We went out for a dinner just before all restaurants closed. St Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage, my wife had the chicken special. Excellent all around. I hope that everyone stays in business through this nationwide shutdown. Thanks for being there!

This was not my first experience here and it will not be my last. This restaurant never disappoints us when we go there. I proposed to my wife here and the restaurant owner remembers everything. She is amazing and her staff are perfect.

Blade's Bistro was the perfect place to have a quiet, romantic date night for my husband's 50th birthday.
Had not been to Blades' Bistro for several years. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the service was attentive. It was brunch and I ordered the corned beef hash. It was the best I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was warmer and more welcoming than I remembered. We will be back to have dinner.

The food was delicious as usual. I was concerned when we were given a limited Valentine’s Day menu but I decided on 2 of the specials, the tuna poke appetizer and the Marsala dish. They were both outstanding. Tony, our server, was busy but still very attentive. The restaurant was packed even though we went early but neither the service nor the quality of food suffered.

Was surprised Blades lost their liquor license. Although the food is terrific, there are plenty of terrific restaurants in Albuquerque that have liquor. Won't be driving all the way to Blades in the future - we like cocktails when we go out for our celebrations.
Blades is always a good bet for a great meal and a nice evening. Kevin Blades is an excellent chef, Anna is a wonderful hostess. The staff always attentive and courteous. The cuisine tends toward European... very good.

Celebrating a birthday. Husband Had the Frutti de Mare and I had the Horseradish encrusted strip. Both were delicious but husband thought the FdM could have had more pasta.
Veggies and potato wedges were included in the strip entree but were pretty bland and could have used some seasoning - The steak was perfectly cooked and very flavorful.
Very disappointed that they no longer serve liquor so couldn’t have my usual dry martini to celebrate. Their wine list was limited. Server was meh or maybe his “attitude” because he was the only server. He basically told us we should put our order in while “you have me.” Uh, who says that in a fine dining restaurant?
We were comped for the Caesar salmon salad because we got it after our entree. Good thing because it was nothing special. Again, no seasoning and I didn’t taste the alleged smokey flavor of the salmon so not sure if was really smoked as indicated.
Would definitely go there again and especially happy hour when their prices are a little better.

Food and service at Blade’s are always good. However, the noise level is off putting. My husband could not hear our small party conversations. I en outrage Blade’s to research noise softening materials.

We took in the new Happy Hour prior to dinner. The grouper special was excellent—quality fish prepared with a skilled hand. Tried a Tokaj wine. A great restaurant to explore wines, as well as excellent selection of beer on tap.
We tried the Sunday brunch. The menu offers a variety of options. I had a gluten-free omelet and the other person had the banana pancakes (not GF) which he said were delicious.
Blades is usually great. Mussels are usually excellent, but on this day the broth was quite bland and lacking aromatics such as garlic
