    Blackwall Hitch is one of the finest restaurants in Annapolis on many levels, including offering a bar, general seating areas, private rooms, and outdoor rooftop dining. The menu offers a wide variety of choices for lunch, Sunday Brunch, happy hour, and dinner. Plus parking! I have shared many special occasions there and introduced guests who now dine there as well. I would recommend the Crab-Stuffed Rockfish, which is no small feat in a city known for seafood. And you can also enjoy a variety of local musicians performing live.

    Good for larger parties for brunch. The buffet is plentiful and has a wide variety of freshly prepared foods. There’s literally something for everyone. Service is very friendly.

    Waited quite a while after being seated. No one came to our table. We waited and waited some more. Waited for drinks. Waited for ice. Food was pretty fast served piping hot. It was ok overall. We wouldn’t rush back but we wouldn’t talk people out of going there. It was just ok.

    Not really a good or bad experience. Just don’t feel like it’s worth the price for what you get. I would try somewhere else next time I’m in Annapolis.

    Have been to Blackwall Hitch a few times over the years and have never really had a "great" time. With all the options in downtown Annapolis, you'd figure there'd be more pressure to bring it to the next level. You would be mistaken. Got a gift card for Father's Day, so the wife and I decided to head down and use it. We asked for a "secluded" table as we were celebrating (and the restaurant wasn't full) and got put smack in the middle of the main dining room. We had people next to us who sat down a few minutes after us, they were greeted and served drink orders before our waitress (the same one who served them) even made eye contact with us. We finally gave up and flagged down another waiter who took our order, our original waitress finally made her way back and took our order. By that time we were ready to another round of drinks and the manager came over and brought us another round. Then our waitress came back a few minutes later with the same round. We told her that the manager had helped us, she rolled her eyes then walked off. Food came, it was fine. I got a burger and my wife a pizza, both of which are pretty hard to mess up. Check came, we gave them the gift card along with our credit card (we had no idea how much was on the gift card). Manager came back, said the card wouldn't run and that he'd "credit" $50 on our bill. He made an additional charge on the bill, said he needed to keep our gift card to "investigate" the issue and that he'd get back to us. Guess what - he never did. You kind of have to try to screw up this badly. I know we'll never be back unless it's pick up a gift card which I'll probably give to a relative. Order at your own risk, folks. They need, but don't seem to necessarily want your business.

    Great meal! Started with calamari . I don't eat it, but my friends loved it! Also fried green tomatoes were very nice. Our teen had the truffle fries and said they were vey good. I had the stuffed rockfish and it was delicious! Very tasty! Our only issue was the upcharge for using a credit card vs paying with cash. I never carry cash! I guess I'll bring cash next time, as there will be a next time!

    Overall food was great. Would suggest less old bay on the naan that comes with the crab dip. The sauce in the steak was a little salty. Overall very good, enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.

    We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and wanted a nice place to celebrate. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, that service was very attentive. The lobster bisque was great as were the oysters and the calamari. We had a great time and would go back again.
