We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. Food was delicious!
Food was great and so was service. Definitely a go-to for dinner.
This particular Black Angus has always been our “go-to” place for a casual family dinner. It’s centrally located, so easy for all family members to get to, reasonably priced etc. We’ve been meeting there for these dinners for years and always enjoyed ourselves and the campfire feast was always a favorite! The last few visits, the food has been mediocre at best and the service has been pretty poor. I’m not sure if there was a management change, but something has changed for sure. We thought maybe it was a fluke so we gave it another shot last night. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and decided to give it one last try. The decision was a mistake. Out of a party of 10, everyone had something wrong with their food. My daughter and I both had the filet, medium rare and it was actually raw and tasted like it was about to go bad. The asparagus was dry, the ribeye was pretty pathetic, so on and so forth. This time our waiter was very sweet, so we all decided to make do and didn’t return our food, however we collectively decided it would be our last family gathering there. It’s definitely unfortunate- we’ve had do many great experiences here, up until about a year ago (ish).
Finally, we only asked the bill be split into 2 checks. We had many items added on that no one ordered, including a carafe of wine!
It sucks at a celebration to have to go through the bill item by item, but after figuring it out we overcharged at least $100 for items we did not order or receive. The waiter happily adjusted it, but it was still an unfortunate experience.
3 out if 4 entrees were excellent. All steaks requested as med-rare but one was well done. Sent back and was given a very rare, nearly raw steak. Inedible at sitting. Took hope to cook further.
No waters or refills offered had to request but even then took too long too recieve.

Always enjoy going to Black Angus. The meals are delicious and the price is a good deal. Have never been disappointed with service. One of my favorite restaurants.
Very good. The food was good. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic.
Our server was always refilling our drinks and asking how everything was. She was great-Phoebe was her name. Great food and we were celebrating our Anniversary. Great food-great service. The only bad thing was that my daughter didn’t like her salad. It seems that they are using different lettuce and it’s not as good as before the pandemic. (Also no honey mustard)
I always come here and its always an amazing experience with customer service to the food and surroundings!

Perry was our server great food service loved watching dodger game...It was a really fun evening.
In order to make things easier for everyone, we made reservations for 5:00 PM and arrived at 5:00 on the dot and checked in at the front desk. We stood about 5’ from the desk while other parties arrived and were seated ahead of us and were finally seated about 1/2 hour later. We asked the manager about the delay and he indicated that “They thought we weren’t there” and offered to make some accommodation to make up for it. This was never done. Our drinks came and one was the worst tasting example I have ever seen (to be fair, they took it back and did not charge us for it). Dinner arrived and the steak (ordered Medium) was so uncooked you could almost not cut it at all with the steak knife provided. After being sent back twice, it still was not very good and most of it just went uneaten. We actually are regular customers here and generally very happy with everything so i sincerely hope that this experience does not represent a persistent change. In any case, we will certainly think twice before dining here in the future. Just sayin’

Dining at Black Angus is always an enjoyable dining experience and they did not disappoint. Our server was very nice, attentive and friendly. For the first time, the food was good but seriously over-cooked. The bread was hard, the potato skins on the appetizer platter were so hard I couldn't bite through the skin and they had obviously been under a heat lamp for a long time. My prime rib was tasty but not as tender as in the past. I do not understand what's going on at this place. I'm hoping this was a one-time incident.
The filet mignon was too blackened on the outside, overcooked and tough. The bbq chicken tasted burnt and the potatoes au gratin were cold. We have been earing there for years and this meal was the worst we ever had. Did they hire a new chef
The steaks are always fantastic at this restaurant and this evening we also had a great waiter who gave us one of the best services we have ever had at this restaurant. His service was prompt and efficient, brought us refills on our drinks without having to ask and also continuously checked back to make sure we were never in need of anything.
Everything was fantastic. Met our son their for his birthday.
The service grom the servers was great, the food was not as good as I expected. I been to this place before and the food was better. The end price was more than what I was expecting.
We had to wait forever for our drinks, then meals. I just wonder if they are understaffed due to Covid. We both found long bugs on our arms. Kind of looked like termites. Portions have gotten smaller. Shrimp was not fresh. Filet mignon was excellent as was the salad. Waitress was great.
Honestly it’s a little overpriced for the quality of the steak. My wife had the top Sirloin and I had the New York steak. We could have gone to Claim Jumper had a better steak with better sides for the same price. Other than that place is ok
We had a wonderful meal for my birthday. What a surprise when our server brought the “cowboy cookie”.

Our friends enjoyed the feast. My prime rib was thin and under cooked. My husband's ribeye was very thin and tough. Our waitress was excellent.

Our server, Alyssa, was very good. She served the different courses at just the right time with a great personality. Each course was served either cold or hot on time!
Our server was good, but a little on the unknowing side of a few things, and when we jokingly went to tell her what they were, she kinda snapped and said that was rude. I personally thought that was a little distasteful of a server to do to a table even if she did not know what things were... but lucky for her, the person at our table was a VERY good going and VERY GENEROUS man at the end of the meal and we all had a good time.
The lobster was overcooked or somehow not very juicy.

We had to wait over 15 minutes just to get a refill on our water and soda. Several staff walked by and never offered to fill our empty glasses that we set down at the end of our table hoping to get a refill.

They have good food, steaks and ribs in particular, for a good price. Their sides of Mac-N-Cheese and Au Gratin potatoes are really good. I do miss the sauteed green beans with bacon. Their appetizers are good. I particularly like the steak quesadilla.
Had not at a black angus in many years. Food was good. Service was excellent. Very quiet but we were there at 5:00 pm.
The service here was very slow. The food arrived at room temperature instead of being hot. The steak was overcooked. This place has always been good but this was a real letdown. We'll think twice before going here again.
