Our server was slow with whole dinner! Our appetizers were not hot ... food was good! Out of two desserts cheesecake and carrot cake which is my favorite....
The service was excellent. The meal portion were right. I had a steak and shrimp and wife had steak and lobster. All was prepared as ordered. Sever was very attended, and I would recommend this restaurant
We were the louder ones 😀
Nancy R was excellent at taking our order and following up on service. Food is always good here. Love this place.
Great atmosphere m! We loved the food and the service was quick and our server was polite.
Always a great place for a family dinner and steak. Their service is beyond comparison, staff are amazing, and the facilities are clean.
Got lucky and found the first parking spot . The wait was about 10 minutes with a reservation. Ambience was nice normal conversation level. The service was great Ashley was awesome. My only complaint is that my filet was dry. My wife enjoyed her rib eye. But for the price, it was a deal.
The pineapple margarita was a disappointment but the rest of he meal was excellent. Very good customer service.
Great privacy table for Valentines Day!
I was sat next to the kitchen door. My green beans were like rubber. My husband's prime rib was 60% fat
Friendly staff. Great service.
Good food, nice servers Always good, a nice place to go. The last minute reservations always is nice.
Very enjoyable evening go early because they really get packed.
We made reservations and we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table which I didn't like and the food this time was not that good which was unfortunate because it was my anniversary and we where looking forward to eating there. The service was good though and the atmoshpere is nice though.

Always enjoy the prime rib
We have seldom been disappointed at Black Angus.
Normally we do not go on Saturday night. It was rather busy and service a little slow, but at the end of our meal, they gave us a complimentary dessert. Very much appreciated.
The lobster was a joke....about 2 bites and overseaoned. Our salads came after the entree with about half the salad dressing needed for a plate of green salad. Steaks were eatable but nothing to brag about....
Honestly l have had better steak and lobster at Sizzlers!!
Always have a great meal. But dont always read special requests.
Food was good as usual
We live closer to another Black Angus but the Santa Ana Steakhouse is the best.
Server started out strong but disappeared once the food was delivered. The meal was barely warm and no one came by to check on us. We were very disappointed as it was a birthday dinner and was indicated on Open Table. Nothing special was done, why even bother putting it on the form? We filled out the restaurant’s review and received a call from the store manager. Explained that the experience was below the norm for that store and all he said is sorry and hoped we would give them another try. That won’t happen for quite a while (and we really enjoyed the food and service in the past).
The sever disappeard for 20 minutes at a time. Forgot a topping on the steak and took forever to even get acknowledged when sat. Absolutely horrific service.
THE SERVICE FROM THE SERVER WAS EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE FROM THE KITCHEN WAS SLOW.
Visited on a busy night but had good service and overall good dinner. The Cheese garlic Bread and house molasses bread are both very good. The Ribeye steak was good and prepared well. I tried the filet mignon after a few bad ones in the past and it was still a poor below average cut. I would stay away from the Filets. the sidekicks were all very good with the Au Gratin potatos. Overall the value is good and recommend the restaurant.
Enjoyed a steak dinner with a friend. We both thought our steaks tasted great, and the Au Gratin potatoes were also very good. We both had one alcoholic beverage each (draft beer & red sangria). I came prepared with a Free Steak dinner with the purchase of one of same/lesser value to $21. The total tab with tax & tip was just under $50.
Overall things were very good. The prime rib that three of ordered seemed to have too much fat.
The food was very good as was the service. Overall it was a very good experience.
Excellent experience this time. Great food, great service. The boneless ribeye was so delicious..
My first visit to Black Angus! I'm impressed with the ambience, servers and the food. Our server was terrific and helpful. I'm definitely coming back.
Good quality food and decent prices. Prime rib was excellent and choice of sides offered is very good.
Service was a little slow, not typical for this resturant.
Large selection of entrees at a reasonable price. Very good side salads.
Food was very good and service excellent, especially given holiday. Overall restaurant decor seems to need a facelift.
Reservation was for 8:00pm. We signed in at 7:55pm; however, had to wait until 8:40pm to be seated
Several in our party enjoyed the Fall Trio of steak, lobster, and shrimp. It was excellent and an excellent value. The kids and young teens options were great. One member of our party ordered a steak sandwich were the bread was basically inedible because it had been toasted or fried too hard. It was our only complaint. We were seated about 20 minutes past our reservation time but it was NYE and packed so we understood they were moving things along as quickly as they could.
New Year’s Eve...I guess they were busy!
Being this was the first time I had ever ate at a Black Angus I was impressed. The restaurant itself was big and each table had lots of space . We sat at one of the high booths so the noise level was nonexistent and had a lovely meal. Took advantage of the steak, lobster & shrimp dinner and was certainly not disappointed.
We had a glass of your house wine along with the meal and some pumpkin bread pudding with ice cream. A really delicious meal with a great waiter serving us. Yes you have me convinced that I will need to go back there real soon.
My sides were cold. The service was great. I didnt bother to bug the server with the coldness of my food .
I decided to take my sister-in-law to celebrate her birthday to my favorite restaurant, first time in Santa Ana. The food las EXCELLENT!!! The service was excelent too. Best place form any celebración. The price is cheap for the delicious meal, quality of service and cleaness of the restaurant!!!
Black Angus is our "go to" for family gatherings; and everyone enjoys it. On the other hand it seems to me that the service is getting slower recently.
The food is good; the portions are not overwhelming. There are frankly other options that provide excellent quality food, in more ample portions, at a better price.
I do like that the noise level is usually moderate, so that conversations can take place, even within groups of 8 or 10.
The family likes Black Angus, so I am sure that we will continue to patronize when the family gathers for occasions.
