The servers are well versed in the menu, and are happy to discuss selections with you. The Cave is home to more than 30,000 bottles, representing more than 3,000 different wines. C’est très bon!

    We had reservations for 4 people at 6:45 PM. We arrived at 6:35 and were told that we'd have to wait to be seated which was fine. By 7 PM, the small area around the entrance was full of people with reservations waiting for tables that weren't available. I have a physical disability and told the 2 women managing the front that I'm unable to stand for long periods of time and can't sit in the type of chairs that they have in the bar (after being told 3 times that I should go wait in the bar and saying 3 times that I couldn't). After 20 minutes we asked if we could order drinks. We had waited 15 minutes for a table at Bleu Provence once before and someone came after 5 minutes, took our drink orders and delivered them to us to have while we waiting. This time we were told we had to go to the bar to have drinks. We finally got seated after standing around for over 30 minutes. The food was as wonderful as usual except for my fish which was very dry. Disappointing after such a long wait. We’ve been to this restaurant a number of times and loved it but this wasn’t a good experience. I assume that they had over booked, hadn’t told the people dining earlier that the table was only available until 6:45 and the 2 women managing the front didn't handle the situation as well as they could have. We’ll try it once more to make sure that this was an aberration but won't be back if this is their new normal.

    We have been going to Bleu Provence for many years. We noticed a decline in the quality of food last year but figured we caught them on an off night. We went this year for a family member's birthday and will not be going back again for a long time. Their signature dish, the grilled mussels, were barely edible. The first two dishes came as appetizers and had to be sent back because they were too cold. Another person ordered them as an entree and they were not grilled as prepared in the past. The sauce was overpowering. Other entrees were equally underwhelming. The best I can say about the experience was that our waiter was extremely efficient and charming and the table we sat at was quiet with a great view of 3rd Avenue. This has always been one of our favorite restaurants but we will not be returning until the food improves.

    As usual, food was outstanding! Getting the food out seemed to be a challenge. It took quite some time for our entree orders to be taken, and then took quite a while to get it. The restaurant was not overly busy, so did not see the justification for this

    Our group of 5 had a lovely experience as part of Restaurant Week in Naples and a fund raiser for The Humane Society. The staff was charming, cordial and attentive and happily not pushy. The food was terrific, especially the soups and the desserts. Would recommend this gem to anyone that appreciates fine dining.

    This is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots to eat in Naples. The food is excellent and we have always enjoyed fantastic service. The fois gras is as good as we have had in Paris. The wine list is exceptional. The bar is cozy and the drinks are super.

    Deplorably bad food. Everything was underseasoned. Duck confit was dry and tasteless. Veal burger looked like cat food. Food all looked and tasted like it had been prepared in the morning and left sitting out all day. Dessert crepes were sodden and inedible.
