    Food was not good. Fried green tomatoes; all the breading just slid off, the rockfish was rubbery and undercooked and really salty. The rice was undercooked and hard, and every dish that had corn beware its frozen bag corn so the kernels are chewy and gross. For the price you pay do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

    What a wonderful experience I had at Blackwall Hitch. It was my first time at the one in Annapolis and I can say they did not disappoint. All the food was delicious and the staff and ambience was amazing. Me And my girlfriends celebrated best friends day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If you haven’t gone yet. Check them out.

    Overall it was a nice enough meal, but, at the end of the day, it’s essentially chain-style food dressed up to be fancy. It was ok. Some dishes were pretty good while others were bland and lacking character. The waiter was attentive and although he got my mother in law’s meal incorrect (did not fully listen to her request about food allergies), he responded well and kitchen promptly recooked for her. Best bite of food were the Chesapeake oysters. When we arrived, no one was working the front desk and we stood for a good 7 minutes before anyone even noticed us. I also tried calling (no answer on the phone) and sending a message in the app and no one responded. I’d go back if invited or opportunity came up, but not necessarily in a hurry to do so. It was good, just not great and Annapolis happens to be a city with some other “greater” options.

    My family and I had a wonderful experience at brunch. The food was great. There was a wide selection of food. Our server, Pete, was kind and attentive. We truly had a wonderful experience and will be back.

    Blackwall Hitch in Annapolis was a disappointment. The food was subpar, although the ambience and service were very good. We have dined at other Blackwall Hitch restaurants and the food quality was much better. I doubt we’ll return to this location.

    Attended Mothers Day brunch and was disappointed. Overcooked bacon and runny eggs. Undercooked and gooey prime rib. Only 2 oysters on the oyster bar. Loud 90s music. Pass.
